Bryni is like every mother with a rambunctious toddler, will take any chance to palm them off on someone else for a break 😆 Hope little Brego's legs correct themselves quickly 💙
As always, appreciate the honestly over the horses and their health conditions. And for doing so without clickbait or over-dramatization for the channel
Hi Meg😊 So enjoyable watching foals playing especially with their little fluffy tails straight up😂 Good to hear Brego's improving👍 Prayers for him to continue improving toward perfection with only physio🙏
Both foals are adorable! Honestly every time I see Brego's little face I immediately think of Valegro. He's so stinking cute (and I hope he is your 'Valegro')
@@fleetskipper1810 it’s taken me a few weeks to realize who it was, whenever I saw Brego I was like damn why does it feel like I’ve known him years haha (figuratively obviously - not trying to be creepy hah)
Awh!!! Both foals are so beautiful and Moose is hilarious. Both Bear and Bryni are great mothers. Hope Bregos legs keep improving. Can we have an update on Ettie please. Best wishes to you all.
We used to get this quite a lot in our calves, and found that it was a vitamin D deficiency in the cow. Some of the poor calves were so knuckled over that they were walking basically on their knees. We managed to get them back to normal again by supplementing with apple cider vinegar from memory. It’s in Pat Coleby’s book “healthy cattle naturally” but not too sure if the same would apply to horses.
I love that you are so proactive with your horses and their foals. I recently watched a video of a rescue who had to do a surgery on a 1 yr old for a club foot that should have been fixed well before now. And while they were able to facilitate the correction, it was just that much harder because the original owner didn't take care of it from the beginning. She is doing so much better but still. I have so much respect for you because you are so responsible with your equines.
I had a gorgeous silver with white foal Celtic Cross and he too had this-he grew out of it-we had to control grain and he grew on milk grass and good hay. I so love your babies-oh Brego is my dream foal-my foal's mom was a yellow line back dun . He was gorgeous -all silver black and white !!!! I love baby everything !! I am for babies !!! Have fun-you are all laughing so joyfully. I love it !! Deb congratulations !!!
Its commonly known as 'over at the knee' but he definiatly looks a lot better now then the foal reveal vlog, hes absolutely gorgeous 😍and you doing a supper job making sure he gets all the care he needs for it
And at least over at the knee is better for soundness than back at the knee, especially for jumpers. But hopefully he will be straightened out by the drugs and physio and be perfect .
Aweee Brego was such a good little boy with the vet. They were so funny in the field I was laughing away at them if they keep running up and down like that his legs should sort themselves out Meg. Try not to worry too much I’m sure he’ll be fine. Tfs😎🏇😎
Glad he's coming along so well! I've seen some extreme cases on insta, so much hassle and difficulty. Good to know Brego will have a mostly normal time of being a foal, besides his little PT, etc.. I'm sure you're a bit 🤦🏻♀️ over having to follow the foal that already has too much drive and not enough draw, while the other one keeps on being the other way around! Hopefully you won't have to do that kind of thing a lot, lol. Love seeing Bear enjoying motherhood so much, and Bryn is living the dream 😂❤ I hope we can get a yearling update sometime soon? Has Millie found a new home yet? And I'd love to see Ari soon. I know he's working on growing and all but he's my favorite 💖
Brego is gorgeous. For what it’s worth, I’m a colour genetics nerd and seeing his little face in the stable….he may actually be your little dark buckskin “chocolate dun”. Maybe it’s just fading foal coat… but there’s some very creamy looking hairs around his muzzle. Whatever colour he is, he’s beautiful and well worth the wait with Bear.
He's over at the knee , he'll be alright ! 😊😊 It happens unfortunetly but he's young enough to correct it ! best of luck !! ❤ Moose has really filled out to be beautiful !!!
Awh, that foal is just so precious, also just wanted to say , i am a really big fan and i really find u a big inspiration, thank u for posting alot too x ❤
He might have that tightening, but have you noticed that Moose does not catch up to him? Also, did you see that acceleration when he was running alone? He is fast!!!!
☘️: Is the side effect of causing gray-stained teeth 🦷, which can occur when Tetracycline is given to young children also happens when given to goals❔🤨❓
I had one that was a bit over in the knee, and lax in the hind but she straightened all up, and no issues. It did take a few months for the fronts to settle though. It's amazing how they come good.
I have seen this a few times. He looks like exercise and time will do the trick to me. He has improved significantly since birth and that is a very good sign. Has his sire produced this before? I have followed Dante since you bred Bear and his foals are def good at what they are intended to do!! If this is not a genetic issue it is an even better sign he will straighten with time and exercise. Moose is his best therapist lol!!!
You always do what's best for the horse. That's what I love about you and your channel, Meg. You tell it like it is. And many of us appreciate that. And only being out 2 or so degrees now, that drug will work marvelously for Brego. Did the Vet also recommend you do those stretching exercises with him? I'm curious? Best Regards from your friend, the Retired Paramedic and Horse Trainer in Ontario, Canada, Jenn. 💖 🇨🇦🇬🇧
Actually, in a classically correct extended trot, the leg is not totally extended as you often see today; they look like they are throwing their legs forward, but have a little curve in it which shows a lack of tension.
Oh no! Hope he gradually straightens, but I know, as always, you are doing exactly what he needs and Brago, get well soon xx p.s MOOOOOOOOOOOOOSSEEE!!!
How are his legs now? I had a beautiful black colt foal born last week and his front legs are back at the knee. The stud are advising restricting turn out and just giving him time, they aren’t worried about doing any stretches or injections like for Brego. 😢
moose is going to be so funny to ride too!! I reckon brego will have a bit of bears spookiness but more confidence and less unpredictable. playing together will be so good for both of them :)
I find it hilarious because 2 out of our 3 mares and foals this year go out together currently and just like bear taking care of moose and brego our mare celestia takes care of her foal dory and her sisters foal mocha while his Mammy is off living her best life😂
it doesnt relax muscles, thats not how it helps, its an antimicrobial which is why you took it for acne, and it may help relax tendons in foals but the mechanism isnt that well understood and im not a DVM
Dear Meg, Do you have any tack/saddle pads that you just love so much that you don't want it ruined? I admittedly have one blue pad that is just so perfect that I don't ever use it😂😳🙄.
The 2 mums are half sisters (same dad), the foals have different Dads - Moose's sire is a Welsh D called Harry I think, and Brego's is the warmblood Don Dante
Welcome to breeding to warmbloods, if you keep doing it, get used to contracted and lax tendons, they fix fairly easily but it's still annoying lol Can't wait to see these guys with you in a few years!
Bryni has the scandinavian upbringing style. Let your child roam and explore, have freedom to know when and what is too far. Climb trees, use knives and learn to use your body's motor skills while roaming wild. I hope Brego's legs turn out well. I must say, that I feel like he's the little prince with lots of expectations on his shoulders, whereas Moose (you couldn't find a nicer name?) is the common boy. I like them both, but I root for Moose. Also excited for what colour he'll turn out in the end.
Sounds like Bear is passing on her worries while Brynnie is passing on her confidence. Hope all turns out well with Brego!
We haven’t seen Ettie for a while, I would love to see a video with her
Funny isn't it you'd expect the foals to be the other way around, Bear's foal to be mad as a box of frogs, and brinny's to be quiet
Was saying this to mum today 😂
Sending all our love 💜🙂
Omg I love fei
Dang I thought this wouldve been higher up but slay
Bryni is like every mother with a rambunctious toddler, will take any chance to palm them off on someone else for a break 😆 Hope little Brego's legs correct themselves quickly 💙
Brego and moose are so cute but we all need an ettie update!!!!!
whenever I hear foal toe extensions, my mind instantly goes to like a foal just chilling getting some acrylics and chatting to the nail technician😂
Lol 😂😂
As always, appreciate the honestly over the horses and their health conditions. And for doing so without clickbait or over-dramatization for the channel
Aww bless him, hope Brego is soon uncrinckled. Moose is just so funny....what a little hooligan 😂😂😂
❤❤

