This was the best mature interview from Stefanos. I feel he is growing mentally into a future champion. In this final he was extremely close to break Novak mentally in the second set and even break him for the rest of the match. And I think he knows that very well and maybe that's why he stayed so positive even after the loss - he learned something new and maybe he knows finally what does it take to become a champion. I wish him best luck in the upcoming tournaments.
Great player, and a great person. Stefanos has great ethics and shows the quality of his character every time. Bravo Stefane you have made Greece and the Greeks proud!!!
Huge respect to Stefanos for this tournament and final! He did and a great job and progress past few years. I believe that his first Grand Slam trophy and world No. 1 is in the air cause he's a great player. The first AO final is done, title is the next stop. We'll see what's going on next year in Melbourne!
Someday he makes that final climb to the peak and raises a grand slam trophy. I admire his spirit and look forward to his achievements. To be continued...

Stefanos will certainly win multiple grand slams. He shows a mature attitude here, and his skills will grow. A great player. The only reason he lost is because he faced the GOAT, and for 2 sets he kept up with him. That itself is a great accomplishment - in addition to reaching the final.
Stefanos is an intelligent, thoughtful young man, and I love his playing style. I hope in the future he isn't distracted on court by his father. Stef seems to be much better at controlling his frustration lately.
Amazing depth to his answers...he seems to have grown so much in the last 2 years, and hopefully that will continue in the future, and he gets to lift a GS trophy.
Never thought I would ever warm up to Tsitsipas. Very good and mature responses. Cannot imagine what Kyrgios would have said in a interview as loser today.
Kyrgios would have said something like: I could win them all bro....no one has more ability than me, but I don't want to bother trying.... all the others just want to be liked, lol Tsitipas handled the interview splendidly..
The positive aspect amongst the defeat is the fact he went up from No.4 to No.3 in the entire world and reached the final at only 24. He made a historical moment for himself to reach these levels, rather than remaining at No.4 and stopping at the quarter-final or semi-final or even the other rounds. The dream about the trophy is I feel the universe telling him it's possible and attainable. He shouldn't give up on his ambitious goals either, his mindset is on track. I don't care what anyone says, if he wasn't exceptional, he wouldn't even be sitting there and being interviewed at a conference about the final. Stefanos has a lot of potential to reach his personal goals, but he should pat himself on the back too for his amazing achievements and not be so hard on himself either. He should be proud of himself. Isn't No.3 worldwide already a champion? 🇬🇷 All the best for future grand slams Stefanos to win your trophies, even if your ranking is already like a trophy.
This was a wonderful press conference! Stefanos showed no bitterness or regrets, just a satisfied realisation that he played his best game and has learnt some valuable lessons from Novak that will help him progress even further in his career, hopefully to a Grand Slam title. Stefanos shows a maturity and class during this interview that shows he's a winner on and off court. I was lucky enough to see five of his games at the AO, and was so proud to see him make the final. A win would have been a dream come true, but like Stefanos I've accepted that he played his best game, and this match was a valuable learning curve for him to progress further in his career. Well done Stefanos, you played a truly magnificent tournament and we are all so proud of you!! 🎾💪✨🇦🇺🎾🇬🇷✨❤️
No problems there - Novak and Rafa had the same situation with Federer when they were getting going - and you want to win, so you figure out what you need to do - then you break through - keep knocking on the door
You’re a fantastic player, Stef, and I so admire your mature and positive mindset. I believe you will win your Slam someday, and I’m looking forward to watching you progress towards your goals!
Tough loss, but Stefanos will win a slam soon, maybe RG. Remember Djokovic has lost 11 slam finals to his 22 so reaching the final of AO is an accomplishment. Well done!
I am Novak's fan, but I want to say, Respect for you, Stefanos Tsitsipas, for this respectful and sincere speech, i can see that it is from the heart... And you will win, you still have many years ahead of you, as Novak said. You are becoming a real gentleman, you bought my heart with this speech🙌❤️ And more and more tennis players will start to pay tribute to the greatest of all time! Because they finally began to see and admit to themselves that there are no others... Novak Djokovic is the one and only greatest!🙌✨

