Here is the one thing nobody’s considering. He said he is also working for Ars. So that is two companies given him runs. A lot of times you will get a call from one company and then get a call from the other company for a different call that’s in the same area. You might only be a mile away. if it only takes you 30 minutes to do both runs, then you made $35 for half an hours worth of work.
I signed up with Allstate in April this year, and so far I like it. I wish the pay was $30 or more per call. I make about 3 or 5 calls a day on average that's about $350 - $ 400 a week. My question to you. if a customer has a broken lug nut or can't find their lug security key, would they pay you for showing up? or did they cancel the request? Thanks for making this video!!
If the customer is gone on arrival or you show up and they dont need your help its a Goa.If you touch their vehicle diagnose it or use any equipment whether you complete it or not thats a service cost
Just don't use jumper cables because if something goes wrong guess what your held responsible for it as a independent contractor thats why they ask you for a copy of your insurance policy.
The orientation video mentioned damage liability, do you have liability insurance? How do you prevent someone from blaming you for pre existing damage to their vehicle?
Yes. Be careful putting them back on. Start threading it back on with your hands to avoid cross threading and maybe use a torque stick or a torque wrench.
I’ve been doing all state for the past 2 months. I can never figure out when they are going to pay. It seems to be real random. I guess it takes time to process some of the paperwork? It would be nice if there was a set date.
