This guy puts more love and dedication into his toys than I put into my life.....
Yep, same here
toys?
@@Randy_bosss oh, I'm sorry, "a highly sophisticated orchestra of innumerable tiny parts working in tandem to get work done".........
He makes it look so easy too. Lol
Semen retention
I bet this guy has the world record for the most exhaust flanges ever made.
I could literally watch these all day. No talking, just craftsmanship. Perfect! 👍
Congratulations my friend, I am amazed by the amount of tools to make your works, among them this saw, the point marker to start a hole, thread making tool, etc ...
But it is no use having all these tools without a creative imagination, I like your videos, I always see something new that I should study.
Leandro.
Non mmm
Hey Johnny, I am a retired tool and die maker/model maker of 42 years. I created many working models on manual machines. You have taken my trade to the next two levels. When you had a problem, you figured it out, CNC machined a part and put it in place. Damn Good Job!!
The fact that you do all the fab at home is amazing! I don't mind the roof being the testing grounds for now!
That exhaust looks INCREDIBLE! I like how tight to the engine it is and the side exit.
I was hurting pretty bad after finding out about rc sparks chucking in the towel today. This lifted me big time . I’m a nearly 50 RC nut and have been for years. Buggies trucks cars on and off road. Your attention to detail is spot on. Great build my friend thank you for sharing with us. Big shout from the uk.👍👍👏👏🏁🏁
Love the detail and work you put in mate, your work space and tools are always immaculately clean. keep up the excellent content 👍👍
yes buddy, this is sick!
This car is sicker then any virus in the whole world
I can't wait for him to get the clutch and the gearing sorted out and let us see what these little twins can do when they're set up properly! Makin' me want to do a build like this too. Was planning on putting one in a crawler, too, but now iono...
Take note🥲
I would love to see your lab...you are a genius...
I remember finding ur channel because of Adam lz
Nice job, it looks to be coming together well, I can't wait to see it tuned and ready to fly!
Praise our monthly dose of mechanical asmr !
Ps : Holly shit this thing felt fast on the first throttle input, but i maybe the clutch burnt really quickly, because at the end it looked slower, but maybe this is just me
It's a little of column A and a little of column B. The composite clutch Johnny used would go up in smoke in a flash on an engine this torquey no matter what, but he also did not gear up. This car was meant for an engine revving to 35-40 thousand RPM. This 4-cycle will be lucky to hit 15K under load. Pretty sure Toyan specs out their valve springs to act as governors; valve float right around where they say it revs to since that tends to be where every single one of their SOHC 4-strokes stops pulling even when there's no load on it.
He needs to add a metal clutch to the car, tune that clutch to engage around 4500RPM, and then add somehwere around 8-12 teeth to both bell gears. He makes those three changes and this car will probably be faster both off the line and top end than it was with its original two stroke.
@@TestECull didn't expect you here...
Awesome build dude . these engines are so cool
This build is insane!
Since the tgx used to be a racing chassis back to its time, it would be so interesting to see it running on a real rc track.
Great job!
This looks fun as hell. Imagine slapping an FPV on that and racing it on a little mini race track...
I finally realized why I was so confused while you were making the exhaust. When you put the pipes in the flange, I was expecting you to say “press fit” like we do in the US, and thought you were actually using a different process!
Amazing work btw!
My dog would go crazy for this. He loves chasing RC cars.
👍🏻 It's amazing what you do. Talk about hand made, your machine work is epic. Love watching and seeing the progress.
Dude thank you! Having that little bit of background noise is a game changer in the beginning.
Genius!!as much as I love the cars, I can sit and watch u build and create parts all day. Fascinating.
Absolutely fascinating. It’s a joy to watch a craftsman at work 👍
at first, I was a sceptic about the exhaust but it turned out to work and sound very well
Yea happy to see its a proper muffler this time as opossed to the expansion chamber type he had used a few times before. Since this has valve an expansion chamber doesn't really do anything. What you really want are baffles or maybe a glass pack or something.
I went from watching dudes building pools to a guy building RC cars.. what a great time to be alive
Definitely subscribe to this one tho! How builds are great :)
Yea much better to do than to watch I promise
@@julyoon i did that
@@mistysowards7365 ok
Definitely living your best life
Even though its tiny I can still hear the growl of a parallel twin.
I was listening for the same thing! I’m surprised it’s got an uneven firing order!
@@drewmanzara5731 is it the 270 degree crank? Or the standard 180 degree?
You can never go wrong with the upload from this channel
Impressive results as always😎
I always learn some new shop tricks. Thank you!
This is hands down one of the best videos I've seen on RUclips. 👍
As always, completely awesome engineering! I'd start a business building these for others if I was you!
Dear, just seeing your whim in making these pieces with great care gives us pleasure. I am an engineer and I am delighted with your work. You are very good at what you do. How wonderful! It's addictive to see you do this. I want a toy like this to spend my days. Congratulations from your Brazilian fan!
