- We've made it to the Gold Coast for the first of 3 theme parks- this is Warner Bros Movie World! They're home to incredible rides like DC Rivals, Superman, Green Lantern, and Scooby Doo! We had a jam packed day, featuring multiple behind the scenes tours and experiences. Huge thanks to the park for helping make this video possible! After a fantastic time at Movie World, we then head over to the Q1 tower in Surfer's Paradise for a phenomenal sunset view of the city!

I love how the stunt driver mentioned he did driving stunts for Pirates of the Caribbean. Boats drift too, so makes sense.

Glad you guys had fun! As a local it's always interesting to see our parks through the eyes of tourists. I have limited ride experience outside of Aus, so it's great to hear how good some of our rides actually are! and the behind the scenes stuff was really interesting!
We are getting some good rides now but our ride ops are shocking compared to North America.

“Big, Scary and Pink”. What an incredible title to describe an incredible coaster. Glad you got to Movie World and enjoyed your time. DC Rivals is actually my #1 and it’s not even close. Backwards at fright nights was utter insanity:)
So two main roller coasters down at Movie World. As an Aussie, I would’ve recommended 2024-25 summer. By then we’ll have our first alpine coaster at Thredbo, three new family coasters at Movie World (plus Scooby doo back open) and Jungle Rush at Dreamworld, which should be a really cool Vekoma. But still, good to see you guys made it down here and that you’re having a blast on DC rivals.

Can't wait for the review of DC rivals. Looks like a mix of the laterals in flying aces with the drop and airtime of Expedition ge force, wish Mack made more of these. Supermam looks like a beefed up Rita (Alton towers)
I just love, love, love the layout. With all the elements factoring in of course. If you take the elements one-by-one, we've all seen them before. The vertical drop and then to the right, the non-inverting loop, the whips and of course the hills, those are just elements to construct a great coaster, and they're all cool.
But putting it all into that one layout, that's what I love so much about this layout. It feels like you're flying freely. I thought like I'm a freaking athlete, so flexible and making all these flips in the air. It feels like what I would do, if I could fly, doing all these crazy angles, rushing in a curve down to floor and then make a flip again. I don't know. It might not be the fastest, highest or most-forces coaster, but it's definitely on my top-3 list just for its layout, that I love so much. The experience is just so close to none, the things that I feel while I'm on it. Again, it's not about the stats. It's about that fluidity through it all, and that it feels just right to go through all of that.
Such an awesome place, can't wait to go back!

Wow, I used to live 5 minutes away from Movie world, so this was my childhood park.
Very enjoyable video! Loved the part where you got to ride in the stunt cars - so cool! I can't believe the park closes at 5 p.m... That seems like such a short day! To me, a park closing "early" is when it closes at 8 or 9 p.m. so I was very surprised when you mentioned that.

Glad you had a good time at Movie World. I very much like the DC Rivals, however I prefer Superman more. It is so intense it is crazy. First the surprising laterals in the preshow, then that awesome launch (which happens to feature a headchopper!) and then the airtime filled layout, throw two powerful banked turns, and you get an amazing ride!
Next time you guys come to Australia I would love to show you around! I live right next Dream-world! And have grown up on the Gold Coast! I love your videos!

It was interesting seeing the DC Shooting dark ride. Its in the same show building that still houses Time riders at Movie Park Germany, back in the day it was a batman simulator at both parks, and the buildings are basically identical. Some items like the columns and the chandeliers you guys pointed out are the same ones still found today inside time riders.

The Gold Coast is one of the places I would greatly enjoy, especially Warner Movie World as I like parks with variety. I hope you have a chance to do a cinamatic video of this park. Great video!

With Wild Wild West you mentioned it wasn’t too bad with getting wet. When it first opened it was drenching. They changed it to be more dry which is common for water rides here in Aus.
When you mentioned the Justice League ride facade didn’t quite look right is cause it was Batman the Ride and Batman the Ride II before. Batman being based on Batman Returns (was SUPER popular after opening) Batman II being the same ride but different story and the clips shown being animated (not that great)
Pity you missed Superman Escape, Scooby-Doo Spooky Coaster and the Batwing Spaceshot.
I hope you both went to the attraction Infinity in Surfer Paradise.
I miss the batman ride so much 😢 It and looney tunes river ride were my favourites. Also the gremlins ride. Just like Bermuda triangle was my favourite at seaworld. Yet they're all gone 😢

It’s a very immersive dinner and show experience, all with a ghost train too.

How do you get all the behind the scenes stuff at these different parks? Do you contact the parks ahead of time or do you find someone to talk to once you get to the parks?
They would contact the parks ahead of time and show them their credentials

I’m surprised the maintenance period is in January-March since that’s summer time in Australia
School goes back in February, and the attendance of the park drops right off.
Feb-March is relativity quiet at the parks. January and December are crazy though!
The hotel is so beautiful but I have a fear of heights so I would not like it that but the views are insane I would go 10 stories under
