This guy appears where he is supposed to in my copy of Shield which i beat but i started a file on Sword and got the dlc. I became champion on Sword and went to the Snowslide slope to find the watt trader in the same place but he is not there. Do i need to unlock him or something???
I've really been overlooking this guy. I saw he had the Magmarizer and Electirizer one time, but I haven't really paid enough attention to him to know that he had such a crazy variety of good items. I'll definitely be visiting him more often.
If I wasn't trying to get all Alcemie forms, I would have never even known about this watt trader. Give this man a raise, this guy sells so much awesome stuff!
Pretty nice vid! I'm still amazed nobody has made a nice little list of this Watt trader in Bulbapedia or other sites after more than a year of the Crown Tundra being out. Been looking for the "official" info on what items this dude can give, since I got the coveted Dream Ball once, but haven't managed to get another one. That got me curious if he could sell stuff like Sport, Safari, or Master Balls; and I always found interesting that you can get the "event" exclusive Milcery sweets too. Thanks for the info on this. If I ever feel like editing something in Bulbapedia (which I've never done) it'll probably be this bit of data haha.
kinda lame the battle tower berries got the watt vendor item treatment especially with the whole date changing thing there are not all that many grindy items in the game
Yup, I do mention the need for the y-comm date skip method. His trade is set for the day, and randomized each day. You cannot soft reset it in the same day for new items unfortunately.
He doesn't appear there in my game, even though the map says there's a Watt Trader at Snowslide Slope. I've spent half an hour looking for him -- where is he?
I can't really help, as I'm not sure why he isn't there. He should still be there. He is located to the north of Regigigas's Raid den, where the area starts to turn snowy. Once you're in the snowy area he's off to the far right when looking north.
Hey I noticed that you mentioned the Y-Comm method for changing dates but I’ve never heard of that before, do you think you could do a video on it if you haven’t already? Cause I know everything about this game in detail (I speedrun it lmao) and it sounds easier than the Den Exploit cause you don’t have to go to them I assume? Anyways love your videos

I'm having the exact same problem, playing Shield. This Watt Trader simply isn't there and I don't know why.

Can you soft reset his choices of items or do you have to wait a day to try again and maybe thus use the switching dates on the switch trick?

That sucks because then I have to screw with the other timed events and probably can’t just reverse the date on switch
