LOVE WILL FIND A WAY
You wanna get close to me
The feeling so clear
But I need some time to see
Vision through my tear
You wanna get next to me
I need your intrusion
I don't need to be
Blinded by confusion
Here is my heart
Waiting for you
Here is my soul
I eat at chez nous
Love will find a way
If you want it to
Love will find a way
Love will find a way for me and you
Love will find a way
Love will find a way
Love will find a way
Love will find a way
So you want to get over me
And that's how you feel
Everything you want to be
Seems so unreal
I want to be all of you
And that's the confusion
It's so hard for me
To draw a conclusion
Here is my heart
Waiting for you
Here is my soul
I eat at chez nous
Love will find a way
If you want it to
Love will find a way
Love will find a way
Love will find a way
If you want it to
Love will find a way
Love will find a way
Love will find a way
I believe that there's a way
If you want it to
Will love find a way
Love will find a way
Will love find a way
Love will find a way

RIP the three members of Yes
Peter Banks (July 15, 1947 - March 7, 2013), aged 65
Chris Squire (March 4, 1948 - June 27, 2015), aged 67
Alan White (June 14, 1949 - May 26, 2022), aged 72
You will be remembered as legends.
❤️
...that made me/makes me really sad. It's wrong that these guys are gone... I'm happy that Chris and Alan are together again - but I wish they were here instead. C'est la vie I guess....

The amount of talent in this band is immeasurable!
I know time marches on, but it sure is hard to hear "memories", like these, and not get emotional. You know, you'll never get anything, like this, again.
Papacitossss y talentosossss
I saw them twice and I agree with you totally.

Can't hear this song enough. This is one of their best songs!!!
You all should read the wiki on Trevor Rabin, a professional piano and keyboardist and guitar. He wrote this song and Owner and many of their finest albums and hits, multiple solo albums before and after and numerous film and major athletic themes and songs for the olympics and major American sports. Still going strong. amazing musical talent, this man
You are correct. But, Close to the Edge, is still my favorite. And Big Generator is one of my very favorites. I wish Chris Squire was healthy and still with us. My favorite top bassists of all time. But I grew up listening to Yes and I am 63. Still got that Rock spirit deep inside.

Yes, it is. Yes, indeed.
@@scottcollins5060 Keep rocking. Never get old. Stay spirited!
Beautiful song. Listened to it every day while in the hospital 23 days due to covid, lung collapsed. I made it thru, and returned back home with my beautiful wife and kids. Thank you Jesus.
Your lungs did NOT collapse because of a natural virus...
Glad your on the road to recovery. Hopefully this wasn't the only yes song that you listened to
Of course not, it was the one song my sister sent me while I was in the hospital. She knew that I have always Loved Yes.
Yes has a special place in my Heart.
Thank you doctors.
So many Yes fans dislike Tevors music but this Album made the band famous and put them in the limelight of 80s music.
It was another successful chapter, but don't be ridiculous. 90125 sold about three times as many copies as Big Generator, its singles and music videos were way more popular, and Trevor Horn's production was far more influential.
1987
Fragile made them famous over a decade before this.
I always loved Yes and looking at Trevor Rabin in this video adds to the ambiance.
A little bit handsome...
The Jon/Trevor/Chris vocal triptych is 👌
The multilayered harmonies, no auto tune, with amazing instrumentality always speaks to the human spirit. Always will.
I got a 12 speaker system with 3 sub woofers and 4 tri axles running off each 1. I dont think its possible for any more sound to be produced !!!!
Its so surprising that they weren't bigger back then!

