I dont know if frontier has ever mentioned not wanting to do like an aviation or ocean pack but i cant help but think about how cool they would be. For example the ocean pack could include sea turtles, pelicans, walrus', narwhals and sharks and with the exhibit animals i think they could do something really unique like adding in a range of different exhibit animals like an octopus, seahorse, crabs, starfish as well as a bunch of other fish like clownfish, angelfish and piranhas. They could add a walkthrough aquarium for the animals or you could display the exhibit animals in basic exhibits too. The aviation pack may be a little more difficult but they could do something like make barriers able to have a top to them to allow the birds to properly fly and explore, they could even add a new net type barrier. For the birds you could include toucans (my personal fav) shoebills, birds of prey like eagles and hawks as well as plenty of other bird options and hell they could even put in the paradise tree snake or bats just to stop the pack from being completely birds. The exhibit animal could be like bats or the tree snake but it would likely be a small bird like parrots, macaws, hummingbirds, birdeaters or i could even see them doing like a kingfisher. Now im 99% certain that nothing like this would ever happen but it would be so cool and add a whole new opportunities for players to use new and unique animals in their zoos and its just something that id personally love to see
I am 99% sure we will see a Crested Porcupine (be it African or Indian) at some point, as it is one of the remaining unique animals that even casual zoo goers all over the world know and recognize. I like your arid pack, even though I would like either Collared Peccary or Patagonian Mara in it to give SA some more representatives. You have an interesting point with the Dall Sheep suddenly getting the Goat Mountain animation, although it could also be possible that they have some mountain animals in development for a later pack (Takin, Markhor etc). But I guess we will see soon enough.
Both these packs sound great. Id love a sand cat in the arid pack, i wouldnt be mad with an african spurred tortoise either. I also think that an islands pack has a good chance of being the summer pack. Im still holding out hope for green back turtles.
Yea I just threw it in there because of the chance they would possibly want to add in another Giraffe if they add in Giraffe feeding as a feature. My personal Wishlist would look much different than the video lol
@@nickdentoom1173 not really, only one did have a true reskin, others have different sizes, models, etc. Like the lar gibbon is much smaller and has a different model than the siamang and the Asian water monitor has different animations and model than nile monitor and can deep dive. Most packs have animals that are similar to others but rarely true reskins
I think that even though these are great packs we shouldn’t through the islands or highlands idea out the window. Especially for summer, the Tasmanian devil and the tree kangaroo along with other awesome island animals I think would be the best rn. Then in the fall a arid pack or a NA or SA pack would be cool, and in the winter the highlands pack with the Wolverine and Andean bear would be a banger! Can’t wait to see what comes out, I’m sure it will be something good.
I really liked the Safari Animal Pack, and I think that the African Crested Porcupine, Hamadryas Baboon, Secretary Bird, Black Rhino, Honey Badger, Bee Eater and the Greater Kudu are good animal choices but I would swap the Masai Giraffe for the Nile Crocodile.
Honestly, do we need more Crocodillians in the game. I don't think we do. And even then, i prefer a Crocodillian that has a more endangered status than the Nile Crocodile, like the Orinoco Crocodile, which is Critically Endangered. I feel like a Safari Animal Pack would have animals in that would fit a Safari. I don't think the Hamadryas Baboon does so. I think the Gelada would fit much better.

We do not know what the next pack is or what it is going to be called but I strongly disagree that we don’t need more crocodilians. Frontier are amazing at making reptiles in the game and the Nile Crocodile would be an amazing animal to get. Everyone has animals they want in the game that others don’t. Personally I don’t want the Gelada but I really want the Hamadryas Baboon or the Olive Baboon. We have to wait and see what the next pack is going to be and see what animals they decide to add.

@OldCountry I really love your predictions for the desert pack idea, and I hope the Secretary bird, Coati, ocelot, and Burrowing owl get in. All your predictions are really good, and I hope your guesses are true, maybe even add 9 animals to perhaps include both Coati and ocelot ^^
@OldCountry the Safari pack is good too ; ESPECIALLY the Honey Badger ^^, it’s on my top list along with the Wolverine and Tasmanian Devil. One thing is the Olive Baboon would be a better pick for the Safari pack instead of the Hamadryas, cause mainly you see those or Chacma baboons on safaris more than Hamadryas. But that’s just me, who knows 😅.