I love your RC builds, it's always top notch or next level type stuff.
Excellent video, TWIN Cylinder 4 Stroke R/C Car Build & First Test!, my respect from Venezuela💯👍🤘
The muffler sound is pretty sick, I love it !
My God. I wish I was half as talented as you are. Amazing work. Keep it up!
That securing the two parts together part, where you called it riveting sort of, that process is called roll staking. Even though your staking tool didn't have rollers I believe this is still called roll staking 👍 sick work dude
You are a brilliant and inspiring engineer. Your work makes me stare in wonder. I’m flummoxed why anyone would give this vid a thumbs-down. What would meet their standard!?
Ferramental adequado é a base de um trabalho bem feito. Parabéns !!
One amazing build after another with Johnny! Entertainment for days!
Good work! A clear example of how things should be done.
Johnny your level of skill is superior next to none keep putting out Great videos brother 😊 👍
As always, excellent craftmanship, dedication and love of what you do. Makes men happy. Keep up with righteousness.
Incredible work my friend....and and a great job packaging everything together....time in planning alone must be massive
Φιλε είσαι απίστευτος!Βγάζεις πολυ μεράκι για αυτό που κάνεις.Μπράβο σου.
Glad your having fun in lock down. I could only dream of project's like yours.
Abdolutely amazing mods brother. Your vids alone have moved me back into tinkering, making, printing and machining. Thanks for the inspiration and you have a #foreverfan right here.
absolutely love the tapping stand thing
Damn! You are one helluva engineer/machinist. I wish I had half your knowledge. Great video! Thanks for sharing.
Really impressed with this guys machining skill, nice job
Nice clean build as always. Even with a slipping clutch it still seems like it would be fun to drive. Cheers
That is awesome I really like what you did with the exhaust keep up the good work👍
I never knew that a Toyan engine can power a RC car! I was dreaming about that for months!
Your skills are pure talent man. I want that automated Dremel you have. But awesome quality
wow the sound is amazing
Wow man you are a genius, you make it all look so easy!!
Such a cool use for the engine
Nice build as Always
That is badass. Now I want to start RC again.
Genius building as always, the term for what you did to the exhaust was flaring.
Coming along nicely!
That electric drill driver is sweet. Great video man
wow sounds great with that exhaust
This is some top notch work. 👍🏻👍🏻
Just watched your video, it is amazing! Keep up the good work
Nice build brother! your a true master!
Beautiful work and craftsmanship 👍👍👍
Amazing craftsmanship and engineering!
Damn it Johnny. Your work is phenomenal. ALWAYS.
Johnny is awesome in all way's!!! Cool conversion and very cool machining!!!
Not sure why but these videos are so therapeutic.
This makes me happy af, so nice
This is really cool. Unequal length headers would sound magnificent
your dog is like mine! gets excited and starts barking when she hears one of my RC's go!
Not so brave at 14:12 though, lol
Same here. Both love to chase my car. I have to keep it in top working order just to stay ahead of them.
Fabulous work !
You’re a talented man bro, I’m sure you’ll figure out the slipping
Formidable travail avec un matériel et des machines très modernes.
Benny Rooman à Bruxelles.
the thing sounds cool!!
Sweet ride bro
Great build series! Been following along the whole ride. Probably a good thing you're not getting full power on a rooftop 😆
Great job with the speedster 👍👍👍
Dude I always forget that I am subscribed so every time you upload is a nice surprise, I'm currently passing through a very tough time and almost gave up on engineering but your videos kept me going.
Incredible your work
Big like from France. Your videos are " Great"!! Thank you. A french follower...
I love your precision! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
This is awesome. Can’t wait to see it finished and see it do jumps! I’m curious to see what body you put on their.
That was fantastic. Nice machining skills.
This is crazy, nice work man
you have tools, knowledge and resources I only dream of.
You should make a website selling tuning parts for these engines haha. Tuning STONKS
That`s really cool, can`t wait for part 2! :D
(obviously gonna wait for part 2)
Ωραίος φιλε, πολλά μπράβο!!
Very nice build!
JohnnyQ in 2025: either head engineer at Mercedes f1 team or making real miniature nuclear reactor powered rc subs
Another great JohnnyQ90 build. Very nicely done.
Very cool usage of the Tamiya TGX. I have 9 of these cars and wanted to do an OS 26, 4 stroke conversion, until I saw this extraordinary conversion.
It sounds so good 🤯😱
Dude awesome how this turned out
Way to go, man!
awesome working on a l200 project myself so I understand how much work it takes
Thats awesome! well done
Your the man! You do some amazing stuff! Next i would like to see comparison between intakes and exhaust setup's pipe diameter and carb location to see what makes the most power
Very Impressive Work! Its Awesome!
