I actually watched the extras on the dvd for this trap and the rigging they made for it to be a practical effect, with I believe no cgi, was so intricate. All of their special effects are so fascinating to watch how they were made and used. If you're able to get a physical copy to watch the extras I highly recommend it. (The rack is still my favorite trap after seeing every movie lol)
Plus he comments on his expectations of the laser cutting through the ceiling which is what turns into a plot point when the other guy notices that it didn't happen with the doctor's lasers.
I thought it was funny how he still mentioned the blood loss being what life and death mattered on, like bro his brain was cut into slices I don’t think he’s good
Fun fact: for the needle pit trap in Saw 2, they had a bit trouble preparing for it. They thought they would only need 20,000 but they actually needed 120,000. And on top of that, when they did get the syringes, it took the crew a very long time to take off the real needles and replace them with prop needles. And on top of that, the actress who played Amanda had to be very careful walking around because she had prop needles on her.
@@DoctorER For me I think it’s the one where he has to pull a key from a woman’s stomach with a rope but there’s a fishing hook at the end of the rope.

The Rack was actually Hoffmans trap since the voice said it was his favourite but their was clearly no use for the key once Jeff had it since Timothys limbs were nailed into the trap.
"You can actually still live for a little while, with the ribcage gone" Thank you for making that particular scene even more excruciating through medical knowledge, I guess. XD
Fun fact about the reverse bear trap: There was one made before the one used in the first film, and that reverse bear trap, was VERY capable of killing the person wearing it.
i'm pretty sure that the reverse bear trap that the actress who played amanda used WAS the real thing, but it would've had to be hooked up to an air compressor to actually work. it was hooked up to an air compressor when they shot the scenes of it opening, though

The thing about the laser cutter scene in Jigsaw is that Logan Nelson's collar had fake lasers and the Detective Halloran's collar had the real lasers.
Thanks you for reacting to Saw traps again. It's always a good day when you upload new videos. To answer one of your questions, the guy on the floor that wasn't moving was given an opiate overdose. Definitely going to need a part 3, there's just so many traps left.
Plot twist (SPOILER WARNING) The trap at 1:58 was never meant to be beaten. Halloran (i think his name is) did legitimatley get tested and beat his test, when the lasers deactivate, halloran looks up to see the laser marks on the ceiling. but when he looks at nelson's side, there are no laser marks. At that point, nelson stands up and reveals his hand. In nelson's monologue, he explains that he was working with john kramer (the man behind the jagsaw traps) all along and that halloran was the one who placed false evidence to set edgrew munson (the guy who killed nelson's wife) free and that Nelson will never be suspected as the jigsaw killer. He then presses a button on a remote which activates halloran's real lasers, closing in on his head and killing him. With nelson's final line "i speak for the dead.", he shuts the door containing halloran's corpse and the movie ends with the killer getting away with it all. Game over.
Fun fact: That needle pit took hours and hours to set up because Shawnee Smith would not let them threw her in a pit of real syringes no mater how clean they are so they had to remove almost all the metal needles and replace them with plastic.
Idk if you saw the Jigsaw ending, but everything you described actually happened to the other guy. The lasers did cut into the ceiling and slice open his face like the Demogorgon. It didn’t happen to the first guy because his lasers were fake and he had fake blood in his collar.
(Spoilers about Dr Nelson) His lasers were actually plain lights as he was a Jigsaw accomplice. The other guy had the real deal, and his head became cake
These are some awesome traps you picked out. Some others you may enjoy reacting to are The Cube (Saw V), A Pound of Flesh (Saw VI), the Acid Room (Saw VI), and the Silence Circle (Saw VII/3D).

I think it's gotta be at least part 3, and maybe even more, to close your wowsies on how ridiculous these traps can get in the movies. Your content is actually fantastic. The Rack was terrifying, but it is the operation that made my body go cold and almost vomit first time watching Saw 3, that was quite unexpected to me. In a while I think looking at the Tom and Jerry is a great idea. Yep, it's unrealistic slapstick, but your opinion and reaction is something i'd definitely like to see. I always wondered how bad such injuries and traumas can actually get.
