Love y'all!
#channelupdate #gamingcommunity
This is actually welcome news for me. While I understood the reason why you started doing reaction videos, it’s your gameplay videos that made me a fan. I enjoy watching someone who just plays the game your way and if you mess up, that’s fine. Just laugh it off and continue. Most of all just continue being yourself.
This is so lovely to read, thank you so much. It means a lot to me, truly. ❤️
So happy that you are continuing with gaming. We are family.
❤️❤️❤️
Keep up the grind.
Good luck! I enjoy your gaming so glad to see you focus. Always up for a collab 🎉
Love u bud! Hope to see you back on YT soon. 🫡
As one of the few from the NW Metal crowd, who already did enjoy your Game Sessions, well ill stay anyway. Calm yourself Down, RL should claim you for the next 2 Weeks, STay healthy and happy Holidays!
Thank you so much, and happy holiday wishes back at you! ❤️
I’m proud of you! You should definitely do what you love, and this way you’ll never work a day in your life… keep learning your craft, your niche and it’ll come together over time. Keep it up! Good luck! 3:25
Thank you so much! I’ll continue putting in effort to become a better content creator and make you proud. 🤗
A hint - Last 5 sec's is the energy you need to keep this thing going, while not being Charlie (Moist man) or somebody else but you. >_>
PPL are going to your channel to, well.., you. So trying to walk somebody else's path is not quite it I'd say.
Stay awesome!
P.S. about content - well it's up to you, as it always was, and you cannot do wrong there as long as you doing it with style (that you have) and self-awareness (totally have). ;)
Do not over-do, and yet be happy with stuff you're doing, cuz if you're not having fun - nobody else will either.
Hugs and kisses ^^
Thank youuuu for your lovely comment & everlasting support! 🤗❤️

You did a really good job with this announcement Femke, and the love of your community is obvious in the comments. I think that live streaming first looks on Wednesdays would be awesome. I'm up for some moderating, just say the word my dear 😊
Thank youuuu ❤️❤️❤️
Aww 🥰 I feel so seen.
I've been here for the gaming and not for the reaction content and was hoping you wouldn't switch over to that. So happy personally. Best of luck, thank you, and I hope you grow and enjoy the channel to your heart's content ❤
Thank you for your kind words. 🥹❤️
I can tell it was a very difficult decision but I’m glad you’re choosing to do what feels better for you. At least you got to validate that it’s not your personality since you’re a very fun person to watch, it’s just gaming being a very crowded part of RUclips ATM as you mentioned. I will keep watching 🫡
Thank you so much! I’m so glad I have the support of my community. I’m so blessed with y’all! ❤️
Sorry to hear that, because I really enjoyed watching your reactions. But if it doesn't feel right for you, then you shouldn't do it. All the best for you.
Thank you!
W
Sorry to see you go, your reactions were very enjoyable. Best wishes for your future youtubeness!
Thank you so much!
You can try Left 4 Dead 2 + you can get a ton of add-on campaigns or try your luck at the Survival maps.
I think one of the reasons gamers might not like you so much (yet) is because a lot of them want to see the best plays possible. For me it's the opposite, I found you exactly because you're a first time player and you just go ahead with your style, which I really like.
Your personality is really great for this, so I bet sooner or later you'll find your crowd 😉
You’re such a sweetheart. 🥹 I’m totally fine staying small and/or having slow growth, as long as I can keep being myself. I don’t think I’ll ever be a perfect-gameplay girl, as in real life I’m equally as derpy. 😂 I’m so glad I found a crowd who enjoys my banter, and I appreciate you for always being here. ❤️

An idea for your free Wednesday: find a group of RPG players nearby and start playing tabletop D&D with them.
This is an amazing idea! I’ll definitely keep the D&D concept in mind for future endeavors on this channel! 🤗
As one of the people who allready subscribed, when you only had gaming content, I do agree with you: People do like you. One thing I miss this days are channels where you can feel the creators behind it do what they do out of passion. There are allready enough reaction channels. So I appreciate you saying "Gaming videos are my passions". By all means you really should follow your passion.
As for wednesdays: Why don't you do some kind of cozy wednesday? It's the middle of the work week, so why don't play some relaxing little mindless games for after work? Nothing epic like a RPG, just something one whould play for an hour, for two or maybe five. People might show up for you instead for a specific game, to wind down and to be surprised which game it will be today.
