Great Video!!! Thanks For Info. I’m a Trucker, That’s Starting School For Diesel Mechanics in August. Overall goal is to eventually start my diesel mobile service. Thanks Again Brother.
Start out simple , there is money in tire work , air leaks , and electrical lighting issues . Don’t nickel and dime customers : No after hours rates No weekend rates No shop supply charges No travel time expenses No fuel surcharges Customers like simple rates , by the hour , leaving and returning . Buy liability insurance .
I want to know if you need a DOT and MC number or what’s up with the insurance? I’m sure you need the LLC but I’ve heard you need special permits to go service trucks that are pulled over at dot scales. I’m thinking about opening up a roadside service, I am currently in Trucker with two trucks on the road with the profits are not worth all the effort and the cost of repairs are extremely high. What would you take home as a roadside service owner ?
