I just got AWD. For the price I paid with $7500 fed tax credit, $5000 Colorado tax credit, $2000 referral credit, this is the best bargain I have ever owned. Drives so well once you get used to it despite its quirky stuffs. A fantastic vehicle so far.
It's crazy there's news coming out today that they're going for as low as $70,000 now. Some people love reported seeing them cheaper. The cyber truck or Tesla market is crashing. Some people are trying to sell them and dealerships have to turn them away as they only want internal combustion vehicles. Because internal combustion vehicles are depreciating far less quickly in some cases they're holding their value very very well. One of my friends manages a few dealerships here in Canada. And he was saying that they aren't accepting any teslas at the moment. Because they can't move them. People aren't buying them
@KingAfsheen yeah this is in Canada though. So maybe it's a bit different in the states where you are. But he was telling me that they were ordered not to accept any more teslas at this point because they just are not selling. He was saying that they have to sell the current ones in his inventory before they can even consider getting anymore. He said other units like ice vehicles are still moving and selling really well right now.
It'll never be sold in the EU or UK. It meets none of the safety standards....not 1 and is as heavy as commercial lorry, so the driver would need a special license and insurance.

At first, I thought the back portion was hideous, but it grew on me, and I find it okay. The front, on the other hand, looks menaced, which I like. But the haters are just unbelievable!*

the cybertruck is just an ego project from elon. I used to love tesla, but the cybertruck makes no sense, the quality isnt improving nor is it the level it should be at the prices they charge for the cars and not to mention elon has lost his mind and become some dystopian evil cartoon villain.

And that range extender takes up half of its already mostly useless bed. There would be no point in having a truck at that point. Tesla cult members just kill me. Tesla can put out a garbage vehicle, they will have lots of problems, and they will still claim it is the best vehicle they have ever owned. If any other make, especially a luxury brand, released a car with the fraction of the issues Tesla seems to have they would be demanding the manufacturer buy it back.

So let me get this straight: - You paid 50 bucks for 220 mile range which makes about 0.23USD per mile. - A similar ICE truck, lets say Ford F150 Raptop is rated at about roughly 20MPG combined consumption which if we consuder the current price per gallon (about 3,2USD) makes about 0.16USD per mile... Math is not my strong side but I do know 0.23>0.16, so basically the CT is not only one big piece of engineering junk with a soviet car level of build quality, but it's also more expensive to recharge than a similar ICE truck 😂😂😂

Thank you for a fair and honest review; I am fine with people who like EV's. I have some serious concerns when it come to Tesla products though. I loved my 2001 Honda Insight it made it 470,000 miles before being a total loss. It took one clutch the tires lasted 60k plus miles and overall service in it's time was just under $10,000. I own many vehicles semi retired and farm; my truck is a 1973 4x4 Chevy square body. It would cost me $54.75 to tow my 10k trailer now loaded and never stop to gas up with premium. Easy to repair and still looks and works like new. My every day driver is a 1996 Accord it has cost less then $10,000 to keep it on the road for 29 years. Tesla's build quality to me is a real issue.

My utility provides super off peak at .037 a kilowatt. It would cost $3.7 to charge 100kw at night. Owning a ev and not charging at home is rough.. I don’t want to deal with superchargers or gas stations.
After off roading it can be really dirty with mud and this version of the truck came with white interior soooo it looks cool but man does that white pleather get marked up fast. I always keep some all purpose interior cleaner wipes in case it gets dirty
If you charge at home or most level 2 chargers it costs a lot less than superchargers. I do wish superchargers were cheaper though. It seems like it would make sense to build a version that is not stainless steel exterior and built more for efficiency.
I like the toughness of the truck. I wouldn’t change the material. It gives me peace of mind when I lock the doors. It will be cheaper at home but not by much my electric company is a bunch of thieves the way they charge us… its actually insane

I tried to file a police report they told me to just go through my insurance because they would have a hard time investigating. I had the guys face on video and it happened in a hotel parking lot so the hotel could corroborate the claim too I was severely disappointed with the way the police handled that please subscribe. I hate that people don’t understand the beauty of the vehicle from driving itself to summon to boombox mode to Christmas lights to bulletproofness to using a trailer and how smooth the pull is compared to a gas truck. PEOPLE YOURE PAYING FOR FUTURE DEVELOPMENT. When EV has 1000’s of miles on a single charge then they’ll be perfect across the board. Last point majority of truck owner don’t do truck things. From hauling to using the bed for heavy weight lifting. They get it because it looks bad ass and is a huge truck.

@@KingAfsheenthe problem you have is you bought a very early production model. You paid way too much but you wanted it as an early adopter. I have owned a model X since 2016. I have had in the shop twice in 9 years. You paid a premium to be the first and early production models are going to have issues. Every OEM has these issues in ramping production and many of them are solved. Put the damn wheel covers on and stop complaining or sell it.
I don't think the the fire fighter part is accurate, but the pedestrians, cyclists, and other vulnerable road users is absolutely a thing. Better not hit anyone that's not protected by another vehicle with that thing…

I charge it in my garage, cost me $3 each time. Plug in after work ready in the morning just like you charge you phone.

I hate that people don’t understand the beauty of the vehicle from driving itself to summon to boombox mode to Christmas lights to bulletproofness to using a trailer and how smooth the pull is compared to a gas truck. PEOPLE YOURE PAYING FOR FUTURE DEVELOPMENT. When EV has 1000’s of miles on a single charge then they’ll be perfect across the board.
Last point majority of truck owner don’t do truck things. From hauling to using the bed for heavy weight lifting. They get it because it looks bad ass and is a huge truck.

I have owned a model X since 2016. I have had in the shop twice in 9 years.
You paid a premium to be the first and early production models are going to have issues. Every OEM has these issues in ramping production and many of them are solved. Put the damn wheel covers on and stop complaining or sell it.