Thank you for your words of support, and your feedback on what to do on Wednesdays! 🤗 I appreciate you. ❤️
It does seem like it’s difficult for gaming “let’s play” channels to grow and yet there are ones out there that are very big. I wish I knew the secret so I could tell you but Unfortunately I do not. Maybe it just takes time to build an audience and some of those channels already have a loyal viewer base. Maybe streaming on Wednesday will help the channel grow. It’s worth a shot 😅. Maybe there’s a way to stream on multiple platforms? I don’t know. Might be something to look into to increase your reach. Either way I hope it works out and I think that your channel will continue to grow because you’re very entertaining and fun to watch / listen to. A fun personality goes a long way in this realm I think.
You’re such a sweetheart! Don’t worry, my YT midlife crisis wasn’t about growth per se. I wanted to give my subscribers more variation content, but all my attempts shot me in the foot unfortunately. I’m just glad that I now know exactly what I want for my channel’s “genre” after having tried something else, and maybe in the future I can expand on the amount of series I’m doing at the same time. 🤗 I appreciate you wanting to help out. ❤️
😀
You gotta enjoy what you do.
If you feel your vocation is a vacation, that's the best.
I will definitely miss your comments and verbal explosions.
Mid-life crisis ? I'm not believing it, not one bit. You are still a kid... stay young with your mind, and the rest will follow!
Thank you for your support 🤗
Reaction content has been beaten to death. For me to watch it, it has to be special in some way. These days I really only watch the ones that do some music theory analysis, or that have a really truly unique take on reactions, like you grew up in a cave and were never exposed to music except banging two rocks together.
I personally also never watch music reactions, but I used to. My dad really likes to watch them tho, and I know some other people who watches them. I’m personally more like you, and like more in-depth type content when it comes to music. Like an evaluation of the editing, certain creative choices, or maybe more of a documentary style video. Let’s plays are timeless tho. 😤👌🏻
Be aware that you hit a SERIOUS outlier with nightwish. The "nightwish army" is a real phenomenon. I had thought you picked them intentionally for that reason.
There are a couple of other artists with similar following but it's a small well, and most other reactions just aren't going to get the same views.
IF you decide to do reactions again, I'd strongly suggest you use those few lighning rod artists to build enough of a following to keep through other reactions.
I seriously didn’t know. 😂 My friend/manager is part of Nightwish Army and told me I should do one, showed me a video of them live and I was sold. I had no clue it’d blow up like it did! Even still, my other reactions had an average of 15K views, which is still massive for a small channel. I’d definitely call reaction content a YT hack as of right now. You don’t earn anything from it though, so it’s purely a love game until you’re *big* and are maybe able to earn something from merch and such.
I'm here for BG3 mostly. That said, I really do like Floor Jansen's vocals and stuff, it's just not something I would watch on this channel...
Game suggestion: increasing the frequency of BG3 episodes
So sad to hear you are suspending reactions! I hope you will start again on another channel. But it is true that Nightwish is an outlier. I was looking forward to your initiation into Jinjer, Sabaton, Epica and other Euro metal Gods, (many with personal connections to the Valkyrie Goddess, Floor Jansen.) On the other hand I am also a fan of your gaming videos, and want you to enjoy them. So good luck with whatever direction you feel is right for your channel!
You’re the best! I’m very grateful for your support in all of my endeavors. You’ve been here to support me for a long time now, and I really do appreciate it. 🤗 Perhaps in the future I can do a few members & Patron only reaction videos!
I still hope you finish off SOMA, because you only do got 6-ish hours left, but up to you. But gettung it down and out of the wsy isnt a bad idea.
I’m planning to finish SOMA for sure! I’m already on about half of the game, and it’s so short that it doesn’t make sense not to finish it. 😄
Reaction videos seem to be a long-term version of a "flavour of the month" - people like thm for now, and it's a new source of views, but I am waiting for the drop-off.
It's your channel, so do what makes you feel most at home. It may have alienated some of your loyal followers anyway.
I know you are a busy lady, but have you considered building up a backlog of videos for specific games? I have enough footage for 10 Skyrim vids prepared, if I ever get round to setting up my channel.
By focusing on one game, you get better at it, more immersed in the story, and don't start thinking: "what is the Sneak button for this? No, not dance!"
Good luck with your future endeavours here.
