  • Chill out with this build in the Cooler Master NR200P with a 280mm AIO in push/pull! Case appears at 1:46 !
    This is identical to the NR200, since I used neither the tempered glass side panel, nor the PCI-E riser cable.
    It wasn't easy mounting a 280mm AIO with 4 fans, but it fits!
    Please comment with your questions and I will answer them.

    What this video doesn't show is how much research, planning and preparation goes into a small form factor build. There is no room for mistakes, and its a pain to have to pull everything apart if you forget to pre run the cables to where they are needed. Well done on a nice clean build.

Excluding GPU you already have like 8 fans? now that is 11 fans if we include GPU! Since my build aligns very closely with yours i have couple of questions. NR200P comes with a TG Panel, did you get to use it? i believe with this configuration you can't since AIO relies on intake from sides? I am considering returning AIO for air cooling with more fans. Fans being so tight from AIO Radiator with PSU didn't harm or cause turbulence near the PSU?

    I am still finetuning fan curves and collecting experience with it and it is very quite on desktop work, but with gaming it gets extremely loud, I am still below 70°C on CPU and GPU and hope to reduce the noise. I also think about replacing the PSU fan because the fan makes an "eeeeee" noise even on low speeds and it doesn't shut up for some minutes even after taking away the load.
    The build was very much fun, but the cable managment is very hard and looks to simple in this video... it is way harder. I got this case but I got to give it to you, you did great research and prepared greatly for this setup not only when it came to the cable management (cables behind motherboard was genius) but also being aware of your MOBO enough to know that you needed that Commander pro and Corsair RGB hub. Personally for a sleeker look & easier process I went with all black no RGB insides but it looks great ! Can i come over so you can build my next one ? lol going even more ITX soon with the Ncase M1 V6

  • @ChrisAHockey
    @ChrisAHockey 2 года назад +4

    So this is some incredibly cheeky cable management. I learned a lot from this video after debating on the NR200P. You've convinced me to rethink the build because my CPU block is quite a bit bigger than the Kraken's (I'm using the EK-280mm radiator).
    But I have one question: Why did you opt for that AIO when you can't even see it anyway?

  • @amafi_poe
    @amafi_poe 3 года назад +4

    Very handy video, thank you.
    Been buying stuff and planning my first mini itx build for a little while now, ended up getting the nr200p. Was unsure about what to do for fans and I ended up getting the same corsair unit you used here. Since I'm not planning on doing push/pull for the x63 rad I think I'm going to try mounting it on the psu shroud, but it's good to know there's room to stick it down the front as well.
    Now it's just a matter of waiting for the parts to get here. ugh

    • @amafi_poe

      @@marieantoine didn't try, it's mounted on the side panel. temps are fine, and the case was a breeze to build in, honestly. In the end I stuffed the fan controller down the front like in the video, didn't have room on the psu cage thing.
      My only real issue with my build were the psu cables for my 700w silverstone unit. Very stiff and hard to route around stuff, if I had known it'd take 6 months to get my cpu I would've waited for the corsair sf750 to come back in stock. oh yeah, and I ended up with a Corsair Hydro H115i RGB Platinum 280mm rad aio instead of the x63, my original order got cancelled for whatever reason. Swapped the fans for 140mm noctuas, very cool and incredibly silent.
