Love the mountain runs
Thank you so much man! Hope to get out in the mountains again soon!
I have a 2019 GLI.. not a fan of the new front and back end they did starting in 2020. But you blacking everything out makes it look pretty good looking. Nice build man.
thank you my friend! I agree with you 100%... I dislike the rear on the mk7.5 tbh but we will work something out :D
The did a Facelift in 2022 and changed the exhaust it looks different than the 20-21. I have the 22 Gli Autobahn Black Package In Pure Grey with like 8700 miles. I been having it for 2 years. It had 5 miles when it was delivered for me. It's a solid car other than some airbag issues I had early on. I have a 2023 Taos Sel and its decent too, It had 25 miles when I got it. Also I haven't been able to get a legit alignment on the GLI, which sucks. The Front and back looks dope, I didn't like the front that much at first but it's so beautiful in Pure Grey. I don't like it in black honestly.
@@JohnMK7 The put the Audi oval style Exhaust tips on it. It looks amazing and it sounds good.
@@JamarConley I do want these tips lol but they are expensive haha - down the road!
Super clean build bruv
Thank you so much!!
You got yourself a really good RUclips channel and a nice Jetta also. This thing pulls!
Hope to see big turbo in the future and some dusted folks on their GTs 😅
Thank you so much :) that really means a lot!! We will go big turbo soon ;) it's coming
clean car😮💨

Man your setup looks clean asf! i have a 2021 jetta gli and since the factory warranty is about to end. I've been looking at more mods for my jetta. ( I have an intake, inlet, inlet hose ) like you said tints are a must on any car. its crazy how Swan Vinyl can change the look of the car. Everyone swore up n down about the pilot sport 4s so i pulled the trigger on them the other day and I'm about to put them on in a couple days. Around black friday i will want to go stage 1 ecu and a tcu to pair with it. Neuspeed exhuast sounds the best for what i want so i might go that direction.
Thank you a ton bro! Your cars gonna be sick! Goodluck with everything :)
make sure you grab an intercooler
@@sleepy35th that is high on the priority list. Just hard balance 3 builds lol
Looks awesome man! I wanted to ask where you got the spoiler from.
Thank you so much man! I made a video on the spoiler. It is in the comments section and or description
clean car man. I have a 2019 GLI Unitronic stage 2, downpipe and inake. Im think about getting the ARM fmic. You think its worth the upgrade over the stock one?
Thanks man! I don't have an fmic yet so can't speak too much on it but I have heard good things about them. Some people say direct replacement is much better though. I would dig more into it!
Were there any struggles w stage 2. Awesome ride! Keep it going!
No struggles my friend, its well worth it
Nice car, did you install an intercooler with the Stage 2? I
Very soon i plan too!
Hey Man great stuff!! Great video!! I loved everything! I have a question, i have a 2022 GLI Autobahn as well as far as tuning brands between APR and IE Tuning which one is a better option as far as power and reliability. I cannot decide man 😂 because APR - does not have a stage 2 yet for our car. But other brands do.
Hey thank you so much man! :) i'm not sure about APR as i'm not familiar with them really. Buttttt I have had the ie tune for almost a year now and no hiccups aside from weird shifting, though they fixed that with the last dsg update. Plus they have trueflex freely available which is my next step up in power. Personally I plan on switching to EQT once these cars get accessport support.
i like the way your going with everything. I think I’ll do the same as far as tuning. IE tuning definitely the best option right now. Man thank you! I’m also a Volkswagen tech. I’m still learning a lot as i go. Love the brand!

@@MK7.5z goodluck friend! and same here just learning day by day lol. I am not a tech by anymeans, just enjoy the platform :)
Can you drop me the link to your spoiler! Nice build my guy!

I'm planing on upgrading my tires on a 2020 GLI basically stock, but thinking of getting a stage 1 tune. Which tires do you recommend?
Hey man! You will love it. I would go for either the continental dws06 or indy firehawk 500s. Both are great
@JohnMK7 thanks man! Keep up the good work, love your videos. Gives me some ideas on what to do on mine. Just hoping that next gen GLI won't go full electric. 😅
I really appreciate it bro! I will keep em coming! I hope the same haha
what wheels do you recommend for the pure grey 35th edition?
Anything goes I think! Just consider weight :) depending on what ya wanna do
Lol, i didn't realize this was a face lift until the wrapped snorkels were mentioned. They look so much better wrapped , I hate the stock red color .
LOL yeahhhh i wasn't a fan of those being red hahah
Do you have part numbers for the brakes
If you look up macan swap guide mk7 there is a really good guide that has all the part numbers for the swap
Wow coolio
Thank you haha

build lmao
The mk7 is such an ugly thing. How does vw go from a design like the mk 6 to a mk7?
I like both personally
They’re both great, but you’re off your rocker if you don’t think the mk7 is the better and more attractive car.
@@nehguhtiv6873 the mk7 is better in terms of features, tech, etc. looks more modern as well but you put a modified mk6 next to a modified mk7 and mk6 will look better. My mk6 is heavily modified and i literally cant picture a mk7 looking even nearly as good. The thing looks like an upside down boat. Idk what they were thinking with that design but it looks like something hyundai would design or kia.

are gli reliable ? in maintaince ?
The only issue I have had is the pcv valve!
Tuned for 20k miles almost
It's using hardware from the MK 7.5 GTI, so 2018? - Now, in North America....or 2013 - Now in ROW (Rest of the World). Engine and transmission are probably VW's most reliable engine and transmission combinations. An upgrade for simple longevity would be to install a port and direct injection system like - ROW. North America got cheaper out....and carbon buildup will destroy this engine if it is not taken care of
I'm surprised you upgraded the brakes. The stock brakes are from the MK7.5 Golf R-rotor and calliper. These are good for everything but extreme autocross. I've tracked my GTI, and the brakes will give up the ghost by the end of the day if driven really hard, but the brake fluid and pad upgrade did more to eliminate that. I never felt I needed an OEM plus upgrade to a 4-piston upfront.
The Porsche brakes are an awesome upgrade though..
*2015 - Mk7 GTI - performance (bolt on stage 1+ 3dr RACE CAR!!) - ECU, DSG, Brake pads, suspension, cat back exhaust, rear seat still used)
*2024 - Mk7.5 Jetta GLI Autobahn (None racecar) - Very stock
