  • WE'RE BACK! In a surprise turn of events, we're going back to Europe for 4 more 'bonus' episodes of Coastin' Thru Europe! This trip takes place about 3 months after our original trip ended in the summer. In todays episode, we travel from Orlando, Florida, to Oslo, Norway! We'll walk around Oslo for a little bit before heading over to Tusenfryd for a cold and wet day! Luckily all of the roller coasters were still open for us (minus the kiddie coaster) so we'll give our thoughts on each of the parks big attractions!

They don't care about their guests, they only care about money. They added a thing where you can pay to get first in the line and they got so much hate they took it away after 1 week.

Nordics are such a under-rated countries TBH. Many people decide to go to central or south Europe since there is "just more things to do". At least in my case, I much prefer Nordics and their nature overall way more compared to other European regions. Nordics also have criminally under-rated theme parks (Gröna Lund, Linnanmäki, Tivoli, ect) and it's a shame that people overlook them heavily. That said, I'm really looking forward to your Nordic travel vlogs 😁

What I really appreciate is how they made the topography work with the rides. That’s what’s really special about Thundercoaster IMO. Riding in the back is my favorite, but haven’t tried it since I was a teenager, when they had the old carts. I guess safety was an issue, but the ride was so nice as you had so much air around you in the old carts.

the new trains suck, extremely bumpy ride and you feel beat up after, in comparison to the old trains, i used to ride thundercoaster 20 times in a row, now i can barely do a couple rounds before my neck is fucked.

This is really a great vlog to watch. Especially seeing the backstage of the dark ride and rapids and just seeing all the thought that goes into a dark ride (and especially how even a small to midsized park like Tusenfryd can pull off a well themed dark ride like Thors Hammer). Great to see your reactions to everything and especially thank to Tusenfryd for allowing you guys to go behind the scenes like you did.
And it's great as always to see an amusement park be well connected to public transit. Something that's thankfully quite common here in the Nordic countries at most parks. I know I used that bus myself once while on a minicruise between Copenhagen and Oslo (oh yeah there are daily minicruises/overnight ferries between the 2 cities in case someone wants to visit both).

Visited Tusenfryd this weekend for the opening day of their new Gerstlauer suspended triple launch coaster wich was amazing.
But... Also went on Thundercoaster again for the first time in quite a few years. And I'm shocked!! This used to be an amazing ride. Now it's horrible. It's shaky and extremely noisy to the point where it's no longer a pleasant ride. I emailed Tusenfryd about this and the response I got was even more of a shock than the ride itself. "The new trains makes you feel the wood structure more and wooden coasters are supposed to be shaky." I'm sorry, but this ride needs a re-track asap. So sad to see it fall apart like this.

agree, i loved thunder coaster in the early 2000s, now its my least favorite coaster at tusenfryd (of the big main attractions), they really should fix it. I dont think they will ever fix it, no reason to spend money on it, people still go to the park regardless of thunder coaster ride comfort.
