Wow. Can't believe this guy can talk while negotiating that total chaos on a bike, or anything else, for that matter. I'd be sweating bullets trying to drive in that HELL.
Impressive filtering, and you make it seem effortless. This is one area where I greatly prefer my Int. 650. It makes filtering a whole lot easier than anything else I've ever been on.
That's one of the reasons I switched. Not so much the ability to filter itself, but the engine overheating in such traffic conditions. The Interceptor is much better in that regard; doesn't give me the anxiety with heat management.
AutoTune in not needed nearly as much as AutoHorn is needed where you live. I see some faint lines in the road but it looks like it's just a suggestion. Chaos!
I am also having some concerns about autotune. I am feeling that the autotuned map is too flat. The is not so reactive as It was with the canned map. Can you say more precisely which kind of differences are you feeling between canned map and autotuned one? What was not good with the autotuned one?
The fuelpack 3 is great , if you get the US version it will not do great in India. The reason for that , the US version of Fuelpack is for US fuel blend in US. In India they have different fuel blend. This is why the US version not doing great on your bike.
Well as of 2018 I have had no problems whatsoever with the FP3, in fact it is tuning it better with each ride. While running in the bike and in the early days of the autotune it will run rich for a while. Once I got to about 1400 km on the clock it was running much leaner and smoother. At 2000 km its almost running like a dream, just a bit rich on idle but only until the engine warms up. In other words keep auto tuning all the time and it will run optimal. I think some of the issues you are having could be a problem with your phone i.e. poor blue tooth transceiver. You should try it with another phone and see if the connection issue goes away. It is possible the fault is in the hardware not the software.
Its a NARROW BAND tuner which means it may get you in the ball park of a good tune but its nothing like a wide band tune as in a real dyno tune with either O2 sensors or a tail pipe sniffer. Not to mention with this unit your driving it around while its tuning, which means as you ride it could be lean, or rich etc... on a dyno if you see it running rich or lean you stop immediately , make adjustments and try again. With this its possibly going to cause engine damage while it drives down the road popping, missing and not running right as it "learns" the fuel curve. Cool idea and concept but NOT IDEAL... Not to mention watching these videos it looks like it takes hundreds of miles or more.. silly really IMO
Just let the bike warm up on autotune. It'll run fine when the temperature reaches about 90*. I had similar issues with my bike. It's a 2015 sportster 48. I suggest you stay a little more patient when it comes to autotune, bcz it really really pays off. Run the bike in autotune for no less than 400kms, flashing at every 40-50 kms. I have a set of shortshots with a heavy breather on my bike. And they were a bitch to tune. I rode the bike in for about 600kms flashing every 50kms. The bike runs like a dream, very smooth and progressive throttle, the torque has much improved and high rpm power as a well. Just hang in my Friend✌️ Ps: it's only going to run good once you've finished your autotune. And not when you've flashed it. If it runs like shit during the autotune session let it run like shit. Keep flashing, and finish your autotune after atleast 500kms of autotuning.
+Faraz Mustafa Khan Thanks for the suggestion. I too was thinking of doing a similar long auto tune and giving it another try, specially now that there have been several software updates. Have to plan for it sometime.
I'm sure you didn't do something right. I have saw one vlogger who started our with n can map because his pipes weren't listed. So he used a can mao with similar pipes. He had problems also, but finally got it straighten out and he saw a huge difference than before. You are the only one I've seen not estatic with the results. I've done and seen on 20 or more Harleys of all types, such as Irons and all the sportsters, Dyna super Lowrider S, Several if the Softail line, Street Glides, Road Kings, ect. All with great outcomes. So 1 out if 20+ is less than 5% unsatisfied rate. I wish it had worked better for you.
+Jeff Tilghman But for me the canned map is working great. I do admit that the auto tune session I did wasn't long enough. I want to do several long sessions and keep combining the results to see if that gets better than the canned map. V&H have also fixed several bugs since then. I just have to find the time now.
+Darshan N Hey! Did you see me yesterday? I would have been riding to or from work. I did have a ride today though. Will put the video up as soon as I can. Cheers!
+Darshan N Ah! I remember you! I was just having a relaxed ride. Just sped up for a moment when some other vehicles annoyed me by blocking all lanes. Nice riding on your part, but be careful :)
+Michael Miller Yeah, I would like to do a long trip there sometime when I can manage to find the time and money :) Many of the Indian highways are good too once you get away from the cities. Best thing is there are no speed limits in most places but you still have to keep a reasonable speed for your own safety considering the various hazards around.
That's true from what I've heard. But I've also heard that they don't usually recommend people doing the auto-tune unless there wasn't a suitable canned map available or the canned map wasn't working right. In my case, the canned map actually worked pretty well. Better than the auto-tune.
I have a K&N air filter too which is freer flowing than stock. But from my experience, even having just the free-flow slip-ons drastically affects the low end torque and acceleration. The FP3 fixed that.
instead of worrying about your fp3, I'd be concerned with my riding habits, and thank whatever god you worship that you didn't become a squishy pile of raw meat on the road. I guess you folks don't care that an ambulance has it's lights on and maybe in the process of getting someone to the hospital with a life threatening injury???
+Jim You could see the speed the ambulance was doing and I did not get in its way after passing it, so there was no impedennce from me at least for it to get to where it was going as fast as it could. Also they'd better have some working emergency lights on all sides. You might have noticed that when he approached from behind, I could only hear his siren and not see which one he was among the bunch of other vehicles in the dark. It's unfortunately very common here. As for your other observations, you're right. But if you really have to be safe here, you shouldn't be out on the road at all. There's only so much you can do in the madness all around.
Nice! Good job not dying. I don't think I'd want to drive anything other than my truck there.

