We took the horse and buggy, some of the classic cars and those little yellow bugs....lots of fun. Hi Mike. That park is known for the best Pina Coladas! Also, when you came out of the park and started walking you passed a house with a hedge in the front in the shape of a snake, right before you went to where those guys were doing construction. The snake hedge house is a dear friend of ours! We always go & visit him whenever we’re in Varadero and so do my parents. He has a banana tree in his yard☺️

Great Video Mike true to Varadero. Been going to Varadero for 10 + years now. I know it was very hot. Just a little info in Parque Josone you missed the best Restaurant. La Gruta El Vino. Its only open after 7 pm. By reservation but there usually is staff there that can do a walk in reservation. 25 USD for a monster kobe beef steak with Lobster, drink and ensalada. Big pile of shrimp on your steak as well. And its in a cave.
What street/block did you get off the bus at? And roughly what block were the “waterfront” restaurants? Going back in February & would love to check out some of these places!

Do not change your money with the tour guides when you arrive in Cuba, in general they give you lower rate because they think you don't know any better .

Hi Mike I was watching and thought that something was wrong, and sorry to say that your convertion is wrong. For the 550 CUP (taco and beer) you would pay around 21 USD. A lobster 2500 CUP you will pay around 104 USD. So, not that cheap. 😐