The black rhino inhabits the Namib so it would fit a desert pack as well, it's a fact I haven't seen anyone pick up on yet. Budgies might also work as WE animals in a desert pack.
My Desert / Arid animal pack ( with SA bias just like yours has an obvious NA bias): 1. African crested porcupine 2. Hamadryas baboon 3. Collared peccary 4. Patagonian Mara 5. Secretary bird 6. Ocelot/Sand cat 7. Dromedary camel 8. Hummingbirds
I think budgies would make the most sense for a walkthrough exhibit bird for the Arid Animal Pack. Budgie walkthroughs are so common at every level of zoo. Burrowing owls IMO would be a habitat animal in the same way that prairie dogs are. I think the Patagonian mara has a chance for this kind of pack--it wouldn't be the first time Frontier gave us two rodents at once. For the safari pack, I'd hope that Frontier would for once take the opportunity to add multiple habitat birds in place of something as unnecessary as a Masai giraffe. The grey crowned crane is such a necessity, and (hot take) so are guineafowl.
I get the Secretarybird is more highly requested, but I'm shocked seemingly no one in the PZ community wants a ground hornbill; which I feel would be an ideal alternative/complement to said Secretarybird, and a far better choice for a habitat bird than a roadrunner. My preferred species would be for the Abyssinian,, but either species would be great. A peccary strikes me as a reasonable alt to the bighorn; people ask for collared peccary fairly often, though I think the Chacoan peccary is more likely. As nice as hummingbirds would be, I suspect their size and quickness might make them less likely inclusions. My first guess for a walkthrough exhibit animal(s) in an arid-themed pack would probably be a budgerigar and/or cockatiel, assuming Frontier doesn't decide to do a non-walkthrough exhibit animal instead, like the Texas horned lizard for example.
Safari Animal Pack looks pretty good I would include many of your picks, the Porcupine, Secretary Bird, Baboon, Kudu and Black Rhino, I would probably have either the Serval or the African Leopard, and the Nile Crocodile as a final habitat animal, then the exhibit animal, I would honestly like to see the Black Mamba personally, as we haven't had a DLC snake as of yet, and the Black Mamba is an iconic species, but I like the Bee-Eater idea For Arid Animal Pack, I dig the Porcupine, Camel, Baboon and Roadrunner, I would change out a couple of picks for the Collared Peccary, the Yellow-Footed Rock Wallaby and I would like to keep the Coyote or the Bighorn Sheep for another American species, but the exhibit animal could be the Thorny Devil, as it is a desert specialist and is the only member of its genus, and an iconic Australian lizard As much as I would like an Islands Animal Pack this Summer, either of these two packs would be nice to get otherwise
I think the vervet monkey only is at such a low place on the wishlist because monkeys are so lacking over all. There are so many really iconic monkeys missing that its hard to justify votes for the less requested but still nice species. If we already had like 3 more SA monkeys and the mantled guereza for example they vervet monkey would be way higher than that
I think people are missing something key. Frontier likes animals that can copy rigs that allow them to fix base game animals. That’s why we got the spotted hyena, the blue wildebeest, water Buffalo, and now the Asian monitor. All cover animals that needed reworks. That is why I’m going to go out on a limb and say we are getting a new Lion. Why rework an animal when you can just reskin it and sell it as DLC? This is usually what I use to predict new animals. Also why a new camel is a given.
Imo, we've already got enough of canines, and felines (I'd like to see the serval, but other than that, I'm rather sceptic) That being said, I'd switch the coyote with African Spurred tortoise (both land tortoises we've got already in game are quite similar, and the african spurred tortoise could help in diversing the roster. I'd also switch the blackbuck for addax (Ikr, that's bunch of african animals) When it comes to the safari pack, I'd leave the honey badger, pick the Velvet monkey (I love the hamadryas baboon, but it fits better in desert/highlands pack) I would also switch Greater kudu for Eland or Bontebok. I honestly think that Another giraffe/zebra is not that bad of a pick, however I'd prefer to use mods for them, as they don't differ that much from the already in-game species.
ISLAND DLC! Maybe it could include the Tasmanian devil, marine iguana (habitat) channel islands fox, Falklands Steamer duck, Kiwi, South Island Takahe, Cuban Snolenodon, And the lord howe stick insect.
I don't know if they'll ever add large flying birds, but if Frontier were to add California Condors, Harpy Eagles, Stellar Sea Eagles, Eurasian Eagle-Owls, and Egyptian Vultures, I would not complain at all
I think that change the actual walkthrow exibit as the shame but called as a medium exibit with depending the tipe of animal or if you want It or not, make It as walkthrow or not, it's a good idea
I think Porcupine, Secretarybird, Vervet Monkey, Giant Eland, Black Rhino, Jackal, Serval and Bee-eater would work better. While the Kudu places higher on the wishlist the Eland is more impressive ingame. Other antelope for africa could be the Impala, Dik Dik, Klipspringer, or some kind of Duiker

