I am extremely grateful that you are so committed to our children's literacy that you found it within your heart to give us a lifeline to help our children ourselves. So many families have limited financial, educational, and community resources and here you go creating a plan so that we can be capable even when our circumstances are less than ideal. May the blessing you have bestowed on the world return to you a millionfold. ❤😁
I'm in this struggle. I homeschool. I am a Montessori teacher and with my ASD kid with a PDA profile. He refuses to read. I've tried all the things you've mentioned. He just doesn't want to do it. I appreciate this video.
I'm so glad I came across your channel. My IEP ADD child is 12 in 7th grade but can't read or write. Oddly she can play Roblox which has lots of reading between characters and she plays with no problem. She can put a YT video and edit no problem...but can't read or write. I asked her how are you able to play when you can't read and she said she looks at their gestures and she figures it out. I'm beside myself. Ever since Covid she went backwards. I'm so happy I came across your video and hope this works🙏
I have an adhd child who is going into 7th grade in public school and has an IEP but is currently at a 1.8 grade level,I feel the schools have gailed him as I. Therefore, I am going to try to homeschool. Do you know of any virtual tutering or programs that would help him.
I have a granddaughter who is struggling with her reading. She is on a 1.0 level and has two weeks before school is out. Because of this, she is threatening retention in 2nd. So, how can I bring her level up to at least 1.5 her to qualify going to 3rd grade?
I'm sorry to hear your granddaughter is struggling! Progress in reading does take time, and 2 weeks isn't super long. But a good place to start might be with this blog post (there is a free download, too): learningattheprimarypond.com/blog/3-tips-for-parents-when-your-child-is-behind-in-reading/

I can you read all these words but it's hard for me to spell them some more like spelling senior simple and sometimes it's hard for me to spell help😔
Our reading program is through age 10, but you should look into IXL Learning. They offer programming through twelfth grade. I hope this helps. :)
