    Call 911, yell out for help, do something to try to help your baby. I don’t understand how anyone could think for even one moment that it’s ok to bury a baby in your backyard. It’s not a dog.

    • @muchsunshine6037
      @muchsunshine6037 4 года назад +2

      Did you bury your dog in your backyard?

    • @littlemissmaybe480
      @littlemissmaybe480 4 года назад +3

      Much Sunshine. Actually, a lot of people do that. It’s not uncommon and it’s legal. I personally have not, but my point wasn’t about the dog. I could have easily said, it’s not a hamster. So I see no relevance to your question.

    • @littlemissmaybe480
      @littlemissmaybe480 4 года назад

      Miss Wiggins, I hope the “good point” remark was sarcasm.
      So if we change the way we think about murder, then murder becomes acceptable? ...You may wanna change your thinking on that. ;)

    • @littlemissmaybe480
      @littlemissmaybe480 4 года назад

      Miss Wiggins My point is, it doesn’t matter her reason or what she was thinking. It’s wrong. That poor baby never had a chance. She had a responsibility as an adult woman to take care of that child and she didn’t. I don’t really care why. Ya know?

    • @littlemissmaybe480
      @littlemissmaybe480 4 года назад

      Miss Wiggins I was referring to what the other people on the thread were talking about. We could go back and fourth all day long but the bottom line is , and what I personally am referring to, is that she completely disregarded her baby. There’s no excuse. Abuse is not an excuse. She was a smart young lady who knew what she was doing.

  • @moniques.8465

    The fact that she searched “how to get rid of a baby” shows her true intentions. She never called for help or performed CPR. Never returned for prenatal care or call the OBGYN back.

    If the baby was born alive, the parents and brother would've heard her cry. She probably wouldn't have been able to get up straight after giving birth to silence her baby before she cried. Even though this sounds like a feminist thing to say I'm definitely not a feminist but this is a bunch of middle aged men trying to tell each other how a teenage girl felt in the hardest time of her life.

    My whole full term pregnancy LIVE birth you couldn’t tell I was pregnant. My son was 7 pounds 7 ounces 21 inches long. I was 5’7 130 pounds gained 40 pounds, I just looked like I gained weight. I carried my son towards my back. She could have secretly went to the drs, she could have faked a illness when she went into labor and she could have gave the baby up in a closed adoption,went home and celebrated having her stomach back. She murdered that baby either way still born or live birth. When they told her she was pregnant and refused to get any form of help that’s when she became guilty in my book. IF my daughter gets pregnant unplanned (she’s responsibly on birth control)she knows she can come to us and we will figure it out together. Her parents failed her and they are guilty too. She was an anorexic and that plays into it. I can’t imagine the dr. knowing this did not immediately talk to parents or call her psychiatrist or a psychiatrist with experience in anorexia. The anorexic patient will starve themselves and thus starve the baby. I have helped anorexic patients. Hearing the mother cheering her on to losing weight is shocking but I have seen mothers of anorexics do this in my presence. When no one knew anything about anorexia a lay person in Canada who had 2 anorexic daughters who she helped recover opened up the 1st place to help them she was overwhelmed with desperate patients both male and female. She came up with life saving ways to manage them & help them and weighed them backwards. I had a mother with a daughter who had gotten better visit her and then I realized why the girl was so obsessive with her eating. I told the mother you must stop the calorie counting and quit telling her what foods and drinks she cannot have, let her drink an occasional soda and never ever say they have too many calories. I asked for a coke because I was watching how they interacted and the mom said we don’t drink pop, too many calories. And I said I am having a coke and so is your daughter. Aspartame in your diet drink is horrible for you. I agree sodas are not good because of the acid, and the caramel coloring, but an occasional one won’t kill you. And when I go out with your daughter she eats a regular meal and enjoys it. You have to learn how you affect her. And stop doing it. Unless you want her to die. So I cannot understand why a dr. would tell an anorexic teenager with a mental illness with a severe eating disorder would be alright and why he did not develop a plan with a psychologist or better a psychiatrist and a team to help her. There is always an underlying reason in their family history why they get an eating disorder. This child has had it since she was very young. It all could have been prevented.

    Amazing defense attorney, I think they have a good chance with this case by the look of just this opening video. Still have to watch the rest. If the baby was born stillborn and the medical examiner really was wrong about the burned bones than, the interrogation and them making her vulnerable to confessing to what didn’t even happen, makes this case very interesting.. tauresa ttauresa she said it under pressure with out an attorney in an interrogation it makes a lot of sense after watching this whole video the baby was stillborn and there was No evidence of burning, she only admitted to it because she was under pressure and the police wouldn’t take the true story that skylar at told over 20 times to them and they refused to believe it than after she confesses to something that never happened and (physical evidence proved it) the doctor said no signs of trauma, meaning no burns.. the medical examiner made a mistake, she admitted that to police also. Just because someone admits to something in an interrogation doesn’t always 100% mean they did it, it was a rush to judgment by police and medical examiner.

