Your Elder mentions the dust from the collapse. This was a very insightful and intuitive statement on his part. Most people don't realize that just as many first-responders ( as many as the civilians that died on that day in those Towers) have now died after surviving those Twin Towers. They have died and continue to die because of what was in that dust. And that's not even talking about the first responder dogs. It got so bad for the dogs that they started becoming depressed because they couldn't find any live people. The First Responders would actually start hiding themselves in the debris so the dogs could find a live individual because the dogs were becoming so sad and depressed by the fact that they couldn't find any living people

    • @CuzKatieSaysSo

Thanks for mentioning that. I recall too, that they did that, hid so the dogs could find someone. Poor sweet souls. Of course, every one of those dogs are gone now. *Neither Babu, Sarru, nor Raju realized before this, that there were FOUR planes that were headed to FOUR buildings not all near each other...and that last one never made it's target because the passengers rallied against the hijackers, feeling if they crash, it's better than the plane hitting whatever target the hijackers were set on. The Pentagon is NOT in NYC, sirs, and neither was the 4th target. Also, it was not just Americans on those flights and in those towers. The Twin Towers had thousands of folks, many from other countries, doing business for their countries, in America. The emotions I felt, that those folks died for America, not even for their own countries. That is especially sad.*

It was good, and maybe all of that day may have overwhelmed these gentle men, seeing and absorbing it all at once. It did us, that day, right?
It is still a wonderful watch. Previously, on one of their channels and maybe here, they watched Operation Boatlift. That itself is emotional to see. Plus the texts from the Flight 93 I believe...that story alone is heartbreaking. ALL of it in one day....well, we were overwrought for weeks, recovering from processing all that happened that day. Perhaps the channel's creators took that into account.
Gander, Newfoundland, Canada is another tale of that day.
The operation to bring more firefighters, rescue workers with search dogs to find bodies, etc to NYC is yet another incredible story.
The Pentagon hit is another story by itself as well.
Far too much occurred that day and it IS overwhelming and DID 'damage' Americans headspace for quite some time. Telling the stories to those who know minimal information about 9/11 should be done in a much longer time frame than normal for these videos, plus, I do wonder if they used a less all inclusive video of that day and thought to give the whole story in pieces.
My gut tells me these men would be horrified and wouldn't get the images out of their minds, if told the entire story and sub stories in one sitting. If you like these guys, you should watch it.

*I am 60, and I will never forget September 11, 2001, and in vivid detail of every minute of that day. I can literally feel every emotion from every minute, and whenever I again watch video or hear audio of the events, it sharpens even more. It's happening now, as tears are coursing down my cheeks. All the individual events, together on a timeline...including Operation Boatlift and such...it rips at the healed-over scars on my heart and soul, from the original events and day. So much devastation, obliteration, tragedy and loss...and so much courage, sacrifice, love and help that poured in not only from around our country far and wide, but from other countries, rushing to our assistance. Like a blanket of love, sympathy, and help, covering multiple scenes of horror.*

We weren't in the US, but I remember the day just as vividly. Got home from school, to hear the phone ring. It's my father. He didn't say hello or anything else, he just said, "Turn on the TV and put on the news channel." I relayed his instructions to my mother, who was in the living room. She did as he asked and for a long time none of us said anything. We were just trying to process what we were seeing/hearing.
The following day at school was incredibly somber. I was one of the first students sitting in the classroom, one of my classmates came in, we just looked at each other. "You saw the news?" A nod and more silence. And it kept on like that until the bell rang and our teacher came in...we did not have our math lesson, instead we all quietly talked about what happened, he asked us how we felt and allowed us to express our thoughts. That same day, the principal had all the students and faculty gather in the schoolyard for a moment of silence.
    And then everything changed.
We were students at an international school in a middle eastern country. From then on we kept hearing stories about foreigners being targeted, about car bombs and both our teachers and parents drilling it into us not to touch anything that was left lying on or near a car (even a juicebox). International schools stripped the school names off of their buses and vans and tinted the windows. We had regular evacuation drills and showed up to school one morning to find soldiers and a tank by the school entrance and the school grounds.
Our English teacher asked us if having soldiers and a tank on school grounds made us feel safe. It didn't. And little by little the student body started to shrink as more families decided to transfer or seek a job that would take them back to Europe.
By 2004 my parents had had enough and did the same and moved us halfway around the world.

As an American, I find this type of blatant and open reactions to the loss of so many lives reprehensible. Joy is the only response that I have known that any Muslims had until now. I'm glad you three men don't feel that way. I don't live in New York, but I watched the news from my home as the day's events unfolded. All I could do was sit and pray to God that as many people as possible could get out of those buildings and out of the area so full of dangerous, thick smoke. I was traumatized by this horrific event, and I thought ALL Muslims were glad about it. Thank you for letting people know that you don't feel that way. The day these tragic events happened was ingrained into the minds of everyone who was in New York and those who saw the world news. Putting all the theories to one side, me being in my early teens got back home from school to routinely sit down and watch kids programs on BBC to find that them programs were replaced by shocking live news feed of the disaster. That shuck everyone to the core as the event was taking place. Helplessly frozen in place as one horrific news feed came in after another.

