He didn't really come from anywhere. Unfortunately, real stand up comedians, that are even remotely funny, are prevented from appearing on mainstream television these days.
Just seen this guy for the first time on STV and agreed with all he was saying about how the modern day Left has "jumped the shark"! And it's true, much as I hate to admit it, being a life long Leftie.
yeah, the old left doen't really exist anymore. It used to be about supporting working class people, now it's about virtue signalling and enjoying the aroma of your own farts.

I'm centre right - it's lovely to read this. Written by a genuine centre left leaning person. I don't call the woke 'lefties', they're radicals. The centre left and right have always been able to have a debate, it's the radicals that cause the problems. Great to hear some intelligence 👍

When I was a young lad, decent Scottish comedians were ten-a-penny. But I thought they'd been hunted to extinction in the wild, their population educed to a shuffling and confused Billy Connelly and a single, toothless Frankie Boyle kept in captivity at the BBC. But then this magnificent specimen (of breeding age!) is spotted in the inhospitable wastelands of London and there is hope. Leo, find yourself a funny wee lassie and start re-populating the species! And come to Amsterdam! Toomler is a coolest comedy venue in the world (says Doungfucking Stanhope). You'd kill it.

You think "Leo" was bad... I had to go to school in Scotland named Terence!! Arghh! "Terry" wasn't so bad, but having to answer to "Terence" every role call was a fucking nightmare that scarred me for life! Where the fuck my parents got the idea to call their first born "Terence" is anyone's guess. I was told in later life that my ma liked Terence Stamp, the actor, but I think she was just trying to soften the blow!
He obviously changed the direction of his comedy after this show...the right wing stuff was a smart move in a society that's being eaten alive by far left social justice.