Respect Stefanos vous êtes un battant et vous êtes une belle personnalité entière. Je vous souhaite de briller à Roland Garros cette année la terre battue est une de vos surfaces préférées. 💙🤍🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷😘
It seemed to me that Djokovic expected your ball to always go cross-court. When you did go down the line, you gained the edge in the rallies. I would love to see more down-the-line shots from both the backhand and forehand. Then, I’m sure that you would be able to finish off the points by approaching the net. You’re definitely very close to winning a grand slam.
You re right. He had the opportunities to go down the line and he had done it a lot and very successfully in his previous games but yesterday he didn't dare and I think because he was playing Novak. He just didn't have the confidence
Of course many congrats about reaching a final in a slam, very proud of him as his fan (his style is comparable to Roger's,), he's an exciting aggressive player, we ve seen a huge improvement and a total different athlete from the Mudabala exhibition match but yesterday he didn't deliver what he really could do. I feel he's still intimidated when he plays with the top players . He needs somehow to see them as common players who are not unbeatable and have the confidence he has with the rest of the players. The unforced errors, the not bold movements caused him yesterday the valuable and long expected and desired trophy and no 1 place. It's time to change this and then he will be able to beat and Novak and the youngest talents coming up . All the best Stef! Looking forward for your next matches. ♥️🇬🇷
I did prefer Djokovic to win, but I really like Stefanos Tsitsipas game and hope he wins grand slams in the future. This is a tough situation and losing this slam will unfortunately lead many to underrate his incredible talent.
What an amazing match. Either of you could of taken the match out. This time it was for Novak but you have many more challenges ahead which I would be proud to watch you play
Be happy stefanos u did well, Novak took a long time b4 he could get passed the semi finals to beat FeD and Nadal so dont worry this is normal. keep going and keep playing, you will win a slam!
Stefanos is really a first class athlete ! Very talented ; once he gets a little more mentally focused ; many Grand Slam Titles will be earned by this gentleman ! Federer - Nadal - Novak 20 + Titles a piece ; Wow ! Bravo 👏🏆👍
I only saw bits of this match and it seemed to me that Djokovic wasn't hitting the ball as sharply as he normally does, but I suppose he was feeling a bit tired and his age catching up with him. I actually thought that if Tsitsipas had won the tie-break in the second set he would have probably won the match. But, credit to Djokovic -- he knows how to grind out wins and is as strong as titanium mentally. Tsitsipas will win a slam in the near future, imo.
Novak is human. Today he was going for: 1. Equalling slam record 2. World #1 3. Being second play to win the same slam 10 or more times 4. Winning the most prestigious sporting event in the country that deported him one year ago. Of course he’s going to be tight given what he was trying to achieve. It has nothing to do with age. In the important moments he elevated his game and triumphed.
What an amazing player and a great man! Well done! Свака част! 🇷🇸🇬🇷

Great fight stefanos.....u gonna win grand slams for sure...
This guy is awesome
Great attitude!! Love this guy!
Bravo Stefano, we are proud of you!
And we Serbs are proud of him ❤️
Katerina, I'm proud of you.

Thank you and proud of Novak also, I’m Greek but always loved watching Novak playing, so inspirational 👍👍👍👍
Stefanos was playing good level, he lost by one brake of serve in first and two tie breaks in second and third
No problems there - Novak and Rafa had the same situation with Federer when they were getting going - and you want to win, so you figure out what you need to do - then you break through - keep knocking on the door
you have to wait Stefanos and at the right time a grand slam will definitely come.Congratulations you are a finalist for the second time.
You’re a fantastic player, Stef, and I so admire your mature and positive mindset. I believe you will win your Slam someday, and I’m looking forward to watching you progress towards your goals!
Dudes 24. He's coming up at the right time now. He's going to win many grand Slams. Should be fun.
Exactly.
Tough loss, but Stefanos will win a slam soon, maybe RG. Remember Djokovic has lost 11 slam finals to his 22 so reaching the final of AO is an accomplishment. Well done!
I go on and off about liking Tsitsipas, but it’s definitely been more positive recently. I hope the best for this guy
Congratulations!!! Well done. 🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷
Μας κάνεις περήφανους Στέφανε! Συνέχισε έτσι...πιστεύουμε σε εσένα!

Proud of you and your achievements thus far, Stefanos ! Keep going 💪🏼
I can see him being a Goat in the next generation.
Good job. You played well. I could tell you are a fighter. Well deserve for the final
i think he played really bad. years since i've seen him like this
By far the best press conference Tsitsi has ever given.

He's maturing. Taking a tough gs final loss well.
Great game to watch, your time will come. Thankyou for a good match.
You made us all proud levendi!
Definitely a Levendi😍😍😍
西西真的很棒!❤西西真正的冠军!💖👍💪
You will get that number one spot with the winning trophy.
Well done young man 👌
I did prefer Djokovic to win, but I really like Stefanos Tsitsipas game and hope he wins grand slams in the future. This is a tough situation and losing this slam will unfortunately lead many to underrate his incredible talent.
He’s gonna be a great champion one day. He has all the right stuff to be a consistent contender for all titles he pursues.
Shame he looks broken, but he did so great! He should be very proud of what he did!
What an amazing match. Either of you could of taken the match out. This time it was for Novak but you have many more challenges ahead which I would be proud to watch you play
Novak had him all day.
Be happy stefanos u did well, Novak took a long time b4 he could get passed the semi finals to beat FeD and Nadal so dont worry this is normal. keep going and keep playing, you will win a slam!
Stefanos is really a first class athlete !
Very talented ; once he gets a little more mentally focused ; many
Grand Slam Titles will be earned by this gentleman !
Federer - Nadal - Novak
20 + Titles a piece ; Wow !
Bravo 👏🏆👍
Backhand gradually becoming formidable
I only saw bits of this match and it seemed to me that Djokovic wasn't hitting the ball as sharply as he normally does, but I suppose he was feeling a bit tired and his age catching up with him. I actually thought that if Tsitsipas had won the tie-break in the second set he would have probably won the match. But, credit to Djokovic -- he knows how to grind out wins and is as strong as titanium mentally. Tsitsipas will win a slam in the near future, imo.
Grind out 3.0?
Novak is human. Today he was going for:
1. Equalling slam record
2. World #1
3. Being second play to win the same slam 10 or more times
4. Winning the most prestigious sporting event in the country that deported him one year ago.
Of course he’s going to be tight given what he was trying to achieve. It has nothing to do with age. In the important moments he elevated his game and triumphed.