While I like the packs presented, the second more so, I have a feeling they might do a "X-Lands" Animal Pack. Like we got "Wet-Lands" and "Grass-Lands" pack. Going off that theme, "Is-Lands" would be cool with a ton of requested animals like the Coquerel's Sifaka and Walrus. Or "Shrub-Lands" mixing more of that Arid environment. Or "Wood-Lands" to be more forest themed. Or "High-Lands" for things like Markhor or Takin. But my thoughts on the Animals in your packs Arid 1. While not one of my personal picks, the Porcupine would be welcome. 2. Dromedary would be cool. 3. We need a Baboon and Hamadryas would be perfect. Gelada would also be acceptable, just not here. 4. Another Requested Bird... Yes. 5. Desert Bighorn would be cool, but the Blackbuck would be a better choice. We have the Dall Sheep and Ibex already and people want a Blackbuck. 6. Coati is a must. If we could get the Raccoon, we can get a Coati. 7. The Coyote... Do we really need another Canid? I'm not opposed to the Coyote but we have so many Canids in game already, 9 as a matter of fact. And frankly, some don't get used like the Dhole. 8. A Hummingbird would be cool. Alts. 1. Blackbuck would be nice to have for the Asian Sections of our Zoos, adding an Asian Antelope would be appreciated. 2. The Roadrunner... maybe, the Secretary Bird would be better though. 3. Ocelot... cats are even more numerous than the Canids. 11 in game. I won't turn down an Ocelot, but between an Ocelot or a Coati, the Coati wins. 4. A Burrowing Owl would be cool, but it also would stand out as the only habitat bird. Only exemplifying the need for flying birds in game. My Alts. (Just some options not mentioned) 1. Nilgai 2. Jackrabbit 3. Sulcata (African Spurred) Tortoise 4. Rock Hyrax Safari 1. See Above. 2. See Above. 3. See Above. 4. Africa really got the short end of the stick post launch. BUT, the animals we got post launch are excellent, but there are some notable exclusions. The Kudu (Greater or Lesser) is one of them. 5. While I would say "We have a White Rhino, we don't need this too"... I like Rhinos a lot, (Honestly, planet Zoo's Ommission of an African Rhino for a Year and a Half sparked this) so why not have the third Rhino commonly found in Zoos? 6. The Honey Badger would be perfect. We have the European Badger but the Honey Badger is Iconic. 7. I'm mixed on the Masai Giraffe. I love Giraffes (all African Fauna really, if you want to make a great DLC for PZ, prioritize Africa) but we have the Reticulated already. 8. Bee-Eater would be cool, but I personally would prefer a Weaver since you can have their baskets be a part of the enclosure. Alts. 1. Vervet Monkey would be like the Capuchin again when we could get a Baboon. 2. Black Backed Jackal, cool, unique Canid ( I prefer animals not being so similar to what we have and we don't have a jackal yet) just not replacing the Honey Badger. 3. Serval... okay but there's other animals. My Alts. 1. Common Eland 2. Gerenuk 3. Impala 4. Weaver Birds
I always thought a desert pack would have: Dromedary Hamadryas baboon Asiatic wild ass Kirk’s dik-dik Greater bilby Burrowing owl Desert bighorn Habitat: Moloch but I love the hummingbird idea
At this point I'm only hoping for 2 things, birds in the walkthrough exhibit, and more aquatic animals, not fully aquatic, more like walrus, sea otters, more penguins or seals.
i really wish they would do a child farm pack. I play this with my kid who like to watch the animals and i need stuf like rabbits guinypigs goats sheep etc.
I would love a secretary bird and coyote. If they would do a Safari Pack wouldn't it be great if they added the ability to have multi habitats with the safari car, with air-lock type doors added. It probably won't happen but would be a welcome addition
Replace the giraffe with the Grevy Zebra. The zebra needs a second chance like the hyena. Also it’s just overall way more unique compared to its counterpart.
I think a dry lands pack may be likely. But i would keep the dromadary, baboon and porcupine. And switch the rest for a mara, pecari, pallascat, guinea fowl and budgerigars.
I wouldnt be mad at either pack, but would be prefer the arid pack. But regardless what we get we all know frontier will have done an amazing job at it. I would really love to see the Black Rhino, Porcupine and the secretary bird finally added. Hopefully we wont have too long to wait to hear any news. Absolutely love this game and look forward to every pack and update we get :)

