Dude I'm also an English teacher and I 100% agree. I lived and taught English in Korea for 3 years and some of the methods/ideas taught in classrooms were a complete waste of time. It makes me feel bad for students who might not know any better and end up wasting their time and money taking classes that don't bring them any closer to their actual English goals. Great video man. Respect from the United States 🇺🇲👍

I'm going to subscribe to your channel. You spoke kindly of another teacher, and that's rare. So you're a good teacher, and - which is more - you are a man.

So, I'd like to say just thank you for your work. I believe that even when I have some type of "fluency", I will still watching your video because not only are they interesting and motivational, but they are also trying to show another way to live. I've started studying English in January 2019 and after 10 months I am able to communicate with other people, support almost any conversation, and also I lost my fear of speaking. During these months I didn't complete any book, but I have English classes almost every day, speak with myself and people and trying to use English in every possibility. Finally, I've found that if I want to include some new parts of grammar or vocabulary into my "active set", I just need to start writing letters, comments, essays, etc.
So again, just thank you, Christian.

The content, as you've said, might not be revolutionary, but the way you transmit the concept and ideas so passion is the main thing that becomes you in a revolutionary and disruptive teacher.

Hii christian, How are you doing? I hope you fine. My name is
Felipe Veloso, i'm 28 years old, I live in a small city called Santa Cecília,
State of Paraíba, in the northeast
    region of Brazil.
First of all, i would like to thank you for your effort and dedication
in share your language learning knowlege and help us with enthusiasm and
    persistence. You inspire me.
Personally, you help me a lot. I started to learned english
a year and a half ago. I've never studied english before, but after this time,
today, i could read, understand and speak english, and this was PARTLY possible
because your EXAMPLE. You have shown me that learn a new language is possible
    for everyone.
But, there is one thing that happened with me. When i started to study english, i was totally
beginner. I just spoke portuguese and I had no ideia about you, because I did
not understand anything in English yet, it took almost one year until i finally
    found you.
Finally, when I gradually started to understand english, I
started to reading and listening, then I was able to find you in the internet,
    in your RUclips Channel.
    This is my history.
What happened to me is the same with most of the english
students in Brazil. Here most of the english students dont understand nothing
of english. Here the level of proficiency in english laguage is very low.
Since they dont understand english at all, most of them can not find you.
They can't get good quality information about language learning.
Brazil is a huge country and according to IBGE (Brazilian Institute
of Geography and Statistic, that has a population counter), Brazil's current
population is 201.6 million of people. But, just 3% of this people is fluent in
    english.
Even so, this people want to learn english. And i think that
i could help these people. So I started a portuguese youtube channel, and i
want to share with brazilians good information about language learning.
All the content of my channel is subtitle in portuguese, so,
the brazilian people could understand well.
I would like to invite you for a brief skype interview and
you could speak a little bit about yourself and about your experience with
languages, give some useful advices about language learning.
I know you probably is a very busy person, but, if you couId
help me, i would be grateful for your effort to share more good quality
informacion about language learning for people who speak portuguese.
    Cheers, Felipe.

Hi Christian!!! My only feeling for you is gratitude. I start asking some questions about english methods because of your insights. For me, you are not only a english teacher. You are as a philosofer for me. Only a philosofer can tell to the subscribers that he got happy that they are unsubscribing. Thats why I follow you. Because you love real things... not only money. And even if sometimes I disagree with you, it's normal between people, because people are diferent between themselves. But I like to know your point of view.
I only want to tell thank you teacher!!!

Of course, MY hard work is the main part of my progress in English, I get it. You didn't put the knowledges in my head like some USB-card. But without your mentorship, without your brilliant ideas and the motivation you have given to me, I wouldn't reach my current level. Yeah, there is still a lot of work to do, but I'm getting better faster than ever since I've found your channel. Thank you, sir! Hope you don't mind if I continue watching your videos!

I agree , there isn't any magic tecnique to learn English, only try to do things as much as you can in English: listening, speaking, reading, writing. You don't have a revolutionary method , but you know how motivate your viewers and , so important, you are never boring ,being able to keep the attention of your students. Thank you.

Hi Christian!, i am really sorry for that teachers who think you are wrong. Which kind of teachers there are really teaching in schools?. If they do not know, that learning a lenguage requieres hard work and continuity, we are lost. However i am thankful that the are still people like you. Learning a lenguage is not a secret, is not just for a specific group of people. Learning a lenguage is possible for everyone. You only really have to wish it, like all things in your life. Otherwise you will never be able to reach it.
I am learning german already for 6 years and i still do it. I live in germany and althought you never stop to learn. On the street, with your friends, everywhere you go or are you can still learn a lot of new things. The question is... Do you really want it?. It is allways a motivation question. I really appreciate your work, lets keep going! (sorry for my bad grammatik, im still working on it =)). Liebe Grüße!
