I was fortunate enough to be the witness of record for my friends' official wedding a couple years ago.
I always only tighten my wristband as wide as the widest part of my hand/wrist is. That way I can always take it off after each night, and never have to cut it. I just tuck the lose slack under my kandi and nobody knows otherwise haha.
Yes, proper kandi handshake! Can't tell you how many just skip over "unity" and go right to "respect".

Same here, I made that mistake once in my early years and had it tight on my wrist for the whole weekend 😅. And, taking it off at the end of each night is such a good feeling! I know I'm ready for rest when all my Kandi AND my wristband come off 😅.

@@ravetourguide I was taught by the same person who got me into the scene. She has been raving for like 20 years now. Glad I made friends with her and she'd been doing it for so long to show me the ropes the right way. The "Kandi Cancer" can certainly be real sometimes haha.
I will forever recommend the turquoise lot!!! To get to it, you do the route that stays on the 15 north instead of hopping on Las Vegas blvd, every year I go to that one & we never wait! We breeze right through
Oooo! Nice! I've been waiting to hear feedback on that lot. I've always hesitated to stay on the I15 due to traffic over the years. How long did it take to get to the speedway? And, how long did it take for you to exit?? I'll be sure to share the info 🤗.
@@ravetourguide I’ve done both routes of taking Las Vegas blvd and the I-15 route and taking the streets took me like 2 hours and the fwy took me like 1 hour, leaving the venue was a breeze, maybe 45mins but it’s crucial that you HAVE to miss the last set 🥲 or at the very latest, leave 45mins before the music ends or you’ll be there for 2hrs ish + (I’ve gone to edc 7 times and I’ve camped, airbnb, strip hotel, Henderson, came from every direction lol)
Where is this Turquoise lot you speak of? I always do "South Brown" lot and get out in a pretty decent enough time, maybe a 10min wait. Usually stay until the end, ESPECIALLY for this years Friday @ neonGARDEN 😎

I don’t do any of this. Got my hotel, VIP pass, already have parking squared away (it’s good to know people) 3 of my co workers are working at the medical tent (free IV), last year met security supervisor don’t have to wait in line for anything. Remember connections and who you know is what makes it better

First time just bought ga+ tickets and staying at a hotel also. Not the camp place. Any advice?
@@nickmarch3458 Nice! With GA+, be sure to take advantage of the GA+ restrooms. At each restroom area, there is a separate entrance for GA+. There are also different lines when entering the festival, sometimes with quicker lines. Definitely check out Downtown EDC, Pixel Forest, and try to enter stages from the sides, instead of straight from the center.

This my 2 EDC last time was 2017 . Can’t wait! Any suggestions on what time I should arrive to my shuttle stop?
Nice! SO much has changed and I know you're going to be blown away by all the improvements. The lighting and LED screens in particular have come a long away.
I am a big supporter of going early, early, early. Far too many times have we planned to go at a later time, only to arrive MUCH later than we originally planned. I would suggest arriving to your shuttle stop no later than 6:00 pm each day. That way you get one one of the first shuttles to the speedway.
If you're willing to spend the extra cash, I would even ride share to the speedway and take shuttle on the way back to the hotel. Do this, especially if you want to get to the speedway even earlier than taking the shuttle.

I would first try to sell to a friend or someone I know personally. After that, I would put it up on Craigslist in Las Vegas. I’m sure someone will buy your Day 2 & Day 3 pass. Good luck!

I hear you there, and it most definitely will continue to climb. That's part of the reason why more third-party shuttle services are starting to pop up 😅.

How's the cell service at EDC?
Depends on what carrier you have. We have Verizon and Verizon was a sponsor at EDC, and they likely had Cell Towers and maybe even did the WiFi for different areas.
However, we still time-stamped our text messages and there were delays of up to 15 minutes.
I see everyone getting their passes, but I haven’t got a tracking number 😭
Sorry you haven’t gotten yours yet! My wife and a few others in our group did not get a tracking number either, but they did get their tickets already. So keep an eye out! They were delivered on our front door.
I’m in the same boat rn, no tracking number and I’m checking my mail box everyday lol. But my camp edc stuff came already!

Mostly cashless. Tips in cash are accepted. Smaller vendors might take cash as well.
Any recommendations for legit IV recovery/therapy providers in LV?
While. I don't have a specific recommendation, I would stick with your hotel's spa & wellness center. Some of the higher-end ones offer IV recovery/therapy. I would go with that over the ones being offered by third parties in various parts of the strip or in the shopping areas.
I went to the Salvage City dinner... it was bland and flavorless. I was sooo disappointed 😞. The entertainment inside and outside was good, though 😊

These days, people do still just go and whatever happens happens.
Yes raves are mainstream, because the music has become more mainstream and more people are listening to EDM.
