Thank you so much mate 👍 I am so surprised people don't target these fish more often, I'll certainly be chasing them down any chance I can now on for sure! I've seen a few 70 models kicking around aswell 🤔🤔 cheers for the sub 😎🤜🏼
Thank you for watching Lennard 👍😄 Ooh definitely, my speciality has become catching fish in the best kept secrets, and that is the spots hidden in plain sight 😄👍
Just my 2c but iv chased these guys on the flats around Fraser a bit and surprisingly iv had a lot of luck using heavier jig heads. Yabby imitation plastic with a 1/4-3/8 oz and just drag it along the bottom in front of them haha. I never have any luck with light jig heads or fly
That's really interesting mate, thank you. They must also pick on the noises of the lure on the bottom aswell? Which makes sense when you think about it. Were you using scents at all? Definitely watching this again I can see many opportunities of when I could have caught them, but didn't know the retrieve
Saltwater fly guys almost always fish things hard on the bottom for things like mud emperor. For those fish, their frame of reference is the bottom. You don't have to move things much. Just enough to get them to notice it and move on it. No scent necessary.
100% the noise and also it disturbing the bottom and kicking up some dust. Literally just a slow wind with it dragging along the bottom kicking up that dust is a goer. Also yes I run scent no matter the lure or targeted fish, surly it can’t hurt right haha. With Bream and whiting it 110% has a massive increase in bite rate so surly it would help with these picky fellas
I'll definitely give that a crack next time 🤙seems to be a reoccurring thing I'm finding out now. I actually haven't used scent for the last couple of years, but I'm going to get back into it and see if I notice a difference
Absolutely sickkkkk video keep it up JC!!
😎🤙 cheers my dude
Great perspective of targeted fishing utilising the Drone.
Great video mate! Hats off for all the work you put behind the scenes in filming and editing these vids 👏
Thank you mate, I'm glad someone appreciates it 🤜🏼
Well done bro. Always good to tick the fish you want off the list with lures. Cheers for showing me a new fish to target. You got a sub today from me.