Unfortunately working with a backlog has a few downsides, just like it has upsides. Working forward too much makes it impossible to take people’s feedback left in the comments, as the content has already been filmed and/or edited. Of course a few episodes works, but 3+ up front would create issues. Aside from that, tbh I also don’t have the energy and time to work forward that much. Currently I’m doing it bc I’m going to NL in a few days, and my past 4 days have all been focused on content creation, and the upcoming 2 days will be as well. I just don’t have the energy to do that for multiple weeks to create a backlog. But the biggest thing to me is not being able to communicate w my community through my content if it’s pre-filmed content. HOWEVER I’m still a YT baby and I still have so much to learn about which decisions are best to make, that my opinion and working methods will probably change. 😄
@@fififemke You make a good point. Playthroughs like yours are a learning curve as much as anything else, and people want you to do "this cool quest" or try "that unique interaction".
Exactly! But I think for most cases, where people know the game or a different type of game, your way of doing it does make the most sense. SOMA for example could easily be pre-recorded as it’s a very linear storyline.
Yeah - your top 5 views are all reactions - I've watched (not played) all the games you review, but music has wider appeal.
You have 3 good bands to start with, but you'll go far with those three (sorry - Tool not a fave of mine).
PS - I won't unsubscribe, but I did switch off notifications.
No need to apologise!
I won't lie, I'm a bit of a Warning reaction maniac, so I was here solely for that so I will be unsubscribing, but as you say it's nothing personal!
It's a very courageous thing to know your limits and when you need to pare things back, so good on you!
Maybe I'll drift back this way in the future, but either way I wish you the utmost success with your channel! 😊
Thank you kindly, and thank you for being here for the duration of my reaction journey. 🤗 I’m glad I got to know about The Warning and their community!
@fififemke You're always welcome in The Warning Army! ❤️
Indeed - (hoping you still get this notify even when unsubscribed) - I tried above to find some middle ground with FiFi that she review a metal cover of a Witcher soundtrack item.
Out of respect that Fifi had reacted to 3 top bands, I remain subscribed but just disabled all notifies.
TLDR: a mmorpg that is storyrich, in which the community loves, but its not for everyone and may not be the best for recording or streaming, but doesnt hurt to try. But you may have some fun but can ultimatly decide when finishing up the free content (first campaign and season) (also best to play the game from offical launcher from there website, rather then using steam)
I would suggest Guild Wars 2 (first games story beats only get brought up a handfull of times, as Guild Wars 2 story is contained to itself) But its a wonderful and gun game but not for everyone and not the best content for recording/streaming, the game is more story rich then fully focus on gameplay.
But the first campaign and season is free (though the first campaign is old fashion, i think its how Guild Wars 1 story was executed)(and the first season is a mess, kinda wish they extended the free story up to season 2 where things are less messy on how Arenanet handled the story, even though your character may not be talking for 1 and 2 (mostly because a chnage of voice actors and techical mombo jombo not ready for season 2 but ready for Heart of Thorns DLC))
But if you do so choose to play, you can play the story quests with up to 4 other people, but you will be the only one being able to interect with things, they can only really help in combat.
There is 5 races you can choose to play as:
Charr, tall beast like feline race, they are war like but militaristic, they are the one of most techically advance race, more like using WW1/2 type tech
Sylvari, there basically plant humans
Human, do i need to say more.
Norn, shape shifting but spiritually and big human.
Asura, there basically short, vanilla/white colored, who look kinda like goblins but who are smart and who's ego's go through the sky, there the other techically advanced race, but there tech is more magi-tech.
Id personally suggest Charr, but thats only because i like the Charr very much, got nice animation, and voice actors, got nice stoty invovlement too. or choose Asura because there small and have pretty nice animations and voice actors.
I’ve actually played GW2 for quite a bit! I come from MMORPGs, remember? 😂 Loooove GW2 btw and still occasionally download it and play a little. I’m a Human Elementalist main, but then I found out how hard Elementalists are to play when you get into dungeons… I started reconsidering LOL. I picked up Revenant, which I really like as well! I think my latest was a Ranger. 🤔 Thus far Elementalist is my fav, but I need to get better at dungeons. I really like how GW2 has so many diff playstyles. You can level up doing world exploration, doing quests, doing ANYTHING! I haven’t played it enough honestly. If I start again I’ll let u know so we can play a little together. 😄
@fififemke to be fair you aint supposted to do dungeons solo, and elementalist are squishy as they have the lowest armor and health (basically glass cannon).
But id like to see a whole playthrough if your daring, but uh...1 problem, ONE CHARR! only charr, lol, no bit thats part is all you, i just like charr.
more the warning please 🙂
😂😂😂
Interesting crossover for you - The Witcher is not only a game - and a 2 season Netflix series (series reactions are halfway between gamer and music reactions) - but now there's a metal artist who covers some of the Witcher music too.
Can I tempt you back to react to either the series or the covers Dan Vasc releases ?
