blood from the mouth, now that you've said it, I can't stop noticing how its in every show when someone gets hurt, he had his legs chopped off...blood from the mouth.
Well for any injury. If the blood goes up it would probably go in those areas in the head I’d say.

Ok tbh I'm loving this reaction. I used to watch and love 1000 ways to die, I used to watch every episode. I remember some of them, but others not, so it's cool to watch it again.
1000 ways to die is actually based off truths. Every death did happen in the way it says, with minor changes to entertain the audience.
So while that one guy may not have died immediatly from getting slammed with the truck door. The door slamming his neck was the cause of his death, probably a while after it happened.
So yes this show is essentially a darwin award show for people managing to off themselves in some of the most 1 in a million chance.
Some of it seems plausible and some isn't. Like it or not, some of it is astronomical or does not make sense by the evidence...

To everyone terrified of their life because of this show.
Most of these are real, but they are extremely exaggerated and written to be mocked with humorous imagery. Even though it seems common as hell, it is INSANELY unlikely you would actually die by these ways, unless you redo the exact things depicted in the show, then your odds are increased.
But overall, you are more likely to win a sweepstakes than to die by something similar to this show.
It’s like the final destination movies. Overly exaggerated making fun of yada yada
i kinda prefer some of these to FD for two reasons: some are outrageously overexaggerated and just wild scenarios (like the first toilet one), and the narrator's commentary.
The scariest death is death 1000 because it reminds you that it doesn't matter how safe you play it you'll still die and be able to go on this show
The guy who got killed by the casket in the van is 100% possible. I delivered stuff in a Chevy van. I was empty except for six cartons of cigarettes and my hand truck. The way I always put it in the van it was on the passenger side. I had an accident where I stopped instantly. The passenger seat was tweaked so much that I am sure it could’ve killed in some ways.

The fumes from gasoline as well as the solvents used to clean engine parts is crazy flammable. The fact that both the rug and the toilet being filled with this liquid would have been the equivalent to a gas leak. The entire house would have ignited due to a concentration of fumes.
59:40 so likely it wasnt the dynamite (because hed be pink mist and so would others) but it was likely a blasting cap for the dynamite. basically its the ignitor that creates a small explosion that sets off the bigger explosion. dynamite wont just blow up from falling a couple feet but a blasting cap is definitely possible, unlikely, but possible

Something I can actually talk about here. 56:45 That specific type of plunger, while it is commonly used for toilets, it's actually a sink plunger. Some people do use it for toilets (it's not as effective), some people use it for both (ew), but usually toilet plungers are shaped differently, with the center coming back in on itself, to snugly fit the shape of the toilet. That type of plunger gets used at restaurants in the dish pit to unclog the sinks, I've personally had to do so numerous times at my previous job.

You underestimate how apathetic the average person when they are in discomfort themselves from the cold. While the circumstances are changed and exaggerated most of the deaths did actually occur. The wiki for the show says this death occurred in Thailand where a fan froze to death while watching a football game. There are some deaths that are straight up made up like the guy who gets electrocuted while thrusting into an electrified cow heart but more of the deaths are based on real occurrences than you'd think
I love 1000 Ways To Die. It's been one of my favorite shows since I started to watch it and make my mom watch it with me every time it came on.
I was really young when it came out and i couldnt stop watching it, then again i grew up loving slasher films haha
1:24 correct, gasoline doesn't explode like in movies unless there is the perfect amount of heat and sparks, air, and gasoline, so in this situation it just would've burst into huge flames for like 3 seconds then gone out immediately, and the water aswell would've dulled the flame too
27:12 broken ribs... when i was younger, me and my friends would wrestle. Jumping on top of each other. I was always fearful of broken ribs. And when people pile up on you, you can not breathe. Can kill a child in this way by just sitting on their chest.
To answer Doctor's question no toilets wont explode MythBusters busted that myth. The only way to ignite flammable liquids in a toilet you need a continuous flame from start of drop to entering bowl
It's the fumes that explode, and she poured the gasoline into the toilet, then closed the lid, trapping the fumes.
But is it enough to cause that big guy to get launched through the roof? I doubt it...
Then again, there are cases of exploding toilets causing severe injuries, so even if airtime isn't much of a thing, you might still be taking a dump on a cloud...

I've broken an aluminum ball bat before, the head snapped off and hit me below the left eye, I was unconscious for about thirty seconds bad swelling, bad bruising. If that had hit me sharp end first, hard telling how much damage it could have done, so can a swung wooden bat (swung by not a pro) have enough force to lodge in like that? Absolutely.

The lawn Darts can happen depending on the type of them and if your family keeps them sharp like mine did. Thankfully it was only the shoulder that was hit and a whole lot of cusing but again the darts were sharpened a lot and i swear were rapiers.

Technically, if put on ice, they could have resurrected him. Not sure what the requirements are for a person to be resurrected. Minor wounds can be fixed, and after pumping his blood back inside his body mixed with some tea (antioxidants), they jump start his heart. Last i checked, 97 minutes was the record for a resurrection.

Armored Vehicle doors are veeeerrrrry heavy. With the amount of force it took to make the door swing even that slow. I bet it could decimate someone's neck. One of those doors is usually the equivalent to moving 3 full size fridge doors.
Fun snake story; my mother had a pet anaconda when she was in college in the late 80s, and it had gotten fairly large. Well, it's favorite place to rest was around my mother's neck...While she was at her desk studying in her dorm room, it'd crawl up her and start to wrap around her neck. She learned pretty quickly that she was not strong enough to handle it, as any time she tried to remove it from her neck, it would tighten. She always had to simply wait for it to leave on its own, which eventually got to be too much to handle and she had to get rid of it...
yes, generally it's really not recommended for people to own snakes that get quite that big. snakes that get near that large can overpower a human being, and sometimes they don't know their own strength, it doesn't even need to be them attacking you for you to get injured. they're all muscle so if they're squeezing you to grab on and maneuver around your body, it can still be painful or cause injury with just one person handling them. most people who keep these (and usually not your average snake owner either) have systems where there are always two parties present if someone is going to be handling that snake.

This is a medical question. It is said that you can survive without your entire brain (except for your brain step) but then when people get shot or from that one guys death. He penetrated his skull and brain and died, how does that work?
Basically his brain got pierced by one of the skull fragments, causing a brain bleed, thus having pressure to his brain since the skull is not able to grow with the brain or its blood, unfortunately squeezing the brain, messing up his circuitry, thus ending his life. Or the brain stem was cut. I’m just guessing

If I remember correctly, I heard that dynamite, when it ages, it sweats off nitroglycerin. Basically meaning that it turned the dynamite from a fuse timed explosive to a contact explosive, which will make it explode on contact when it hits any hard surface; such as the bar floor for example. That’s all.

I do kinda take issue with the truck auto-start. By design, those cars can’t start in anything other than Park or Neutral. And they aren’t available for manual cars as far as I know.
In most states it's illegal to install a remote starter on a manual shift car, or at least it used to be.

Luckily he survived, but his leg was never back to normal

44:57 I had a really bad sunburn once on top of my foot I think they said it was a 3rd degree burn? It was at least a very bad 2nd degree burn cuz pretty much the entire top of my foot became a blister!! It was so bad I couldn't really walk at times and had to hobble around best I could!? It really sucked!!? I had been at beach and was sitting in chair most of the time and didn't put on sunscreen,like an idiot, so that's how it happened. Definitely won't do that again!! It hurt like hell!!!