I like the Arid Animal Pack Idea, but I hope they would give us the Ocelot instead of the Coyote. Also I would replace the Bighorn through the Blackbuck. I LOVE the idea of hummingbirds. And I hope to get the Dromedary Camel as free anniversary animal so we could hopefully have Collared Peccarys. So my Arid Animal Pack would be: 1. Porcupine 2. Peccari 3. Baboon 4. Secretary Bird 5. Islands animal pack: 1. Tasmanian Devil 2. North Island Brown Kiwi 3. Sifaka 4. Pelican (any) 5. Walruss 6. Short beaked Echidna 7. Goodfellow's Tree-Kangaroo Exhibit: Any small bird, small fish aquarium or lizard/Iguana from the Galapagos Island Probably too stacked for one DLC with a lot of special animals, but it's a dream pack for me.
Your arid pack focuses too much on north america in my opinion, it has no australian animals and it should have more african animals like a greater eland or kudu instead of the big horn sheep

Aviary DLC is basically impossible at this point, as it requires an entire rework of the games core mechanics.
The black rhino is the last of the major rhino species we’re missing and they are very common in a lot of zoos!
I’m thinking they’ll start teasing in early June, but I’d be so happy if they are on an earlier schedule.

I think the masai giraffe would be a great anniversery animal as i think it may be kinda a wasit in a slot when you could have something more unique

I would be SEVERELY disappointed if a safari pack came out without a Grey Crowned Crane. It's my most requested animal at the moment

I like the white nosed coati too! I think they’re number 1 on my wishlist at the moment.

There are so many really iconic monkeys missing that its hard to justify votes for the less requested but still nice species. If we already had like 3 more SA monkeys and the mantled guereza for example they vervet monkey would be way higher than that

I think people are missing something key. Frontier likes animals that can copy rigs that allow them to fix base game animals. That’s why we got the spotted hyena, the blue wildebeest, water Buffalo, and now the Asian monitor. All cover animals that needed reworks. That is why I’m going to go out on a limb and say we are getting a new Lion. Why rework an animal when you can just reskin it and sell it as DLC? This is usually what I use to predict new animals. Also why a new camel is a given.
Id love touch/tidal pools with a mix of starfish dogfish urchins etc treated similarly to the butterfly walkthrough

I wish the secretary bird is coming
Imo, we've already got enough of canines, and felines (I'd like to see the serval, but other than that, I'm rather sceptic) That being said, I'd switch the coyote with African Spurred tortoise (both land tortoises we've got already in game are quite similar, and the african spurred tortoise could help in diversing the roster. I'd also switch the blackbuck for addax (Ikr, that's bunch of african animals) When it comes to the safari pack, I'd leave the honey badger, pick the Velvet monkey (I love the hamadryas baboon, but it fits better in desert/highlands pack) I would also switch Greater kudu for Eland or Bontebok. I honestly think that Another giraffe/zebra is not that bad of a pick, however I'd prefer to use mods for them, as they don't differ that much from the already in-game species.

ISLAND DLC! Maybe it could include the Tasmanian devil, marine iguana (habitat) channel islands fox, Falklands Steamer duck, Kiwi, South Island Takahe, Cuban Snolenodon, And the lord howe stick insect.
I don't know if they'll ever add large flying birds, but if Frontier were to add California Condors, Harpy Eagles, Stellar Sea Eagles, Eurasian Eagle-Owls, and Egyptian Vultures, I would not complain at all

I think that change the actual walkthrow exibit as the shame but called as a medium exibit with depending the tipe of animal or if you want It or not, make It as walkthrow or not, it's a good idea
I think Porcupine, Secretarybird, Vervet Monkey, Giant Eland, Black Rhino, Jackal, Serval and Bee-eater would work better. While the Kudu places higher on the wishlist the Eland is more impressive ingame. Other antelope for africa could be the Impala, Dik Dik, Klipspringer, or some kind of Duiker

