Is Richmond Heights a good neighborhood or a safe neighborhood in Ocala Please be honest because I am thinking about buying a house there the house looks good but the neighborhood kind of looks a little on the getto side
Everyone’s perception is SO different when it comes to this kind of thing. I don’t even recognize the name of the neighborhood you’re mentioning, is there a house for sale in there? I always recommend to my clients to visit Ocala before moving here so they can get an idea of what they like and dislike. Ocalapd.com has a great crime mapping tool you can explore too.
Don't believe it Ocala taxes are crazy insane I purchased a home for $162,000 my first year property tax was $900 and change second year it jumped 120% to $2,200 my property taxes went up my neighbor across the street pay $600 a year cuz his house was purchased 25 years ago taxes are not even for everyone
Correct if you bought a new home. Taxes are usually in arrears. If you are 65 or older you get a tax break. Home re tax are assessed on the value of the home. I live in IL. I pay 7.8k annually for a 2535 sq foot home. My neighbors home look the same but my home is 400 sq larger so I pay 1500 more a year than them. We all moved in within a year of each other.
