A few things 1. A woman who's worth it, won't bar you from your goals, but push and help you to achieve them. They want you to succeed, not fail, and will never make you choose between them or what you want to do. 2. You have no destiny, or purpose in life, other than what you define for yourself. Your purpose could easily be to be the ideal husband, father, or a career that won't make you profit. Success is measured by how happy you are with your life and where it's going, no regrets. Your purpose in life should be whatever plays best to your strengths and challenges those strengths further. 3. Being a man, is not about putting yourself above others, but knowing when to do both. When to walk away for your own sake, and when to put yourself at risk for others, like your closest friends, family, etc To think otherwise is more or less the selfish culture we've been raised in.
How to be a man? 1st off: suffer. You must know suffering.... and you must have the will to keep going. Mentally and physical. You must learn to be strong. Not just physically, but most importantly, mentally. Self-improvement is a must as well. Don't strive to find the right woman, focus on making YOU the right man. Treat others as you would like to be treated. If they are good to you, be good to them. If they are bad to you, do not tolerate it. Handle them. Lastly: confidence. Does a "real man" need a relationship? You can follow these rules without being in a relationship. Adding to that keeping your heart open also doesn't require you to be in a relationship.
A real man, will do both. He can thrive in and out of a relationship. And even after many failed dates, gfs, etc he never stops reaching his goals. Great insight. I thought that closing my heart off to the world will make me better off since everyone I know had betrayed me and f'd me over: from GF to family and to even my friends and the final straw was my Muay Thai coach who became my close friend and mentor. But my life has become meaningless and lonely and I've turned into an anti social shut in and find myself awkward around people now and even seemed to lose my way of talking. I just seen to not know how to talk anymore or don't feel like talking or interacting with anyone. I find people annoying and irritating and just can't seem to gel with anyone. How am I meant to get back into the swing of things now that I've become this way? I am usually a very fun loving and talkative guy full of confidence but now I don't like to mingle with strangers and picking up girls is the worse cos i just can't be bothered with their attitude and their silly games cos I really don't understand if they really like you or not cos they may talk to you a lot but then in public they don't. My sister tells me if a girl is talking back to you it means she's interested or else she won't even want to talk to you. I guess I just need to follow this advice and open my heart once again. It worked when I initially joined the boxing gym and my life went into a new positive direction but i now find myself back into my old miserable life and back on drugs and single and lonely. It's what I feel mine is, I constantly read and listen to podcasts that will help me grow, I am an amateur MMA fighter and constantly try to improve my health, athleticism and skill, and I am a student aircraft mechanic and work to imrpove on that as well, also I try to be a better man in my relationships and just in general, I feel like I always have stuff to improve on, and am focused every day
If my girlfriend tried to “test me” like in the examples you gave, she would be long gone. My friend's boyfriend was always busy for her. He was building a house, had lots of problems with it, he had a bad relationships with her and his parents. My friend moved for him from another country, but she always felt lonely and no support. Her love language is quality time, but he was always busy for years. Eventually she left him. And she did a right thing. Now, she has a boyfriends who loves and adores her, and spending time with her and pursuing his dreams. What about her ex boyfriend? He is totally unhappy, living by himself in his house. This video gives bad advice to men out there regarding how to treat women. I agree that a man should not lose his purpose for his girlfriend. But what is true purpose? Promotion? Really? Or people? Things can not make us happy! The true purpose of our lives is to be a blessing to others. People are more important then things. On your death bed, are you going to remember your money, house or people? It doesn't mean you should do everything girlfriend says, but mutual respect and love should be from both sides. Women need attention, as men need sex. If you don't have time for a girlfriend, you will loose her.

I put my purpose before my girl but i wasn't there yet. When i finally achieved my purpose she cheated on me and i left her and had a lot more money because of it. She did it because i put the purpose before her.

My friend's boyfriend was always busy for her. He was building a house, had lots of problems with it, he had a bad relationships with her and his parents. My friend moved for him from another country, but she always felt lonely and no support. Her love language is quality time, but he was always busy for years. Eventually she left him. And she did a right thing. Now, she has a boyfriends who loves and adores her, and spending time with her and pursuing his dreams. What about her ex boyfriend? He is totally unhappy, living by himself in his house. This video gives bad advice to men out there regarding how to treat women. I agree that a man should not lose his purpose for his girlfriend. But what is true purpose? Promotion? Really? Or people? Things can not make us happy! The true purpose of our lives is to be a blessing to others. People are more important then things. On your death bed, are you going to remember your money, house or people? It doesn't mean you should do everything girlfriend says, but mutual respect and love should be from both sides. Women need attention, as men need sex. If you don't have time for a girlfriend, you will loose her.

You missunderstood the video, or the meaning of someomes life. Your purpose in life is to do whatever you feel like doing. If you let a potential partner influence your progress in your carrer that you know you worked hard for and need to take to advance than you take that chance and talk to your partner about theyr issue with the problem. Someones purpose could be to be with other, but then their carrer should be put after your partner. Everyones purpose is different, which means this video is not wrong or righy.
