Nothing more exciting than a project boat. I'd be tempted to get it craned out. We bought a semi derelict working boat and that first firing of the old Bolinder engine and the trip from London to Uxbridge was unforgettable. Them were the days!

Yeah. In previous vlogs I do talk about it. It's got water in the crank.
Yer I remember but I wasn't sure if it's a non starter or a rebuild great engine but like everything expensive 😅
It would be a great boat to lift out the water and strip completely and rebuild.
Depends on money 💰 bit it will look great in time.
Uou done a great job getting one engine fully running and not hot running. Nice.
The other engine has water in the sump.
He's already painted the boat and he's refitting it.

I'm not sure what that boats worth. It's got a steel Hull. I'm sure when it's been refitted, it should fetch over 20 to 30k..Thanks for watching..👍👍
Our old classic boat was a difficult boat to steer too. You are constinously correcting, where as our narrowboat was so much more direct, once we got the hang of opposite way with tiller . Thats a lovely old boat and soiunds good. Look forward to seeing it when all done up.
I know what you mean. My first boat was a cruiser, and I was continuously correcting the steering. It was a pain to steer.

Can see why it is such a moment getting to a place you wanted to go for so long. At a lock or bringing your first boat to a place where you can work on it.

i think it will be a lovely boat when it's finished , it just needs plenty of tlc , it certainly goes well , Even on one engine , wow , brilliant , i don't think you'll need two engines on those rivers .

Great to see that old boat working and good luck to Leon's mate in putting it back together. That's a lot of doing-upping, but lucky for him that you're so handy with an engine. Funny that you couldn't get over being inside a boat when it's moving... inside! 😯😄
🤣🤣 it was weird driving inside and steering from the center. I'm so used to steering from the back in the rain. 😖

A twin drive boat is difficult to drive with just one engine, it just pushes it along at an angle because the props are offset rather than in the center. The engine sounded sweet Will. 👍👍 well done buddy 👏👏
