if you transfer a star shiny into another game and transfer it back will it be the same animation?

I did the biggest eye roll of my life here... I hunted shunt virizion in the past. I go for color, not for some miniscule change like a sparkle shape. Who is even gonna notice that without someone telling them?

Can anyone answer this question for me? How many pokemon are able to spawn? And are they all at once?

Wait, that means that a random shiny I got was also impossibly lucky. I am working on a living dex so I bred a few pokemon to fill in the numbers, one of them was a Galarian Corsola. The first was normal but the other one was shiny, a square shiny. Pity that the ability is wrong but it is wild.

Without full video context surrounding a Star Shiny encounter, late 2021 is really the latest these rarities are 'accurate' as well, because it was about that point that overworld RNG manipulation in SwSh became tooled, documented and accessible. Case in point, I RNG manip'd the three Swords of Justice to be Star Shiny using a basic YT tutorial that wound up in my Recommended feed (nothing more to it than logging a string of menu animations as 0 or 1), and had no idea they were quite so rare until years later!

Oh wow I didn't even know you could get this mark in the game! I thought it was only exclusive to SwSh. Kinda weird that there's certain spots that have misty weather, I wish it wasn't that hard to get misty weather tho. Maybe I'll try this with Ralts as well since I don't even have a shiny Ralts yet in SV but I have a feeling I'm gonna be very unlucky or it might be too hard for me to do :( I guess we'll see

They should've just made the square shinies be the secret rare shinies instead of having it depend on the encounter method.

i tried to get shiny misty mark indeedee, just to get a shiny hatterene with the misty mark, i caught three shiny indeedees without the mark idk how to feel rn…☹️

Clicked on this video just to comment that I in fact do have a shiny Misty marked Ralts! Did this hunt back in January and it took about 37 phases before I got it! I’m going for one shiny of every mark and I’m only missing 20 marks! Congrats on your marked shiny!

Not a Mark, but a Ribbon. I got the Legend Ribbon on a Hisuian Typhlosion. (The ribbon you get for beating Red at Mt Silver in HGSS). You need to have either Cyndaquil or Quilava in your party while you beat Red, then transfer it up to Arceus and evolve it :) I’ve also got a Shiny Hydrapple with the Galar Champion & Tower Master Ribbon

I'm trying to Shiny and Mark Hunt a Dhelmise with the Fishing Mark. I've already caught three 3 Shiny Dhelmise, but one of them had the Uncommon Mark. I found a Shiny Magikarp, but accidentally killed it. It'd be cool if I got a Shiny Magikarp/Gyarados with the Fishing Mark, and brought it over to the Scarlet & Violet or even BDSP since the Fishing Mark isn't available in those games.

It's sucks koffing doesn't spawn there, you could've had a weezing with misty surge and "the mist walker"

I honestly had no idea these marks were so rare??? I’ve had a shiny phantump with the misty mark for a month now and I just thought it was another weather mark I hadn’t seen

I have an eevee with the misty, I’m planning on playing on my birthday on an alt with the event still loaded, to max it out. That’s also the only way to get it in a safari/sport ball since indigo wasn’t out yet.

that shiny/mark luck was insane with the ralts. too bad you couldn't get the mark for the indeedee but two shinies in one sandwich is still pretty great on it's own. definitely considering trying this out sometime