I’d love a collared peccary for a desert pack, but hard to pick it over a desert bighorn. A viscacha from the Atacama desert would be another amazing pick
While I like the packs presented, the second more so, I have a feeling they might do a "X-Lands" Animal Pack. Like we got "Wet-Lands" and "Grass-Lands" pack.
Going off that theme, "Is-Lands" would be cool with a ton of requested animals like the Coquerel's Sifaka and Walrus. Or "Shrub-Lands" mixing more of that Arid environment. Or "Wood-Lands" to be more forest themed. Or "High-Lands" for things like Markhor or Takin.
But my thoughts on the Animals in your packs
Arid
1. While not one of my personal picks, the Porcupine would be welcome.
2. Dromedary would be cool.
3. We need a Baboon and Hamadryas would be perfect. Gelada would also be acceptable, just not here.
4. Another Requested Bird... Yes.
5. Desert Bighorn would be cool, but the Blackbuck would be a better choice. We have the Dall Sheep and Ibex already and people want a Blackbuck.
6. Coati is a must. If we could get the Raccoon, we can get a Coati.
7. The Coyote... Do we really need another Canid? I'm not opposed to the Coyote but we have so many Canids in game already, 9 as a matter of fact. And frankly, some don't get used like the Dhole.
8. A Hummingbird would be cool.
Alts.
1. Blackbuck would be nice to have for the Asian Sections of our Zoos, adding an Asian Antelope would be appreciated.
2. The Roadrunner... maybe, the Secretary Bird would be better though.
3. Ocelot... cats are even more numerous than the Canids. 11 in game. I won't turn down an Ocelot, but between an Ocelot or a Coati, the Coati wins.
4. A Burrowing Owl would be cool, but it also would stand out as the only habitat bird. Only exemplifying the need for flying birds in game.

4. Africa really got the short end of the stick post launch. BUT, the animals we got post launch are excellent, but there are some notable exclusions. The Kudu (Greater or Lesser) is one of them.
5. While I would say "We have a White Rhino, we don't need this too"... I like Rhinos a lot, (Honestly, planet Zoo's Ommission of an African Rhino for a Year and a Half sparked this) so why not have the third Rhino commonly found in Zoos?
6. The Honey Badger would be perfect. We have the European Badger but the Honey Badger is Iconic.
7. I'm mixed on the Masai Giraffe. I love Giraffes (all African Fauna really, if you want to make a great DLC for PZ, prioritize Africa) but we have the Reticulated already.
8. Bee-Eater would be cool, but I personally would prefer a Weaver since you can have their baskets be a part of the enclosure.
Alts.
1. Vervet Monkey would be like the Capuchin again when we could get a Baboon.
2. Black Backed Jackal, cool, unique Canid ( I prefer animals not being so similar to what we have and we don't have a jackal yet) just not replacing the Honey Badger.

I would love a secretary bird and coyote. If they would do a Safari Pack wouldn't it be great if they added the ability to have multi habitats with the safari car, with air-lock type doors added. It probably won't happen but would be a welcome addition

Replace the giraffe with the Grevy Zebra. The zebra needs a second chance like the hyena. Also it’s just overall way more unique compared to its counterpart.
I would kill to see a Sonoran Desert pack with Coyotes, Javelinas, and Roadrunners!
I think a dry lands pack may be likely. But i would keep the dromadary, baboon and porcupine. And switch the rest for a mara, pecari, pallascat, guinea fowl and budgerigars.
I wouldnt be mad at either pack, but would be prefer the arid pack. But regardless what we get we all know frontier will have done an amazing job at it. I would really love to see the Black Rhino, Porcupine and the secretary bird finally added. Hopefully we wont have too long to wait to hear any news. Absolutely love this game and look forward to every pack and update we get :)

I like the Arid Animal Pack Idea, but I hope they would give us the Ocelot instead of the Coyote. Also I would replace the Bighorn through the Blackbuck. I LOVE the idea of hummingbirds. And I hope to get the Dromedary Camel as free anniversary animal so we could hopefully have Collared Peccarys. So my Arid Animal Pack would be: 1. Porcupine 2. Peccari 3. Baboon 4. Secretary Bird 5.
