- The ultra small DJI Neo is here and after using it for the past 2 weeks I am excited to share some of my favourite shots.
This drone is perfect for vlogging as it follows you without any remote and records audio, but you can also use it in many other ways. Using the DJI Goggles 3 and Remote 3 you can fly in full manual mode using it as an fpv drone, as well as connecting Neo to a standard remote or your phone for regular flights.
Weighing in at only 135g, you will have less restrictions on where you can fly, along with it being very portable. I took two of these on a recent trip without any issues whatsoever!
The image quality is reasonably good for the price point of £169 for just the drone or £299 for the fly more combo, and I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking to buy their first drone.
With all of the features at such a low cost, is this the best drone of 2024 so far?

DJI just awesome technology would recommend all day long , this has got to be the best you can buy at a very competitive price point, even more so if you have the goggles 3 and FPV controller .
That FPV mode is an amazing addition 🔥
More like amazing editing and exciting music to make the mid vid capture look better😅
Editing makes everything look better, no matter if you use a 4000 $ camera with a 2000 $ prima lens, you still need to edit to get the most "oompf" .
@@NL0Gwenster true but what I mean in this case it's mostly full frame camera shots and maybe 5 or so seconds actual Neo shots. this video is very dji ad style where if you don't pay attention the shots blur. but I have bought a Neo today even though the vid quality is subpar haha. hoping for a firmware update to adjust the pic quality rather than harsh sharpness and contrast only

Thank you! Spent some real time with it, trying the best lighting scenarios, mainly shooting sunrise and sunset to allow for motion blur and avoiding dark scenes 🎬💫

You need to apply for a position on the DJI marketing team this was insane. Also the only reason im not getting the neo is because it costs the same as avata 2 if you buy goggles 3 and fly more combo. And in addition to that the neo cant do dives or complex acro as the motors just turn off tell me if im wrong?
@@BobThef so glad you liked this one 🙏 fortunately I was actually part of this launch campaign but on Instagram - Dominic_Hayles and absolutely loved it 🤩 yeah that is a very fair point, the Avata 2 is my favourite drone to date… had a few situations where I have tried to push this too much in acro causing a tumble. It did recover but only just 😅

Everyting great, but the title means: your greatest shots by dji neo. In fact in this movie we have got something like 15-20 sec of actual shots by dji neo.

I was thinking the same as the description doesn't actually fit what's being shown. Very misleading.
I've watched dozens of tests and unboxings of this DJI Neo, almost everyone emphasized that it's a selfie drone. To this day I haven't seen a tester upload any selfie photos from this drone. add some photos and videos to download.
To be honest I have only taken a couple of photos and they aren't amazing, I can however add them to a future video for examples 🫡

Hi, what is the maximum distance if using n3 goggles in fpv mode?
@@pokoeuncal hi! It’s state at 13km but of course you will get less in most scenarios… it really depends where and if there are any obstructions 🙌
@@dominichayles that's wrong! accu-capacitiy won't last for more than 2,5km ... if you want to fly home. 😂
Does it fly as fast and as maneuverable as the Avata?
No. But it's less than half the price.

It really varied based on the scenario, when I could I would manually adjust shutter... the ISO I would never go above 400 and I avoided low light scenarios 🙏

I mean a 135g drone with a small battery isn’t going 2km… so the technical range is pretty pointless.
I had to stop and laugh at "10km Range" 😂
This is impossible because of the akku-capacity. If you're lucky you will achieve 2,5km ... and then have to come home. Or you run behind the drone for maybe 5km at a distance of a few meters and pick it up when it falls from the sky 🤣🤣🤣

When you shoot the video, any arial shots use drone. Mixing with other drone shots confuses people
All drone shots after the 2 second intro are taken on the Neo 🫡🔥
"10km range" *loses conection after going around a single tree at 500m*
