Gen 1- Joined late and couldnt get the Moltres :(
Gen 2- Stayed up all night and still couldnt get the Raikou :(
Gen 3- Spent all my herba mystica on Dragon sandwiches, had to reset over 3 shiny Axew (the entire line), and finally got my first and ONLY shiny contribution to any of these events after FOUR AND HALF HOURS: Swablu!!!!!!!.....
....Only to then have to do do raids to get more herba mystica for the Altaria. I finally get the herba mystica and as I'm making the sandwich the other Swablu is found.
AND I WOULDNT HAVE IT ANY OTHER WAY. No sleep til Lileep forever
Hopefully, the universe decides to throw you a bone next time!

I love how out of nowhere mikey mikes a character arc from trying for hours to get groudon, to switching multiple times with no success, before finally catching whismur, thus fulfilling his goal. Peak story right there.

Ada and Nora were the MVPs of the shiny hunt. Nora getting more then one shiny legendary and Ada racking in the most shiny pokemon in the video her luck was crazy.

Nora was in denial, but she was the MVP. She got a shiny legendary, a shiny mythical and a normal shiny. Other people only got 3 normal shinies or 1 (sometimes two) special shinies.

3:03 A bit of behind-the-scenes for those who didn’t watch it live: John found the second shiny Spoink right after the “old geezer brain” line, and when he did, he said “Now we have to acknowledge that I’m old.” He then decided to spin around to do another take on the shiny reaction (jeepers creepers), and that’s what gave Spoink time to move to the cliff.

These events really feel like John has managed to brought the whole Pokemon community together like it never has before. There's creators from basically every group on RUclips and Twitch getting involved. John is the hero we needed

Semi-regular TILLER viewer here. I need everyone to know he got Shiny Latias THE DAY BEFORE the event by accident and sacrificed it in case they needed it during the event. So glad he got to recliam it even if they already got it before he did.
(Also was watching this while soft reseting for Shiny Regirock and during the Shiny Registeel arc it finally showed up so. Thanks John!)