When the staff at my elementary school heard the news of what was going on, they brought the TVs into the classrooms, and we all watched the live coverage. I was too young to fully grasp what was going on, but I knew that everyone was scared by what was happening. I don't remember much of the actual coverage, but it was certainly a traumatizing event for people all across the United States and much of the world. And how quiet it was there. I was in a college class, and someone came in after a break, saying a plane accidentally crashed into the first tower. I remember knowing that it was no accident.

I knew right then and there that I'd lost some friends (they worked in the WTC). Spent the rest of the day glued to the TV. Saw the jumpers. Saw the collapses. Saw the aftermath. I remember watching this on the news as a child. People jumping to their deaths. Screaming. Jets flying over my school as they evacuated us. Watching the buildings fall. The plane that went down in PA. I knew the firefighters that went to the wreck. They said there was nothing left but body parts and scraps of metal......... I remember hearing about them fighting back so the terrorists couldn't weaponize another plane. Any time I watch this I cry thinking about that day. 😔 All those lives lost and the ones that chose to fight back and die to save lives. 💜🇺🇲 Rest In Peace. Thank you for your honest reactions. Love from America. ❤

This video could have been much better. They never show the actual planes flying into the buildings, which there is a lot of footage of. Its also edited strangely, showing the aftermath, the hit, and before all in a mish mash instead of in order.
They also don't mention how long it took the government to help the first responders get the care they needed. And also how we used this attack to go after the wrong country for the wrong reasons. It also leaves out WHO did the attack.

That flight United 93 that landed in that field in Pennsylvania, was heading towards the White House because that was their target but they took control of the plane and they tried to control it but the terrorist took them into a nose dive and just crashed straight down with no survivors but allot of phone calls to family n authorities

I know they didn't and wouldn't show it on this video, but the live coverage, actually showed terrified ppl jumping from hundreds of feet up before the buildings fell... I can never un-see that....

I was a senior in high school driving to school (west coast) and was hearing it on the radio. I thought it was one of those morning talk show pranks that they do. I got to school and every class room (It was a small rural highschool) had a TV playing the news. It was a very quiet and somber day of school. The world had changed forever for us kids.

FYI- the debris was sifted for human remains. It was rare if even a piece of bone was found to identify. These tall buildings were a favorite tourist spot because of their height. Besides offices, there were many different facilities with workers of every kind. Those above the crash had no way to get to the stairways to go down. These planes were full of fuel that ignited and burned so hot as to melt the steel beams holding the floors and walls ...it also flowed down the elevator shafts. Those that jumped were a 1,000 feet above the ground.
Did the ash cause illnesses...yes. Those rescuers suffered the most health problems, those that were not killed in the collapse. There were several levels that were underground that housed the main transit system from Long Island, many shops, and parking for vehicles. There were other buildings nearby that were also damaged. All was compacted into the lower levels.
The third plane was driven into the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. and killed workers at their desks there. The fourth plane was about to turn to go back to crash the White House in D.C. when the passengers drove the plane into the ground in Pennsylvania trying to retake the control. The lady speaking lost her husband. Many people in the buildings called to say goodbye to family, as did those in the planes.
These victims were from every nation, faith and walk of life...and, yes, there were children. Not only killed directly but so many that would grow up without a parent(s). All those killed have a memorial on those sites...we still read their names...they are still missed.

One of the hardest parts to watch because I live in New York where is not only the people running past my building and me seeing the towers fall but seeing the people jumping off the building also and I think it was 160 people that jumped because it was a choice of burning alive or a quick painless death n just go out with a bang.

I don't know if watching this will ever not feel like personal trauma and I lived in Missouri. Every time, I just hurt for all of those people, all of those reasons they did things...that we would normally find unthinkable. Jumping from a burning building with no escape. Rushing a cockpit to save essentially more lives, and the actual illnesses people have now from breathing in all those burning building materials.

I had just finished voting early in the morning and when I came out a woman sped into the parking lot claiming a plane crashed into the WTC. I ran home and was glued to the tv. I cried for three days for all of those people. It was heart stopping to see them jump out the windows. I also thought of all of the cats and dogs who's owners never came home that night.

I was 7 years old when this happened and I will never forget it. I was in school watching the weather forecast with my class to see if we could have recess that day, when it suddenly was interrupted to show live footage of the towers and of people jumping or falling out of the towers. The door was open to the classroom and I could hear many other teachers gasping and crying, phones going off, people in a general panic, and even some kids recognizing the twin towers because their parents or family members worked there and going hysterical.. Hearing their wails will stick with me forever. Everyone was sent home because they thought it was a mass attack on america and they didn't know what was going to be targeted next. I'm 30 now and still vividly see it.
