Don’t limit yourself to Cuba. You may also gain subscribers by choosing to travel to another destinations as most Americans can’t go to Cuba and may not find value in your videos. Hello Mike, Here is an idea for a video, how the prices are better ($/day) if you want to have a longer trip for months and what can you do in resorts to wash clothes or cut your hair and have what you need during longer trips, accommodations for long trips in Cuba. You could give examples of the prices for a week and than for 2 months ($/day). Good places for this. Maybe also as a Canadian what to prepare ( insurances or anything else ) for longer trips

The Cubans are victims of their government and powerless the change it. A beautiful bargain tourist destination if you can adjust to problems that come with staying there for a vacation. Best of luck with your planned reports from SE Asia. A bit further but for a longer stay vacation at some amazing places at a real bargain you cant beat Thailand, Vietnam or Cambodia.

We’re here at the Barceló Solymar - per your cheap and cheerful recommendation- two days left it’s been a great couple of weeks … we were upgraded after the hot water stopped and our locks failed in our bungalow suite … but we’re loving being next to the snack bar in the only bungalow with a beach view! We’ll continue to watch - if you’re looking for suggestions and of we’ve missed it - recommend some places to stay in Havana - did the day tour and loved it ! We’d spend a week there just museum hopping!

Hey Mike. Great video as always. I love the idea of doing the 3 star resorts aswell to include people with bigger families and cost friendy. Sandra and I went to Hotel Playa Coco beside Caribe in Cayo Coco and we enjoyed our stay very much so. I think there are a lot of places that are 4 star that feel like a 3 star and vice versa. We will be heading to Veradero on Tuesday, hoping to catch you there. I love the Thursday night live with a Q and A vibe. One thought i had, as a parent I try to never involve my kids when it comes to the internet, but , maybe a video on your families favourite 3 resorts to visit, no matter where. Keep up thr great work. Lots of pics this week from Cuba.

My fav 3 star resorts are Sol Cayo Coco and Sol Cayo Santa Maria. The landscaping and boardwalks feed my soul. Surprisingly, the prices for these can be higher than some 4 star resorts.

Great plans Mike , I'll follow you, Right now my life as limited time for vacation and a fast paced job so the maximum days in the most quiet beaches is what I need. That being said I look foward to retirement (few more yeats) were spain, asia is on my bucket list

Looking forward to the new content, whatever it may be … because regardless of the location, we still get to be a part of the unique Finding Fish experience! Selfishly, I can only hope to see some Mexico and DR content, but it’s all great stuff. Btw, when you panned to that shot of majestic clouds over the horizon, my first thought was that those moments just make you feel glad to be alive.

FINDING FISH: First, THANK YOU soooo much for reviewing the Resorts, I'll be using your work for future trips. Must be back breaking work going to one resort after another! The Cayo Coco Coast and similar coasts along the eastern shore of CUBA, get a lot of Wind 24/7 and it keeps the bugs down, but it also churns up the water. Swimming in murky salt water is not a good idea, so when you review a Resort, if there are any places where there is clear beach water, could you mention the location? Top 5 Best Buffets? Thanks for giving Temperatures only in Celsius. Have you used Cuban Medical Services and if so, how was it compared to OHIP? Not asking for fine details, just an overall review. Could you review Snorkeling spots at Resorts? If you around the La Gaviota Commercial Center in Cayo Coco, could you do a review of it and show the gift shops? It's -2 Celsius in Toronto, snow wednesday.
