Can’t beat the price rather use an axe as or small machete for chopping

I’m guessing that little notch in the blade could either be for (if not sharp) for you to place a finger there and thumb on the spine for fine work/feathering or perhaps to ignite a ferro rod?? Either way it’s a big mofo!! Enjoy!

Ferro rod is an awesome idea, I'll give it a go....but I'm fairly sure it's something to do with sharpening??

Despite all my moral and ethical objections to that evil regime, I must admit I've had my eye on this one. Might pick it up if the kabar copy is a dud. Thanks for the video. Very informative.

That particular listing isn't shipping to the UK anymore, since I ordered - but there are others on there, exactly the same. It's huge and solid, I think it's the one. The sheath likely won't be a problem because it's 0.5kg and long, so it ain't falling out easily....but I'll give it a real world test soon....
