I have a idea. Do not patch it. Add it as a feature that would require set amount of
Continue.
A set amount of influence per additional item added. Following items that are normally used for a particular facility in a base. Possible to add a character trait/s to reduce the cost or enable the feature.
Using a "friendly bug" to make a "new" ability or feature to the game. Just a thought.
If workable (if). Add to the game from this glitch as something for the game as some sort of a minor feature. Charge influence at set amounts for each additional mod. With a maximum 2 3. Even 5. But must be related to the facility in question. Just a thought.

1 note after further testing you can put mods with actions on other facilities, I have a workshop with biochem station, healing foam, and pill creation lol this gets better and better lol

yeah I noticed that , I also noticed you actually can put mods up to 2 activate able on facilities... Like I have the xbox and minibar on my infirmary and both options or there its funny thanks again Kyler 👍🏆😀
I thought of another glitch that may work you maybe able to pass the survivor limit by recruiting two red talon survivors when at 8 survivors by doing the commands before they both locate a survivor and then after canceling a enclave project to get them to join your base you maybe able to reach 13 survivors but I haven't tested it quite yet

Yeeap, also works on PC. You just gotta mash the movement key and your interaction key at the same time. May take a few tries but it works.

Use meta analysis in the officer quarters to speed up build speed times and action speed times. Installs would go faster.
Yeah behind the red talon workshop I think people are sleeping on how great the red talon office quarters are I think the red talon workshop and red talon office quarters are the best of the red talon buildings 👍🏆😀

Hey I know this is a silly and sorta irrelevant question, but did you notice that after installing multiple mods in a facility, if the in-game models of those mods showed up near that facility? Like you know, when you install the antenna in the command center, how you can walk up to the command center with a character and you actually see the antenna there?
But sweet Jesus man... Multiple white noise machines and 10 freakin meds a day from ONE hydroponics... That's just ridiculous!!!

and you can have 2 activate able mods on 1 facility, I have ammo hand guns and ammo rifles on my command center can cake all those bullet types. I have xbox and minibar on my infirmary lol so many funny things

lol I like luxury barracks especially with a white noise machine its +25 total free moral 👍
@@mattskx Most of the people prefer Lounge. But both of them offer same (15) morale boost. And luxury Barracks offers 5 beds compared to 2 beds in lounge.
So unless we are in container fort, Luxury Barracks will be more useful.

Actually there is a few ways to play the same version forever. Play offline. If you really need to go online then there is another way to prevent updates to State of Decay 2 (SoD2).
I play on the Xbox One (original). So you need to make a copy of the game. Copy SoD2 to an external drive and then for future uses connect this drive only when offline. Then in the future if the game gets updated. delete the game (internal drive). Go offline. Connect the external drive and copy SoD2 on the internal drive. Disconnect the external drive. Keep offline and play the game.
Since Xbox does not allow to personally backup are save files. You should be careful not to play different version of the game because you could potentially corrupt your save game. An example here would be to play a version of the game, then going back to an older version might corrupt the save files. I have not experienced this problem because I used another Xbox account for testing. This way I protected my main save files.
I did this trick so I could play the first version of SoD2 from the physical game Disk a year ago. I copy (or move) my current version of the game to my external drive. Then disconnect the external drive. Deleted the game (internal drive). Went offline and installed the disk version. Then played the game. Also to protect my save files, I played on a second account. This was quite an experience to see all the differences between versions.

Still works , i tested it after the last update. Its just not easy to do you have to have NO FACILITY installed and the facility you are moving from.
So say Facility 1 is the Command Center and you want to put a next work dish on a garden thats 1 spot to the Left. The command center facility spot must have NOTHING on it, then you open in and as soon as you hit the facility buttonn on the command cetnter you hit the dpad left or the left analog stick left.
If dont correct the window will say its the command center but show the garden for the picture and you simply then hit the facility button and it should access what facility you want to install, which would be anything that a command center can install.
So remember you can only install facility mods the original facility you come from can install, If say you went from a garden to a workshop the network dish would not be available because you cannot install a network dish on a garden, it would only should garden facility mods for the workshop.

it works just have both facilities with no mod on it, then samething just hit the direction of the facility you want to get the mod and the button that views the facility.

Can someone explain what happens when I do the facility mod installation trick? Do I lose the mod or does the mod gets duplicated? Does the mod activate along with its base buffs or only the base buffs?
it no different than adding a mod to a facility, it does whatever the mod normally does , it doesnt change what it does.
Stays in your inventory just as in use like any mod put on a facility.

no I think if you have them installed already will be fine but once you remove them wont be able to put them back that is they can even fix this lol

You can try do it but im pretty sure its capped at 8 same as heartland, not even supposed to get 8 in standard game but ive maxed com center to 3 and had 2 network dishes and a satellite dish installed and it still stopped me at 8.