Old Timers like me who were around in 1972 for the YES classic “Roundabout” don’t usually think later songs from a group measure up to the originals but “Love Will Find A Way” takes the prize. It is a truly Timeless Classic!!
"Changes" is also pretty amazeballs.. you have to agree
Well said..your right..
The album 90125 re-started their career. "Owner of a Lonely Heart", "Changes", "It Can Happen", and "Leave It" were all big hits in 1983-84.
At 57 years old I'm just realizing how awesome Yes really was/is.
agree
It reached #30 on the Billboard Hot 100 in late 1987 and was #1 for 3 weeks on the U.S. Mainstream Rock chart.
nothing wrong with being stuck in the 80's
Yep, nothing wrong.
I'll definitely 3rd that. Rich in great bands and tunes.
low point in my life was in 1980s middle late
Nope nothing at all. But maybe, just maybe, if this quality of Pop/Rock music were to ever come back... all us Gen X, Baby Boomers, etc. would listen to more of today's music. I won't hold my breath though.
That's what I say !!!
I love all eras of Yes, and this is easily a top ten Yes song for me. Commercial, but the melody, guitar, and vocals are amazing.
HHHWAYYYY
They didn’t write it but they are amazing.
Trevor Rabin wrote it. The guy playing guitar and singing. It’s not a cover.
RIP Alan White. We had a restaurant at college called Chez Nous in the ‘80s, so we always threw that line around. Song takes me back.
I know purist Yes fans think that these songs were a sell out in the prog rock years, but Trevor Rabin saved Yes by infusing a rock edge with vocals that can't be matched as far as harmonies go in their earlier stuff, as Anderson and Squire frame Rabin's voice pretty darned perfectly. Steve Howe could easily have stepped into this song and added his clear melodic playing. This was the "New Yes" and they did well to carry on the band to a whole new generation.
very well said jeff
shawn noble I'll second that.
No argument here.
no no, trevor horn was the producer, nothing to do whit Rabin
Squire was looking for something difrent, and since Wakeman leave them, they need to get something new and at this time Howe was on ASIA. so they need fresh and get Rabin. the resolt was 90125 and big generator.
Trevor Rabin was on the top 2 producers on the 80´s ( i´m a camera, video kill radio star MTV hit) and so on. the right person to get them something difrent.
Since yes is not a group, more like a project, they will never died, the next step is to see their sons playng on YES and get us all this magician music and momments..................... long live
Trevor Horn only partially produced this album. This is definitely a Rabin production. Sounds very much like a Mutt Lange production, who was a contemporary/mentor to Rabin.
What the heck did I do removing this from my 80's playlist? I'm putting it back right now.

Un clásico entre los clásicos de la época de oro de la música rock.
Trevor Rabin brought YES back to life. Period.
Agreed
No? I think his addition was welcome but it's also a apparently a preview of a power struggle in the band.
Trevor Rabin is garbage.

Loved this song first time I heard it back in 1987. It will always have a special significance for me. I remember walking across campus listening to my generic Walkman and this came on. I was getting over a painful break-up and this just resonated. Love did find a way, I got married a couple of years later. That was over 27 years ago and I'm still happily married. Cheers!

Funny. Exact same situation for me. Had a long term relationship that was going to shit right when this came out. Also while I was in College. Shared experiences.
Exactly.....good thing it didn't work out, she wasn't right for me. Didn't know that then...but things have a way of working out. And I still love the song.
55, although not sure about the adjective in my case...
Here's one of the best pure rock performances of a killer song by one quite obviously superior bands of the 70's and 80's.
Trevor Rabin is such an underrated and underappreciated guitarist. This song is beautiful to listen to and crank up. I haven't heard this in probably 15-20 years, and now I listen to it everyday in the car.

big love to all of you guys and your music. your generation supported and created some of the best sounds in history. but don’t be mistaken on who is listening. i’m only 19 and i’m right here listening with y’all. we have your music it’s just a matter of exposure. people my age need to listen to this stuff it has major soul. and maybe some of you need to listen to our music as well. it’s not one sided we should all be able to share with each other. each generation has their sound 💫
I'm 60 and I hear ya. This band came out of the 60s and remained relevant in the 80s. Many of them added their unique sounds to the that decade and helped make it great. They're all old now, but some of them show no signs of quitting.

One of the injustices of the music charts. Why this didn't go top 10 is beyond knowing. The melody of this song will keep you humming it all day.
Yes did not release all that many singles (nine from 1971 to 1987) as they weren't really a singles band. But when they did it was a real treat to hear them on the radio.
This track did top the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart, though.

This is one of the greatest tunes I have ever heard! A example of Yes's ability to crank out a great tune that totally sounds different than any tune that has ever been released . I forgot about this tune then came across it yesterday and I had not heard it in years . It blew me away . I must of played it 30 times and found it hard not to come back and listen again and again. ABSOLUTELY A GREAT SONG !
This song gets lost because it came out not long after and gets overshadowed by "Owner of a Lonely Heart", a song that I don't particularly care for other than for the nostalgia that it triggers in me.

Saw YES in the late 70's. They came into the Hardee's in my hometown I worked at for a burger, traveling on I-80 in Illinois to Chicago.
+NightOwl 64 That's odd. I thought they were vegetarians in the 70's.
I'm so jealous
They were eating the Hardee's models
They ARE vegetarians. NightOwl 64 is full of shit.
Spock Johnson I don't think they are anymore. I remember Jon Anderson discussing that he grew out of his vegetarian lifestyle, but kept up with a healthy diet.
I had no idea until today that Chris Squire had passed. I just happened to want to watch this video for some reason and read the comments referring to his passing. Progressive Rock has lost one of its true legends. R.I.P. Chris. You were the best.
Just reading it myself today
one gentleman!!
Listened to YES in middle school and years later still love their songs!
The most straightforward rock song that Yes ever did
Trevor Rabin's influence, no doubt. I think it works brilliantly.
Try Hold on, it's even more of a rocker, I think.
