I've lived in Ocala my entire life I'm 40 years old I install the air conditioning at sunkool what this man is telling you is the truth. I can tell you first hand about the builders in Ocala and many of the models of homes are well built. And you forgot to mention the average of 233 days of sunshine ⛅🤗
Are you still doing realty? What are the odds of getting a home with little to 0 down in Ocala, maybe like a USDA loan, and how easily could I get a decent paying job after moving? I want a house, but don't really have anything to put down. Really want out of Mississippi
I am a realtor in Ocala, yes. As long as your credit is decent, you make an income and you’ve never owned a home, you absolutely can get a USDA easily. You’d want about $1500 or so reserved for an earnest money deposit and home inspection, but other than that you don’t have to have money. You would also have to find a seller willing to pay your closing costs, which is tough in the current market - but not impossible. Not sure your industry, but have a lot of jobs here - a lot of distribution center, warehouse, retail and restaurant work.
I’m wondering about the weather in your area. Do you get tornadoes? Does it rain daily in the summer? Do you get residual high winds from hurricanes? I am pondering a move to Marion County in two years. Thanks ! I’m liking that T-shirt👍🏻
Hi, Claire. Tornados are rare and it does typically rain on summer afternoons. We are one of the safest spots in Florida for hurricanes because we are right in the center. By the time the hurricane reaches land, we don't get anything like the coast. My wife has lived here her whole life and has never experienced a devastating hurricane for this area. Have you ever visited the area before?
Property taxes on average are under $1500 per year. Home insurance I'd average around $1,000/ year. All of this will depend on exact location and coverage, of course. Car's going to range a lot. For a newer midsize car or suv...~$100 or less. No vehicle inspections!

Great way you present it, consumers aspects towards the end of the video great touch !!

I'm considering a move, but I own a 1950sq ft home, 2 car garage and fenced 6 lots, and my mortgage is $560 a month. Doesn't sound so appealing now...
Where you located Jack?
Dude, great T-shirt.
Thank you!