You are right 100% I cant tell you how many bugs ive found and much as i complain and rage (it is youtube lol) I report these bugs I push to get them fixed and this update alone 3 of the 5 I reported where fixed , but it always seems like 1 step forward and 2 steps back lol

I'd be extremely surprised if this gets fixed. There are so many more important things that would take priority.
Yeah the prestige cap definitely needs to be fixed 1st it was one of the things they bragged about with the new Jug Edition and it didn't even work.
That and I think they need to readjust the daybreak point system to add multipliers instead of the garbage 25, 50, 75 or whatever useless bonuses especially if the cap is supposed to be 99,999 that and im getting less points now for solo daybreak runs than before which makes it even worse.

Awesome!!! I didn't even know about this, either! Too, bad the STUPID windows store won't let me DL SoD2 AGAIN!!! If, I can DL, I can play, but, if I quit, it needs repair, can't DL, again! So sick of it. Haven't been able to play in 3 days.
I've reformatted SSD's, reset the store, cleared cache. Next will be reinstalling win 10, I guess.

So you could have 2 +2 outposts mods installed and a red talon with hacking for +1 so that would give you 9?
nah 8 is the cap as I installed 2 network dishes and 1 signal antenna with command center 3 and it stopped me at 8 which is the max from heartland so im assuming is a hard cap set in regular game also I was hoping to go above it but it stopped me at 8 I should have 9.

BlitzVGC I do this... it’s kind of a habit from playing sod first year. They claim that they fixed the safe zone issue but they havent, even if you make a super safe zone around your base they will spawn there.

Bro could you add a signal booster to the watch tower because it is right beside the command center
you can add anything that the facility you are moving from can use.
Example I have Command Center selected I can use any mod that a command center can accept, so now I do the trick and move to any other facility and it works you can then add a signal booster to anything within range of the Command center combinations are almost endless and only limited to what you can switch between.
Ive add signal booster to infirmaries, storage, workshops it all depends on what in range when you do the trick 👍🏆😫
mattskx would it work on a watchtower though? I think that is one of the ones that doesn’t let you put a facility mod on.

Where do you get signal boosters?
Network Trader which is completely random when and if they every show up.
Ive gone through entire playthrough without the network trader showing up once.

outpost give 2 beds, also there are survivor traits like sleeps on ground -1 bed, red talon soldier can have vigil guard -1 bed and sleeps in shifts hero bonus which gives 3 beds.
Also the sleep psychology 5th skill can give +2 beds ... many ways 👍

@Einar Kristjánsson: There is also a random enclave boon available called _Bed and Breakfast_ which will give you two additional beds as well.

If its a glitch or Bug that the players enjoy or gives us some fun UL will patch it.

I didn't understand how you get 8m
you cant do this anymore. But before when this worked you could put a satellite dish and an antenna on multiple facilities which would easily get you to 8. But they patched this.
So best you can do is 7 , fully upgraded command center, red talon solider with hacking skill, and the network dish.

lol yeah me to my friend if my memory serves me it was patch 3.0 that introduced that.... then they patched the skywalk which was another fun thing they always patch the fun stuff, still no answer on if they patched the super speed NPC running so we cant loot them... Which I totally still can just had to adjust my tactics a bit lol

@@mattskx hmm. Well it was working when I tried it a few days ago. I did the exact same thing. No mod on either facility, go to command center, go to mod list, go to signal booster and press down and A at exact same time (same base as in your video) pointer goes to storage but still installs in command center instead. I have tried with multiple controllers and even had my friend test it on his after watching your video. As I said. It was working using this exact same process but now it isn't
I understand its not working for you for some reason but its not patched.
Maybe you have too many things on the 1 facility.
Try taking all the mods off command center and storage and try again.
Ive had it happen a few times where it looked like it wasnt working.
If you try and do this during a facility action like food boast for example it will mess it up or any facility action completes while trying to do this just 1 thing that can break it.
but like I said I literally just tested it and it works so its not patched.
Try a new community maybe yours is bugged, it is a glitch after all cant promise the results lol But its not patched.

Hey Moon 👍 Yeah I had the max 9999 before the Jug update so that put me at 16999 with cause i bought ultimate edition, daybreak, heartland,
So I thought awesome it really will go to 99,999. Then I rejected a red talon, thats why im down to 14, 279 i think? and it didnt refund.
the I won daybreak, got no points....
So then I did an offline test, bought a bunch of prestige points, so I got below 9999 then played day break got back to 9999 then called a red talon in and rejected it got back to 9999 so something wierd the update allowed a 1 time past 9999 but now i cant even get back to 16,999 UL acknowledged this and hopefully is fixed in April update.

Nah its up and staying up it will be interesting to see if they choose to try and patch this instead of the actual issues like the prestige cap, super speed hurt runners , can run full speed with no stamina , certain legacy pool survivors crashing the game, survivors in legacy pool that saved with blood plague dying soon as you start a new community with them just to name a few.
They had a patch in the works before Jug Edition was even released I seriously doubt this with be patched in april its not gonna be easy and could break putting mods on facilities so they would have to be super careful in how they would even try to patch this lol
Well they do happen to patch stuff that make players happy over fixing the stuff that make us mad
that is true, they always seem to fix the fun bugs rather than the bugs that make us angry lol so well see what they do here lol