Cracking up watching you ride that Harley among all the little scooters. You gotta feel like the king of the road over there, lol

Thanks for sharing your experience.

What was not good with the autotuned one?
Exactly like you said. With the autotuned map the bike wasn't as responsive as with the canned map.
Great video, this is exactly what is happening to me!

Holy piss...you guys have NO TRAFFIC ORGANIZATION!!!! EVERYONE IS CHAOTICLY SPRAWLED OUT IN EVERY, FUCKING DIRECTION-HHEELLPP!
+- MrRIchBiker LOL! Yeah, it's bad, but you get used to it.
lol its like this in manila too. and yes, you get used to it, and lane splitting is actually pretty fun.

thanks for the information buddy looks like lots of fun riding in that city

Dont know how you can auto tune in all that krazy traffic. Cant go faster then 15 mile per hour

Did you get the FP3 India software version? If you have the U.S. software it will not populate properly in India.
I got it it from the US, so must be the US version. How are the versions different? Can you please elaborate?
The India software is intended for higher traffic conditions than in the U.S.
+Yeti Van Marshall LOL! Good one!
@@yetivanmarshall9880 Are you sure about this?

OMG... that traffic hahahaha... that's need some skills to stay alive for an hour!!! your bike sounds good btw....
I ran one tank of fuel with auto tune and reloaded original generic Can map also. Auto tune is nothing
More than a sales gimmick
How can you concentrate on such traffic??
+freymaster4449 That probably explains why I was vlogging so bad. :)
Volatile42 that's bad blogging???
Wow. There is just too many people in that area. I hope it isn't like that everywhere.
hey there! was hoping you would have uploaded yesterday's video of your road trip on Hoskote road! 😂😂
+Darshan N Hey! Did you see me yesterday? I would have been riding to or from work. I did have a ride today though. Will put the video up as soon as I can. Cheers!
I was racing with you lol.(coz you were driving slow) The white FZ S guy 😂
+Darshan N Ah! I remember you! I was just having a relaxed ride. Just sped up for a moment when some other vehicles annoyed me by blocking all lanes. Nice riding on your part, but be careful :)
oh yes for sure. ty for the concern though. 😍😍
You would love American interstate highways. Lots of room, hardly any traffic , run 85MPH.
That kind of traffic isn't going to allow you to populate the cells and get a full range of throttle control.
+Robert Browne That's true, but when I did my auto tune, I went through a mixed bit of traffic including a highway run of 50-70mph.
They have excellent customer support... Just sayin
That's true from what I've heard. But I've also heard that they don't usually recommend people doing the auto-tune unless there wasn't a suitable canned map available or the canned map wasn't working right. In my case, the canned map actually worked pretty well. Better than the auto-tune.
Why would u tune it for just slip ons , that is not even a stage one 🤔🤔🤔🤔
I have a K&N air filter too which is freer flowing than stock. But from my experience, even having just the free-flow slip-ons drastically affects the low end torque and acceleration. The FP3 fixed that.
Holy crap!!!!! that Harley will be in pieces soon! seems like no lanes everyone is getting cut off. Dont look like fun at all
+tungpo1 Yeah, it's mayhem! You learn to work with it after a while. Can be fun too, sometimes. :)
That in no way is any kind of area to try and auto tune
Hmm...riding my 800 lb Harley would not be fun there.
Every time I try to auto tune my mc runs like shit. I wasted $400.
BTW... I would not like driving there
WTF....are these people evacuating the city? The FP3 doesn't work cause ya cant ride the bike.....
Harley sandal boots
I saw you today bro ....
+Sibin Santhosh Cool! Where? Hope I wasn't riding too bad. ;)

Wow.... The traffic system there is... Non existent.
+William Petro Yeah, it's a free for all for the most part. LOL!

You think this is going to do anything for your SLIP ONS🤣🤣🤣
