That's food for mother nature, anytime that river swells it will take all that stuff away,
I'm impressed with this little dozer and operator, doing a great job keeping up with the dump trucks I just hope that road holds up due to the fresh soil mixing with the river, surprised they didn't encase the site, pump the water and start with big rock first then gradually build up a good solid foundation.
I saw a documentary about Palm Jumeirah in Dubai (A manmade island on the shape of a palm tree). They used more or less the same technique but they got the sand from the bottom of the sea itself usin huge Dutch dredgers. They then used huge vibrators to get rid of any air between the sand pores. Finally, the protected the edges with huge rocks.
I guess they're working with limited resources, depending on which country you're dealing with and how much money They Are willing to burn, it looks like they're doing their very best. I just wonder what mountain they're tearing down.

Looks like a pond or stagnant water which is probably shallow so sealing the pathway then compacting very well and dumping extra material and then compacting again should work perfectly.

I guess that’s cheaper than constructing a bridge, although the enviornmental impact is potentially greater.

• I was really glad to see no one got hurt in this highly coordinated task despite the risks
• Also glad to see so many people and equipment working so very well together to get the job done
• The Bulldozer operator has to be one of the best keeping up with all those trucks

Looks alot like a Komatsu dozer. As for pushing so much material. Not so much. Probably would have been better to go with a bigger dozer so your trucks don't sit as long or fewer trucks.
Are they going to add any culverts for the water to flow either way?

Aqui onde moro lembro de duas obras parecidas com essa, porém primeiro foram jogaras pedras grandes na parte onde fica a agua. As duas obras foram no mar, uma delas um cercado para uma area de marina, como se fosse um quebra mar, e nessa colocaram pedras gigantescas na base, e depois menores e terra.
E na outra um aterro invadindo o mar, onde também foram colocados inicialmente pedras grandes, e depois uma terra em cima.

I've seen alot of these videos. I'm amazed at how much wetlands they fill in. How many birds and animals are losing their homes by filling these wetlands in? Most countries you would not be getting away with this.

It will create fish wars. The fish in the two ponds will evolve seperately then during a major storm the wall will break causing the fish to mix leading to the mother of all fish battles.