Both foals are adorable! Honestly every time I see Brego's little face I immediately think of Valegro. He's so stinking cute (and I hope he is your 'Valegro')
THAT is who Brego reminds me of! You are so, right! I just couldn’t figure it out.
@@fleetskipper1810 it’s taken me a few weeks to realize who it was, whenever I saw Brego I was like damn why does it feel like I’ve known him years haha (figuratively obviously - not trying to be creepy hah)
Yes! Moose is clearly the eventing type with his derring do and Brego=tiny Valegro!
Awh!!! Both foals are so beautiful and Moose is hilarious. Both Bear and Bryni are great mothers. Hope Bregos legs keep improving. Can we have an update on Ettie please. Best wishes to you all.
Brynie is like whatever he'll come back , moose is going to be a sassy boy ! 😂 there's nothing more beautiful then watching foals play !!

We managed to get them back to normal again by supplementing with apple cider vinegar from memory. Both colts are so gorgeous, hope Brego's legs come right.
I pray all goes better and stays well with Brego. 😍 What an amazing foal he's already turned out to be. Can t wait to watch him grow up!
Brego is so sweet! I love his little character!! I hope all is well with the other horses. Can’t wait to see the foals lives!!
Bless little Brego, what a little super star xxxx Bear is the best Mumma and Auntie! Moose is a loon! Love him ❤
He'll be ok, they will stretch more and straighten out on their own and the rear ones will strengthen and become normal😊
Love those little cuties so much! Hugs to you and Hobbit!

That's a cute way of getting your steps in though chasing foals hahaha
Hope everyone’s ok❤ The foals are so cute🤍

So stressful! 😮 thanks for the baby updates, tho - love seeing all your ponies but the baby ponies are extra special! Need an Ettie one soon! ❤❤❤
Hope Brego is doing better now! The foals are so cute ❤❤
we live close by in the same village we see your horses all the time we love Mose he is so nice he lets us pat him no cap
Lucky! Say hi to him for me ❤
I definitely noticed he had a little bit of contracted tendons. Poor bud.
Sending all the love and hugs to this little boy and happy recovery ❤
With Bear around to keep Brego running, I expect he'll be perfect in no time! And you will have got a lovely walk to stretch your own legs!
So glad hes doing ok. Sounds like his body is just taking its sweet time. Everything about him is chill
I'm not even a horse expert but in the first-days videos I thought his front legs looked a bit wonky. Gorgeous guy, I hope he comes through alright.
The smoky black colt will be a black that fades heavily in the summer and the black colt will be standard black.
I love the fact that Meg is so interested in what is happening
Love watching the photo shoot of the foals
Beautiful pics of Brego and Moose ❤
Thank you for sharing this issue with your foal. I am sure he will just grow out of it perfectly.

You're the best horsey mama❤🐎🐴❣️❣️❣️
Thank you so much.
They are so cute!! It will be fun how to see how Brego's personality developes. He is so nervous now hope he doesnt carry that to adulthood like Bear.
I hope everything is ok! Love you Meg ❤️
