One of your best, Christian. Time after time, I marvel at how you bring things together to motivate your students without giving them false hopes. Ev Fedorenko's research shows how language is really a social construct. Since 80% of language exchanges take place between non-native speakers, one might assume that the "readiness" to interpret what's being meant and sympathy for your interlocutor is just as strong as in a native/non-native encounter, if not stronger.

Recently I tried to speak with person who knows English and she told me that : "you have mistakes in your sentence composition" and after that I realised how simply people can be turned fro the right way.Because after such words some people could give up so we must keep on going and don't let some complicated moments to miss our main aim.I wish all of you good luck!!!

Hello! Thursday is my favorite day of the week because you tell us intristing things and I have just found my favorite english teacher on youtube-it's you.I would love if I get homework because I have a big exam in English in over 4 years, it is hard for me to believe that I will succeed.

Again, you are giving us support to face our fears and keep going. We have to believe that even with little we can get there. We are pavementing our journey, so all experiences we get are valid and helpful.
The experiment with native speakers and non-native shows us that there is empathy and willingness to help the non-native because what matters is to convey and to be understood .
But the most enjoyable all of this is the fact that we can humanize our learning.
Daily Digest is making all the difference. Thanks.

You are very popular and you deserve it. One of the reasons may be that it is easy to understand you. This gives pleasure and it increases your popularity. Still, there is a danger that the student will form a false self-esteem.

Absolutely fascinating! Have been thinking about it all day! I really like what you said about simplicity. That it's not stupidity and it's not ignorance! I always ask my students not to focus on looking for fancy words snd grammar structures but to use simple words in conversation. The only goal is to communicate your ideas effectively and to understand the other person. Thank you again!

the word "hand" has its origin very likely in the old goth language (Visigoths/Ostrogoths) regarding to etymological research of germanic languages...just saying
And about the "hot hand" ...Well in my oppinion that has nothing to do with - "believe" - but with uncountable hours of practice combined with the ability to be totally in the moment without a need of extra thinking respectively to be able to blend out any outer distraction but just letting the in uncountable hours of practice trained automatism "flow" so to say....which would also work as a methaper for learning any language in order to become "fluent"..just saying
