Chris Morris plays Denholm and he is a comedy legend here in the UK. He was responsible for so much brilliant yet surreal satire through the 90s and early 2000s. Not shy of controversy - people cry about 'cancel culture' in comedy today (and it is a thing) but Chris Morris was taken to court by a member of the actual Government over a joke back in 2001/2! Whilst I would personally recommend all of his TV and Radio stuff I would highly recommend you check out a less well known TV show called "Nathan Barley". It's quite wacky but that's the joke as it is mocking a social group who, at the time, were 'hipsters' ... but when/if you watch it keep telling ourself that it was written back in 2005! Chris Morris isn't actually in it, he wrote it with Charlie Brooker (the guy who writes Black Mirror) and I think he directs but it is utter genius and seems more relevant today, 20 years later, than it was back in 2005. All that being said, his earlier TV stuff like "The Day Today" (a news show parody) and "Brasseye" (an investigative documentary parody) may be more your sort of thing (he stars in both). Not sure how easy it will be for you to find them but Nathan Barley episodes I think are on YT

It crowd is a pinnacle of socially awkward nerd comedy. It’s done so well and tastefully. I always comeback to that series just to see how many random props are lying around in the background, and their T-shirts and posters are so cool in a nerdy way

I've been reading writer Graham Linehan biography Tough Crowd. He said that Chris Morris wasn't his first choice as Denham mainly because Graham thought the show was beneath him. . He wanted Matt Berry from the start but Chris kindly took the role as a favour to Graham, just to get series 1 started on time. Matt of course comes on board in series 2. But I won't spoil it too much..
That's quite a revelation! Chris Morris absolutely nailed the role. If he'd been in it longer, I don't think I would given the honours to Matt Berry. Graham wrote for them both perfectly IMO.

As I was walking up the path my next door neighbour who don't normally speak to, was stood at her door saying it's cold. I didn't think it was cold, as it was around 14 degrees Celcius. I then told her that all of our neighbours bins blew over last night (apart from mine), and my other next door neighbours rubbish was blowing around the street. However just before the bin men arrived (which I was looking out for to see if they collected his bin), a friendly teenager picked up some of their rubbish, picked up the bin, and put it nice and straight, ready for the bin men to collect, who were just a few doors away by now. I also told her that the top of a massive tree 8 or 9 doors away had fallen into the middle of the road at roughly 5am this morning, and had completely crushed one of our neighbours bins. I know this because a man with a loud chainsaw had to chop it up, before it could be put on the back of the truck he arrived in. In between those 3 little stories about the bins, the wind, and the tree, she kept saying things to me, however I couldn't hear a word she was saying because of her quiet voice and the wind, so I just said I'm off in now, and left.
