One day I hope that I may be able to get you to paint one of my warhammer figures, it would absolutely be an honor! I’m new to the hobby and love it already but lack the tools to properly paint my figures at the current moment. Having a mini painted by you would be amazing, not only to use as a playable piece but a conversation piece, your work is amazing and I appreciate the time you put into making these videos because I enjoy them very much and find them very helpful! @maverickspaint

@@MaverickNicolson Yeah I find when I am going from black to yellow, white, red, pink etc that I look for something that will aid in the shading process. Take out a layer to get to the highlight by adding one back in the shading process. A shortcut. For example, I want yellow so I start with browns, I want pink so I start with creams. I want white I start with a cream/grey. this also then becomes my glaze later on when I highlight to bring the shades back and smooth out the transition. This waffling aside I really like what you do here. Cant wait to see more.

I’ve been struggling with a way to paint my Templars and looked at a bunch of videos on how to paint black armor and such and I even tried my own way haha. But I absolutely love the way you paint the black armor and highlight it. The way you paint is so interesting and satisfying to look at. Been on your channel for a while now and I’m loving the growth you’re experiencing! The way you paint is let’s. Big inspo for me.

aw man thanks so much. I just kind of hate committing to large strokes of color so I just dab and scratch my way around the model and slowly build it up. Its because im hesitant lol

Great video ! Thanks for the inspiration. Sorry that you got covid here in the Uk, but I hope it was worth it. I totally relate to the weird aches and pains, and the sore jaw.

You're becoming one of my fav mini painting channels duder. Great job on that Templar. Also glad to see you kicked covids butt. I lost my sense of smell for 3 weeks after i got it, had weird random aches and pains for weeks aftertoo, this was back in 2021.

Lovely work and I am enjoying this longer format, even more so than the IG reels where it started.

I’m a bit new to warhammer (been in here for about a year or 2), and watching you paint is an incredible inspiration.

Loving your content man! It's really tempting me to get into Warhammer. Keep up the good work, your content is well made and can only improve from here!

The only thing I could say would improve this content is to place the list of paints used in the description and where they were used if that's not too much extra work on your end (for people looking for a quick reference after watching the video).
