Insects can't feel pain the way human do. We humans(including mammals) and insects are entirely a different species. All living things evolve to adapt to their own environment much more efficiently.
My conclusion is they can feel them, but not process them. Simply because they aren't superior enough to have feelings or a pain receptor.

I get your point that even parasites just try to survive but they are an unnecessary threat to humans, so we try to get rid of them, which is the way we humans as a (more or less) social species just try to survive.
I volunteer in animal sanctuaries in Costa Rica and Germany from time to time and the animals there also get parasites sometimes, which we have to kill, because they don't have any important role in any ecosystem but kill animals which are important. Therefor I rather save a parrot or sea turtles before I spare a tick's or a worm's life. I'd see it critcal if anyone made a video about a bee or even a cockroach getting killed, though cockroaches are far from endangered, even they have a role in many ecosystems. Most parasites can't even be eaten, which makes them in any point useless.