A good representation of what a reverse bear-trap would do to a human is in a game called dead by daylight which has a killer named The Pig who is from the saw series and she puts reverse bear-traps on the survivors, the traps then will go off after a certain period of time in a very gruesome fashion and I highly suggest checking it out in the future.
As someone who plays it, yes it happens except the head still stays intact cause of ratings, what you can show, and cause kids play this game and stuff. Meaning they couldn’t go over the top with the gore.
The ribs being torn open reminds me of the "Blood Eagle," execution method, that was supposedly used by the Vikings way back when. I liked that one a lot. The twisting one kinda delved too far into the torture porn realm for me; I like bloody, brutal and creative but relatively quick deaths best. Still an awesome video though. Thanks Doctor Wagner. I have an odd medical question too. I keep getting these bone spurs coming out of my jaw, and then I gotta go to the dentist and get them cut out if it's one that broke free from the actual jaw bone, or he has to grind them down if it's still attached to the bone. All of them have been razor sharp and they cut my tongue or stab into my cheeks Now I have one that is so close to a nerve though, the dentist only felt comfortable grinding it down enough that it wasn't poking through the gums. Why is this happening ? I've had at least a dozen of these things over the last few months. The dentist doesn't have an explanation, and they are driving both of us a little nuts. They usually come out of the lower jaw, but I've had 2 or 3 coming from the upper one too.
Personal needle related topic: I don’t fear the needles per say, I really really hate the feeling of the fluid being injected or the feeling of blood leaving (for blood tests). I’m very aware of both of them and do pass out if I go without eating anything since it triggers low sugar reaction like hypoglycemia even though I have no problem like that anywhere else in my daily life. For blood tests it is a habit to ask to do it while laying down, mostly because I don’t want to be a burden for the nurses to carry me.
Dr Wagner, in the Doctor scene who messed up the X-rays there's a Plot Twist where you could see the things you've expected from the laser trap, hope you can react to it in the next part, love your vids man
For those of u that’s afraid of getting ur injections this beautiful and kind nurse taught me a trick so that it doesn’t hurt as bad and it’s so simple, just relax your arm the more tense your arm is the harder it is for the needle to go in therefor causing you more pain, if ur arm is relaxed then the needle just slips right in :D
I think the idea behind the reverse bear trap and angel trap killing you was that the pain was so sudden, intense and violent that you'd pass out and die from shock basically immediately. But obviously you'd know a lot better about how that actually works.
Well the bear trap is basically ripping your face in half, so the trauma, blood loss and probably damage to the brain would definitely do it. You actually DO see what it does to a person's head in Saw 3D and it looks like a little more than just wrenching the jaws open. And as for the angel trap, it's also ripping your ribcage open, so you'll also have to deal with your organs falling out.
If you do another Saw one please watch Lynn's game from Saw 3. Without spoilng too much she's a doctor who's tasked to keep a terminally ill man alive for as long as she can (basically, if the man's heart stops Lynn's device activates and kills her).
something i thought i'd point out, when u saw the guy in the laser collar "die" he didn't actually die. He was the one who made the whole trap and was playing a fake jigsaw voice to get the other guy to confess, but even after he does confess the other guy still dies and yes, his head does get cut open like a cake.
Something worth mentioning about the laser collar trap, the dude you witnessed was actually faking. The lasers were harmless to him and went off to the other man in the room. That guy ACTUALLY had his head split into many pieces.
Woo! Thanks Dr Jordan! That's way cool I suggested the Twisting Rack and you did it! That is by far the most dreadful thing, it's just miserable! Thanks for all the cool videos you make bit these SAW ones are the best!😃😃😃
I had a bear trap injury, thankfully my injuries were minor as my boot was high enough and took most of the possible tissue damage, my bone was snapped 3 inches above my ankle. Had surgery and ive been fine ever since
Ooh the reverse bear trap is nasty cause it actually goes and rips through the entire top of you head while simultaneously pulls your jaw off. Side note the needle trap seems like one of the worse because of how likely an overdose would be.
