Haha, I’m at the Luxor again this second EDC because… (the gays 🏳️🌈 usually converge there for the Temptations Sunday pool party).
Also pro tip: most hotels like Luxor have a best match guarantee where if you find a third-party site listing the hotel reservation for a cheaper rate for the same dates and room, they’ll match it and reduce it to that same amount. I booked my room right when the future owl tickets came out and I was able to get a cheaper rate because I submitted a best match guarantee request with the screenshot of the page. This will usually only be allowed within 24 hours of the reservation. ❤️🔥

I stayed at the Conrad for 8 nights and paid 2k, last year we were at the linq for 4 nights and it was 1200. You can do boogie on a budget!

This is my first year doing VIP. Do you think it is worth it? Last year I did GA and it was still amazing.
VIP is totally worth it. Especially the Kinetic Field and Circuit Grounds VIP Areas. The quantum valley and neon garden VIP areas are connected and this year, they have an additional locker section. I take full advantage of any of the free stuff in VIP too 😅.

Hi, Muen! Thanks for watching and for the feedback! The Polo Towers have a decent location near the action in the strip. You're close to the MGM and the day/nightclubs there. And, you're close to the Tropicana and Mid-Strip Shuttle stops. However, if you're planning on driving and you want to have a short drive, you may want to look more north towards the speedway 😄.

Hey! I'm thinking about coming to this festival one of these years. My question to you is, what tips would you share for managing the traffic issue? (If I ever go, my plan would be to stay in a hotel and use the shuttle (as opposed to camping or driving).
Also, what is the difference between the regular shuttles and the premier shuttles?
Hey, TomF016! My number one tip/recommendation would be to acquire a shuttle pass. That way, you'll always have a way to get to and from the festival. The shuttle is a pretty painless, although lengthy journey. The 60+ minutes in the shuttle feels a lot longer 😅. I recommend taking the time to rest up and relax before you get to the speedway.
I recommend taking a rideshare or taxi to the speedway from your hotel on Friday, Day 1 around 5pm to get there for Opening Ceremony from 5pm-7pm. Earlier this year, shuttles didn't start until 7pm, so you wouldn't make it to the Opening Ceremony, unless you purchase the Opening Ceremony Shuttle Pass Add-On at the Strat Hotel for $10.
If you do plan on driving and you enter the parking areas from Las Vegas Blvd, stick to your right hand side of the street, until you get to Zone/Gate 3 - Brown Lot for GA Parking.
Regular shuttle is GA and has continuous departures to the festival from 7:00pm-11:30pm and continuous returns from 3:00am concluding 60 minutes after the music ends at the Kinetic Field. Shuttles do not run from 11:30pm - 3:00am.
Premier shuttle is a tier above regular. You'll be able to reserve shuttle departures times for each day. There is limited availability to reduce wait time. And you'll get a premier merchandise item.
I’m staying at The Strat for EDCLV 2024. Can anyone tell me how and when shuttle passes will be released? Are they sold by Front Gate tickets, or from the hotel itself? Thanks for the informative video, btw. Loved it!

Shuttle passes will be sold by Front Gate tickets on the same page you can buy edc passes.
Make sure you follow their instagram page and you sign up for text alerts so you get notified asap!
Booked a room at mgm (not mgm park) now I’m not sure if that was a good idea if that’s close to any shuttles 🤦🏼♀️🙈
MGM grand is near the Grand Prix shuttle stop 🙏🙏. I would estimate a 15 minute walk from the property. Or a short taxi/rideshare 😀.

Can I take an Uber to and from the Motor Speedway without purchasing a shuttle pass?
Yes you can! Ride share’s can be tricky in the way back home because of poor cellphone service, long wait times, and drivers canceling rides. Bring phone chargers and when you do have cell service, stay where you are until your ride is secured (to from a fellow headliner).
Is it best to buy the tickets early ? How expensive do they get in the fall?
It’s cheaper if you buy earlier. Up to 100-200 more expensive if you do later owl tickets closer to the event.
me and my friends purchased the premier shuttle pass and we are staying at Bally's (now renamed Horseshoe) is there any benefit for us having premier if mid strip and Bally's is the same stop for the shuttle? It is my first time going to EDC and I am unsure. Your videos are great btw. watching all of them lol
The premier shuttle stop is closer to the hotel, so the walk is shorter. The standard shuttle is separate from the premier shuttle. Only people with premier shuttle passes will be at your stop, so the volume is a lot lower than the standard shuttle stop. People with standard shuttle passes will be turned away and sent to the standard shuttle stop.
I haven't been to the Horseshoe yet, but I wanna go their and check out the remodel. I think the Arcade there is sick too. They also have a neon mini golf at the hotel. You'll definitely have a lot of fun at the Horseshoe. Outside the hotel by the strip is a cool area with lots of cheap eats and drinks.
I'm staying at Horsehoe and have premiere shuttle as well. 2nd time getting premiere shuttle.

Hey there! Thanks for watching. Yes you can buy a wristband when they go on sale later in the fall. Shuttle passes will also be available. I recommend signing up for their announcements and following the @edclasvegas instagram page so you know when tickets are on sale.

Absolutely it is. Of course, it may include sharing lodging, eating at budget friendly restaurants, ga passes & shuttles! This year they even made single day passes available for a decent price 🙂.

I'm coming from Canada... would it be best to book a vacation package (flight + hotel together, Westjet Vacations) or booking the flight and hotel separately?
Hey, Jennifer! I'm not exactly sure what would be best. However, I will say, if you do decide to stay at a casino, you can sign up for the casino rewards program to get a discount on the hotel reservation. For example, you can sign up for MGM rewards and get discounts at any of the MGM properties. Same with Caesars properties. Maybe you can compare a vacation package to booking separately based on your hotel.
