      Love your design Carl, I should have credited you on the video but I'll make sure I do it on a dedicated Esus review vid soon. Happy New Year matey, I've got a few ideas that we could collab on for an Esus 2 or something new :)

    I have a few of these frames but it's the first time I've seen the Gal 2 and I just had to order one. I'll have to wait a while as it's Chinese New Year and they aren't shipping for a while. Would be good to see a full review of it. Looks so customisable! Great videos, keep up the good work!

      @WildandWiredUK  3 дня назад +1

      I will do, it's so good and getting better every day. You can shoot it with an Evo-like straight-ish wrist. 22mm tips, it's possibly the perfect target shooter (with the Evo being a perfect hunter?). Thanks for watching! I'll record it this week if I can

      @@WildandWiredUK I have the original Evo without the clips and love it. It just feels so solid and steady in your hand. Very tempted by the carbon one but having seen your video on customising them I might just do something by adding scales to the one I've got. You're right about it being the perfect hunter.

    Mate i love hearing that the esus is a desigh thats shooting well for others, i actually designed it originally for myself to shoot and i loved it so much i had nick make them so everyone can get them 👌 i dont make customs as such i make naturauls so i would happily make you a naturaul one when i get back out the shed 👍

    Thank you for your videos once again bud, and you make me more eager to own a EVO every time you speak of it haha 👌🏿
    Hopefully I’ll have one on Friday ✌️
    I used a £20 frame off Amazon these last two weeks, it was going great till I caught my knuckle 3 times yesterday !! Iv never made that mistake before, and still unsure to how I managed it ?
    Anyway sir THANK’YOU 😅

      For me it's usually happens if I'm not careful and straighten my wrist too much (Evo style). It can set the alignment between ball and frame out, and I think that's when the hits start to happen...but I really don't know for sure...!!! It only happens for me on Chinese slings with weird handles

      Get an Evo Ergo and two Wasp Enzo clips. Put the Enzo clips into the grooves and then mark the hole, ideally with a braddle or awl or something sharp to get a clean mark. Then just drill 5mm holes and you've got yourself a low cost, super ergonomic clipped Evo for about 30 quid!!

    Happy new year to you too Nick. I'm currently rekindling the love for slingshots I had as a boy. Formally a wrist brace type slingshot user (BW), I've now decided, thanks to inspiring people like you, to go down the traditional flat band catty path. I've only been on that path for a few weeks, and I'm still struggling to find my ideal frame/set up etc. Is there any type of formula for working out what size frame I'm suited for, or is it just a case of trying lots of different ones?
    Please keep up the good work!

    • @WildandWiredUK
      @WildandWiredUK  29 дней назад +1

      hello mate, happy new year! There's no formula, it's a bit hit and miss. The frame width is all about your anchor point on your face. It's the most important part of the shooting cycle imho. 85mm frames tend to be above or on the cheekbone, 90mm tend to be just below the cheek, 95mm above the mouth and 100-105 around the mouth. Obviously differs from person to person but that's a rough guide. 90mm is the standard in the UK and US, or just the most popular, so it's a good starting point because there's a ton of options for you. 90mm is nice because it sits tightly under the cheekbone, which makes it a relatively easy anchor point to repeat reliably....but if you've got a nice distinguishing feature on your face that you can anchor from, go with that!! I'm about to record a video on adjustable frames, also good because you can find the best anchor point on your face with a bit of mucking about with frame width. Hope this helps! Simple answer, choose a 90mm and go from there :)

      @@WildandWiredUKmany thanks for your reply. That's very well explained, and easy to understand 👌🏻 I was quite excited when you showed the adjustable frame in this video. I was thinking it would be a perfect way to find my ideal frame size, without trying lots of different styles/shapes etc. I then found out it was made from titanium, so that's an absolute bonus as far as I'm concerned 😍. I look forward to your next video. Thanks once again.

      Have a look at Catapult Carnage, the Titan Hunter TTF is amazing - I've got a 90mm one but I need to upgrade it to a 95mm. Superb slings.

      At the moment in this cold weather I'm using Snipersling Black (rev 2) 0.5mm and tapered 22-14, but I'm about to change to 22-16 for testing (I think I can get more life out the bands). One of the big differences between the two slings is that the HGH has 27mm fork tips, which is better if you're using wider, heavier bands for hunting. The Evo has 25mm tips, which is also great for hunting. Both are great, I've never owned an HGH though, but they're super popular and a very successful design. I don't think you can go wrong with either, but all I can tell you is that the Evo Field Pro is godly!!

    Hola esa slingshot GAL de GZK es diseño de Jonathan Olguin Saavedra, diseño MEXICANO y fabricacion China, poreso puedes ver grabado en el mango de la resortera el logotipo de JOS, hasta hoy es el presidente de la federacion mexicana de tiro con resortera, gran entuciasta norteño de este hermoso deporte y aunque la resortera GAL tiene mucha ingenieria en su diseño no es su creacion mas vanguardista la cual para mi ver es la TERMINATRIX de JOS que es una resortera extraordinaria.
    Saludos Y a todos feliz año 2025...