She wouldn’t have known or suspected her current boyfriend. You don’t stay pregnant a year. Even a young kid knows that. So that is the one thing the prosecutor should have made clear in their arguments. But she was smart and there was no way to tell anything about her baby.

    Guess what. I was a tiny 110lb 14 years old, 14!, And suspected I was pregnant. I feared going to my mama but I did. My mama took me to my appt, silently sat with me before the test. I go in, test positive and am faced with having to go sit by my mama and give her the news. She said, "I need a cigarette." & Headed out to smoke.
    I met with all the staff, hearing abortion, adoption, blah blah blah, I was 14 & I said no. I made the baby and I will raise this baby! By the grace of God. (I am anti-abortion but definitely not anti-adoption btw) I was not raised to behave in any manner to ever be in a situation to be pregnant at 14 but I knew what I was doing. I knew how to sneak and I was responsible for this tiny little life growing inside of me.
    I gained only 17 lbs while pregnant. It would have been easy to deny and hide but NEVER would I have ever been so weak and so selfish as to do so! There was tiny little life inside me and I was responsible for that tiny little human and no matter the consequences, I was second place to this innocent, tiny, living heartbeat inside of me! The dad and the dad family were a no-go from the word pregnant but I didn't care! I loved this little, precious baby from the start. I would have stood for to toe with the devil for my little unborn angel! This was a gift! Not a curse! 5 lbs, 10 lbs, 100lbs, j didn't care!
    At age 15 I gave birth to the most beautiful tiny 6lb 10oz baby girl I have ever laid eyes upon!!!!! My mama, she became my rock! She was my rock!she supported me through my pregnancy and supported my precious blessing when she arrived! I am 46 now and look back with no regrets! I was a mommy at 15 and a successful and thriving adult thereafter! God bless my mama who was there with us through thick and thin and thank God for the blessing He chose to give me at that very moment in my life!
    I will never forget the love and joy I felt with hearing my baby girls heartbeat for the first time. Her first tiny little kick. Her precious face when I met her for the first time! Now my mama stood by me but my siblings and the babies daddy's family were cruel but never ever did I turn a blind eye to my responsibility, my choices, my tiny package of love. T wasn't always easy by far but I prevailed and have no regrets!
    That being said, I already know the outcome of this case and I am disgusted. This girl and her mama sickens me! This baby is a little angel and did not deserve a death at the hands of her own selfish mommy but I do find peace in the fact that she landed right back in the hands of Jesus, safe, sound, & joyful. This "girl" will reap what she showed in one way or another. I have no doubt. I hope she and her mom grow to the size of a beached whale and live an ugly life. To put vanity before a baby is beyond evil! And yes it is this girls fault. Not just her mom's. She wasn't knew exactly what she was doing and how she was going to do it! She wasn't a baby, she was creating a baby! She deserved to be punished and I honestly pray she never has future children for the simple reason she doesn't deserve them!

    WHY are they prosecuting this poor kid?!? There's ZERO evidence of murder!! And a zealous MALE prosecutor is demonizing an already traumatized kid!! Some Men Really Suck! It's a bad situation made worse for what reason? This prosecutor's on stage, that's all. Poor kid.

      Poor kid not. She was old enough to know unprotected sex can cause a pregnancy. She made the decision to conceal it. She could have had an abortion. She could have given the baby up for adoption. No she didn't she had the baby and killed her and then buried her. Poor kid not

      You should be shamed after burying your baby instead of calling 911

    Skylar isn't a md! You need a Dr to get a death certificate. Women I know that have had a still born call 911 and both mother a baby go to hospital. Guilty people put other people in shallow graves. Only thing I agree here is interaction is make cop talks way to much. Most of the time they read you your rights and want a statement in your own words.

    It's a good try by the defense but why is she trying to have a baby in secret if she wants it to live?

    The defense is good. I tend to believe him regarding the lack of burning. I dunno....I think the prosecution has an uphill battle. Obviously what she did was horrible, but the defense is going to bring in her relationship with her mom, her food disorder, her young age etc. I have a feeling she will end up with some sort of consequence, but I doubt she'll be charged with murder.

    So she doesn’t know she’s in pre labour - maybe not BUT she knew she was pregnant and in pain she should have then gone to the emergency room !! Obviously something was wrong .