1:49 my dad actually passed out one time and was in the hospital for 1 day, and then he got a cramp on like... his intestines or something and he passed out again
This series is so awesome 😍 unfortunately you missed the last part of the twisting device because in the end it actually twists the poor mans head finally killing him Also in the clip with the laser trap YES the head actually splits open like a cake the reason it did not happen to the doctor was that his collar had fake lasers the other guy wasn't so lucky though his head gets split into eight pieces which was btw a very clever easter egg because this was the 8th SAW movie^^ The reverse bear trap is a fan favorite in the series that shows up in multiple movies but it's the 7th movie were it finally works and the aftermath is very brutal
You Are A Really Good Doctor You Know About Everything That You Can Do Anything! You Are A Great Person Helping People Of Their Injuries And Bleeds You Rock!
Saw actually has an interesting story although the reverse bear trap really takes away from it as he usually made it deal with the persons problem. For example the same girl was also the one thrown into the needles and she was a former drug user that got clean after he tested her. The X-ray guy mixed up jigsaws charts and they missed his brain tumor and then it got to an inoperable point
@@johnj4471 yeah its been a few years since I've sat and watched all of them but I do remember she was involved. I believe she died in the 3rd one but I could be wrong.

Hello, Doctor! I have a question regarding the reverse bear trap. So, in Saw 7 aka Saw 3D, Jil Tuck is the only victim we see who actually gets killed by it. Now, I'm no medical expert, but I do watch a lot of documentaries. So my question is, since the trap rips your mouth open (and assuming you don't die from the extreme sock caused by pain which could result in a Heart attack) would you choke on your blood for a few minutes, or because of the extensive damage your brain would be punctured by broken bones from the cheeks and nose? Love your videos!
Just got the notification and immediately watched it. Great video as always Doctor ER. Love the fun edits in the video. Hope you had a great Halloween.
This reminds me of some RUclips video parodies known as "SpongeBob plays Saw" and they did imitate some scenes from the movies, like Patrick found a hole with syringes under a mat, and he threw SpongeBob, blue-haired guy, green-haired guy in, but the door was locked after searching for the key.

There's still some really interesting ones that you haven't looked at yet! Please do another video! Love your content! 🙌
Finally! Part 2!!!
Something worth mentioning about the laser collar trap, the dude you witnessed was actually faking. The lasers were harmless to him and went off to the other man in the room. That guy ACTUALLY had his head split into many pieces.
The fact you put a clip from breaking the magicians code made my day. I watched that show all the time as a kid ❤😂
1:31 That looks so Brutal!😖
My idea of disposing of a needle would involve getting the metal hot using a flame, before bending the needle to prevent any reuse.
1:49 my dad actually passed out one time and was in the hospital for 1 day, and then he got a cramp on like... his intestines or something and he passed out again
0:10 it was really vergil status
Provoking..
Black clouds in isolation
The needle scene was the hardest to watch for me. I don't mind getting shots or anything, but the needles everywhere gets me.
This series is so awesome 😍 unfortunately you missed the last part of the twisting device because in the end it actually twists the poor mans head finally killing him
Also in the clip with the laser trap YES the head actually splits open like a cake the reason it did not happen to the doctor was that his collar had fake lasers the other guy wasn't so lucky though his head gets split into eight pieces which was btw a very clever easter egg because this was the 8th SAW movie^^
The reverse bear trap is a fan favorite in the series that shows up in multiple movies but it's the 7th movie were it finally works and the aftermath is very brutal
Love these movies. They're always completely wild and the twists are a lot of fun
3:58; The "reverse bear trap" is also known as "the jaw splitter" is the first ever trap from John "Jigsaw" Kramer voiced by Tobin Bell.
Fun fact: Amanda’s test is similar to David’s.
