I know you didn’t ask for names, but I can’t help throwing one out there. To keep the animal theme with a nod to Bear, Don Kodiak would be a great show name (Kodiak is a type of bear in Alaska).
I also love the stable name Koda which means “little bear.”

The two light mares (bryni and bear) both had dark foals and Millie had a light foal 🫠

Really didn‘t expect the two having black foals. They‘re both gorgeous😍so glad they are all healthy and happy, it‘s been a long time coming. Looking forrard to see them growing up!

He is what we call a "long - legged horse". My horse has it too, its completely normal. It means that they have to really bend down or sometimes bend their knees to be able to reach and eat the grass. So cute! xx

Smokey black and black visually don’t look any different, you’d have to test. Smokey black like any black will have different tones, but there’s no way of visually telling them apart.

He's PERFECT, Meg!!! I was getting so worried too 😭So overjoyed to see this baby hit the ground so well. Bear is such a sweet, happy momma; I got all excited you saying this might not be her last foal. I know the vet bills are mad, but she and Dee having foals next year would be epic...
(BTW, and this isn't a criticism, but I would love to have stallion footage (and archive footage of the mare in action/jumping) in some of these foal reveals and foal videos, just as a little extra reminder of how we got here, why these horses were bred. I know I can go back and look at old vlogs, but tbh your videos are so good that a lot of them have become primetime family viewing and not everyone has followed the whole journey, so a little extra recap/invitation for new people to catch up would be extra awesome. I like that it's mostly about the mommas, of course, the horse world has a long dumb history of ignoring the influence and importance of mares, but seeing the studly boys is fun as well, since it's a little hint as to part of what these babies might become.)

It links to bear as a sun bear is a mischievous species of bear, and also relates to the time when we was born (sunny hot weather), and the fact he’s a boy (son) of course! I just think it’s a lovely name that will suit him throughout his life. I’m sure whatever you decide to name him will be perfect!

I have a name idea!!!! I produced this pony named Treasure. He was a HANDFULL! His show name “Europe’s Dear Treasure” and the nickname we called him was “Iter” which we think means ‘beloved journey’ in Latin. I just wanted to share this because it’s been such a long journey with Bear and now the end of the tunnel is here and healthy. Just a thought tho!
