They’re accustomed to patients who blame THEM when the patient doesn’t like the honest answers the doctor gives them, or when the patient refuses to follow the doctor’s advice, then demands to know why the problem isn’t getting better. Too many people just don’t get that doctors are not miracle workers, patients have to help in making themselves better. A doctor can only identify a problem and give a patient advice on the best course of action to treat the problem. The patient will either listen and cooperate or they won’t. OB/GYNS are likely up there with psychiatrists, and bariatric specialists when it comes to which doctors see the most patients who just don’t want to listen to reason. These doctors don’t bother banging their heads against the wall or beating a dead horse, because part of their training is learning how to accept futility, and knowing a lost cause when they see one. You can’t help people who won’t help themselves, so you do what you can, then let go and move on to someone whom you CAN help. This doctor is clearly excellent and experienced in her field. It’s going to take far more than two clearly troubled women who obviously don’t want to accept reality, coming on TV and suggesting she doesn’t know what she’s talking about, when she’s telling them something that an individual who is not even a physician, would know to be true, in order to make her feel put down, unappreciated, or incompetent. My daughter was a week late, and when I delivered the placenta, my midwife said, “Oh yeah, that placenta is DONE.” There is absolutely NO way a human could carry one child, let alone six, for more than a year, without serious health consequences. The placenta(s) would be unable to support a developing child any longer, not to mention that if she had SIX babies inside her, they would be passing the toddler stage at this point. Multiples are usually born prematurely. My daughter was almost eight pounds at birth, imagine six 30-40 pound children. But yeah, DEFINITELY babies, not cancer, probably should ignore that cancer diagnosis and hope for babies. That’s the rational thing to do.

The saddest thing with this case is that, for many, many women, it is the norm to be disbelieved or have their symptoms pushed away and dismissed by doctors, to the point that reliance on their own intuition over a doctor's advice becomes a survival technique -- even when the problem isn't ob/gyn related, just pain-related. Hundreds of women get turned away by doctors because they came in with heart attacks that didn't present "typically" -- I.e. the way male heart attacks do. I had a cyst in one of my wrist bones that I had to bother doctors about for nearly five years before they performed the surgery that cured it, because I was told it was "tennis elbow" or "not that big enough of a problem". By the time they found it and believed the pain I was reporting was real (by way of this scan that detects inflammation and causes it to light up on their monitor -- it lit up like a goddamned Christmas tree), the surgeon had to tell me that removing the cyst could leave a carpal bone so hollowed out, it would disintegrate without a graft. Thankfully, the scar tissue from removing it has been enough. That's what's so terrible -- being met with disbelief, even derision, is so much the norm that when we come to cases like this, where the situation is a woman believing it's one thing and refusing to believe it's a deadly illness like cancer, it's like trying to deprogramme a cult victim. It's a deadly mix when a woman who's used to being failed by medicine enough to distrust it is then also failing herself.
A Doppler can pick up any blood flow in it’s path and that explains the heartbeat they hear. They are hearing heir own heartbeat! I wish the show had looked into why the hand held Doppler is able to pick up a signal.
Anyone thought of telling them: yeah ok, you're pregnant.. what do you want to do about it? Abortion? Wait to give birth? Let's do that.. cause at some point, the craziness has to stop. If we stop contradicting them, provoking them, they'll stop becoming crazier and crazier by the minute..

When she puts her Doppler probe below the umbilicus, she is picking up the sound of the heart pumping blood through her aorta, which of course sounds like a heart beat. The main difference is that fetal heart rate is 120-160 beats per minute which is faster than adult heart rate.

Shes due in couple months and the doctors did for a fact find her on the ultrasound so shes in there. I've never heard of a woman being pregnant that long and I'm sorry but I believe she has medical issues that she in fact knows about and just trying to use pregnancy as an excuse. If there was multiple uteruses which I never heard of, I believe the OB would of seen that and checked it out as well. I've met some stubborn people in my life, like immensely unbelievable level of stubbornness... but this women takes the cake, she takes the trophy, she takes the medal, and she takes the awards.

The saddest thing with this case is that, for many, many women, it is the norm to be disbelieved or have their symptoms pushed away and dismissed by doctors, to the point that reliance on their own intuition over a doctor's advice becomes a survival technique -- even when the problem isn't ob/gyn related, just pain-related. Hundreds of women get turned away by doctors because they came in with heart attacks that didn't present "typically" -- I.e. the way male heart attacks do. I had a cyst in one of my wrist bones that I had to bother doctors about for nearly five years before they performed the surgery that cured it, because I was told it was "tennis elbow" or "not that big enough of a problem". By the time they found it and believed the pain I was reporting was real (by way of this scan that detects inflammation and causes it to light up on their monitor -- it lit up like a goddamned Christmas tree), the surgeon had to tell me that removing the cyst could leave a carpal bone so hollowed out, it would disintegrate without a graft. Thankfully, the scar tissue from removing it has been enough. That's what's so terrible -- being met with disbelief, even derision, is so much the norm that when we come to cases like this, where the situation is a woman believing it's one thing and refusing to believe it's a deadly illness like cancer, it's like trying to deprogramme a cult victim. It's a deadly mix when a woman who's used to being failed by medicine enough to distrust it is then also failing herself.

A Doppler can pick up any blood flow in it’s path and that explains the heartbeat they hear. They are hearing heir own heartbeat! I wish the show had looked into why the hand held Doppler is able to pick up a signal.

Because they are sick, not only mentally but also physical. My aunts dog died of cancer because she got 'fake pregnant' all the time. So just agreeing and hoping it would stop is not good enough
Just have them have a C section, the doctors will find no baby and these women will be proven wrong

This is insane 🙈 Funny thing is when my mum got pregnant with me no doctors believed her until she went to the hospital they ran tests that came back positive so they did an ultrasound and she was almost 6 months pregnant 🤰🙈🙈 I hope these ladies got the help they needed to get healthy again

She looks like she is in her 50s. Maybe she's delusional about her age also.
Her Doppler probe is picking up the blood flow in her aorta-the largest artery in our body which comes off the heart ♥️ and runs down the center of the abdomen, having many arteries branching off that deliver oxygenated blood to the entire body. When she puts her Doppler probe below the umbilicus, she is picking up the sound of the heart pumping blood through her aorta, which of course sounds like a heart beat. The main difference is that fetal heart rate is 120-160 beats per minute which is faster than adult heart rate.
What's really their condition?

Did they ever stop and consider that it could be a possibility that the heart beat they are hearing is their own?
These are the type of women that will lure a poor pregnant woman, kill her, cut out the baby and claim it as their own. All so they can say they were right. That older lady saying she’s pregnant needs to be locked away..just the way she said right at the end, “there will be babies”..it gave me the chills.

I'm pregnant and I actually have the pictures from my ultrasound with my information on it so people can't try to say I'm trying to lie about it when I have the proof and the belly. Shes due in couple months and the doctors did for a fact find her on the ultrasound so shes in there. I've never heard of a woman being pregnant that long and I'm sorry but I believe she has medical issues that she in fact knows about and just trying to use pregnancy as an excuse. If there was multiple uteruses which I never heard of, I believe the OB would of seen that and checked it out as well. She needs to get a grip on reality because she can deny it all she wants but reality is the truth and fact right there and it's not going anywhere.
