- Everyone knows Pseudo-Legendary Pokémon, but the only thing that's cooler than Pseudo-Legendary Pokémon is SHINY Pseudo-Legendary Pokémon. In today's video, I'll be visiting Pokémon Let's Go, Pokémon Sword and Shield, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, Pokémon Legends Arceus, and Pokémon Scarlet and Violet to find all 11 shiny Pseudo-Legendary Pokémon across each game, including Dragonite, Tyranitar, Salamence, Metagross, Garchomp, Hydreigon, Goodra, Kommo-o, Dragapult, Hisuian Goodra, and Baxcalibur. I like shiny hunting, but is it wrong to get Urba Mystica in unethical ways but still hunt the Pokémon legitimately. I don’t get as crazy.
What about some Legendary hunts? In their original games? Lire Suicune via Crystal, Groudon/Kyorge via Ruby/Sapphire, etc? In the older Gen games, it's always a rush to find shinies with full odds.

You forgot the Pseudo-Legendary Pokémon, Pseudowoodo, the third stage evolved form of Sudowoodo. It's literally in the name!!
RUclipsrs make this stuff seem so easy, but I didn't even know abt the shiny hunting methods of Pokemon Pearl
What is crazy is that ALL of the sword/shield shinies were square sparkles which is incredibly rare to get on all of them!
This is a common misconception. Square shinies in the wild in sword and shield are practically guaranteed. If you wanna learn more, go watch my video with the Virizion on the thumbnail.

On the topic of Pseudo Shiny Pokemon, I might the first ever person on the planet to hatch 2 shiny dreepy back to back! A week after the game came out! I still have both them in my Shield copy and both have the same date, just wish I had more ways to fully prove it but I FLIPPED OUTTTT!!
i accidentally got a shiny dragonite once by accident and another one which i didn’t catch this time while hunting shiny squirtle (I did NOT get that squirtle 😭😭🙏🙏)

Finally someone posted Pokémon sword and shield again
one time i got a dragonite without a cc in lets go, but i forgot to save then headed straight into the mewtwo fight, team was underleveled and restarted, only to discover that i lost my dragonite.
So, little fun fact for you here, I'm pretty sure that Metagross is a static encounter. Due to static encounters using true random in SWSH, static encounters are actually NOT affected by the shiny charm (which is why mons like the regis are all full-odds hunts in that game). What that means is that your Metagross was not just a first encounter shiny, but actually a FULL-ODDS first encounter shiny... with a mark!
@@ScubaShark8857 That is incorrect. Strong spawn pokemon are generated like any normal wild spawn, and aren’t actually static pokemon. They are affected by shiny charm! You’ll know if a shiny Pokemon is a static encounter if it has star sparkles more commonly than squares! (I.e. Regis, motostoke gym Pokemon, impidimp mushrooms, etc.) In this case, this metagross will always have squares.
Currently soft resetting for a shiny beldum in Pokémon unbound. Over 5000 and still going.
Why hunt in a romhack? Honestly any shiny hunting that’s not on original hardware is a waste of time

I’m actually hunting on a cartridge of said romhack with my gameboy advance sp. But most importantly Metagross is my favorite Pokémon and shiny hunting a Pokémon makes me feel more bonded too them. So being able to go through a whole Pokémon game with my favorite Pokémon as my starter especially as a shiny makes me really happy. Or at least it would if only he would just shine already 🥲

The thing that happened to you with Bagon ALSO happened to me with Shinx, at a chain of ZERO to boot! Only thing you gad happen differently was, i didn't get the zoom in on the trainer.

Flygon is still a pseudo legendary in my heart.
But the only true shiny pseudo legendaries i have are: goodra, hisuian goodra, Metagross (first sos encounter) and i could get a shiny dragapult and dragonite if i evolved my drakloak and dragonair.
What surprises me is that hydrapple and kingdra aren't pseudo legendaries. I can kinda get one because its already apart of a strange evolution path.
I forgot u can multiple of the legend birds and not just stuck with the static ones
I feel like flygon deserves to be a pseudo, it has the same typing as garchomp so they could have made it a faster, less bulky garchomp, but sadly he's stuck as a pseudo pseudo legendary

That’d be thanks to my friend who found 3 at the same time during an event outbreak.
That's my clip! I tried going for the world record of Shinies in one day using 1/200 event outbreaks (specifically Shinx because of my friends), Shiny Charm and Herba Mystica and in the same day, I ended up finding that triple Shiny spawn that day and finished catching an insane 358 of the things!! As far as I'm aware, it's the world record for one singular person. (Not a community.)
The clip is there to prove the point that SV hunting isn't much of a challenge compared to the older games. A first encounter 1/200+ event outbreak overworld Shiny Beldum isn't as exciting as a 1/1366 in battle only Shiny Metagross, you know?
Although for me, a Shiny is a Shiny and you cannot stop me from catching the same Shinies over and over again. 149 Sandshrew line Shinies with many various and harder methods, 1,397 Shinx and 103 Rellor with their event outbreaks as of writing. :D

How do you make your thumbnails? Which software do you use to edit the animations of the Pokemons when you catch a new one and you put it in it's silhouette?
I use both Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro! Lots of practice using both.

i think it means resetting before getting your encounter.

Yeah i do! Didn't think anyone would notice. I make the y-button the home button, and the + button the capture button! I use the right joycon.

Like a week ago I was completing my scarlet pokedex, since dreepy it's a Violet exclusive I transfered my dragapult from sword and breed it with a foreign ditto cuz why not, then I went afk for a bit to came back to a basket full of eggs and in my second egg i got a shiny dreepy, couldn't be happier with the son of my first dragapult of my first playtrhough of sword

Not sure if that's still a thing in sword and shield, though. When the games came out, that's how it was said to work.

In regards to ultra shinies, or square shinies as most call them, they are common on wild encounter pokemon. I did an entire video about this, titled “Why These Shiny Pokemon are IMPOSSIBLE to Find” if you’re interested in learning more.

Those Pokémon are not Pseudos! They are NOT part of a 3 stage evolution, and have a base stat total that is LESS than 600. Their BST is only 570, not 600.