Plot twist the doctor is Jigsaw
You Are A Really Good Doctor You Know About Everything That You Can Do Anything! You Are A Great Person Helping People Of Their Injuries And Bleeds You Rock!
If you only watched the full laser cutter scene 😂, great video love seeing your explanations!
PATATA
0:53 I never heard jigsaw laugh before
Saw actually has an interesting story although the reverse bear trap really takes away from it as he usually made it deal with the persons problem. For example the same girl was also the one thrown into the needles and she was a former drug user that got clean after he tested her.
The X-ray guy mixed up jigsaws charts and they missed his brain tumor and then it got to an inoperable point
She was also one of the two people responsible for johns wife loosing her unborn child
@@MukuroMeki I mean she was honestly the main reason. She coerced Cecil to break in.
@@johnj4471 yeah its been a few years since I've sat and watched all of them but I do remember she was involved. I believe she died in the 3rd one but I could be wrong.
@@MukuroMeki yeah she was batshit crazy and he knew it and she failed his test
@@johnj4471 yeah its kind of sad because I liked her in the 2nd one. But at the same time once the full back story came out im shocked he tugged her along as long as he did
love it! This channel will never get old
My man is back at it again..great content as always
Thanks! What was your favorite Saw trap?
@@DoctorER that needle one was the worst
Omg i love saw and it's one of my fav horror movies. I love all those torture scene, they are so painful, so creative, so weird, so terrifying. But 3:52 this is for sure my fav.
The funny thing about the Jigsaw clip is that the Doctor had a fake collar but the detective was the one with the real collar.
Why the frick am I actually so invested in this series?!?
I would love too see you react too a fail compilation. Just too point out how dangerous the falls and accidents in that genre actually are.
3:30 funny when you know the sequel 😂
Hello, Doctor! I have a question regarding the reverse bear trap. So, in Saw 7 aka Saw 3D, Jil Tuck is the only victim we see who actually gets killed by it. Now, I'm no medical expert, but I do watch a lot of documentaries.
So my question is, since the trap rips your mouth open (and assuming you don't die from the extreme sock caused by pain which could result in a Heart attack) would you choke on your blood for a few minutes, or because of the extensive damage your brain would be punctured by broken bones from the cheeks and nose?
Love your videos!
I absolutely love this franchise. It's very interesting to watch horror movies that dabble with medical or anatomical things.
Out of everything in saw, the needle pit is the most messed up one. Apart from the one trap that twisted the guys arms and legs all the way around.
Spoilers
3:30 well you are right even you didn't know that. That shows that you are really watch many injuries and other Things in movie/Shows respect
i think the last one (the angel trap) left you shocked the most😂
Lol definitely a crazy one!
Just got the notification and immediately watched it. Great video as always Doctor ER. Love the fun edits in the video. Hope you had a great Halloween.
Please do a part 3 absolutely love watching videos like this ❤️❤️☺️
3:48 an actual spring lock
This reminds me of some RUclips video parodies known as "SpongeBob plays Saw" and they did imitate some scenes from the movies, like Patrick found a hole with syringes under a mat, and he threw SpongeBob, blue-haired guy, green-haired guy in, but the door was locked after searching for the key.
3:36 он ыыжел и все сам задумал
I see these doctors making expressions and screaming like "Oh, no!", but come on, you guys love to see these kind of stuff. Lol
I would love to see as many parts as it takes for you to react to all the SAW traps, it's my favourite movie franchise.
You didn’t finish the second one!!! Such a plot twist! Love your videos! I learn so much from them. Thanks for all that you do
3:17 when I was like 3 months I got a wrong vaccine
As someone who is VERY sensetive, the saw movies always make me wince
2:13 I thought it was a pilot speaking for a second then I realized.
The reverse bear trap rips your face apart when the timer runs out if you aren't able to take it off
Saw is amazing
Crazy! What was your favorite Saw trap?!
Exellent 👌🏻, thanks doc 😁👍🏻
I don’t know if he saw the scene already, but the reverse bear trap was used successfully if he’s interested in a part 3.
