I've never been more wrong I collapsed on the set of shoulder width arm push-ups. I may have failed my first time but now I have a goal. Complete the whole workout without collapsing once.

I'm 50. I've been walking a few times a week...used to be pretty athletic, but BOY am I out of shape! I've always hated push-ups. I can only do 5-7, take a break, and do another 5-7. Hopefully I can stick with this video for awhile and get through the whole thing some day!

UPDATE: Its been 10 days since I've done this and mannn its been tough. But its been worth it. Its only been 20 days and I'm already seeing results. My abs are showing and my chest had increased in size

I’ve been doing this for four months and my routine is. Monday/Tuesday take a break on Wednesday (or do other dedicated workouts such as abs or just chest) Thursday and have a rest day no questions asked Friday. Back at it again Saturday and rest Sunday. As time goes on you will find you need to do other workouts on the rest days and maybe go for a run on the Saturday to keep yourself happy and to continue enjoying excercise in general. I must admit I’ve had tremendous gains and have lost at least 6-8kg. All in all keep dedicated to these sort of exercises as they certainly do work.
you should work out 3 times a week. if youre doing a chest and abs workout, From personal experience, its better to do chest exercises and then abs exercises. Alternating between the chest and abs exercises doesnt pump as much blood into the muscles (A good thing) as focusing on each area at a time.

nah, once you get sore you do more workouts that's how your muscles grow, but if you do it every single day with out any break your muscles wont get sore. But if you make a 7 day break and do it again then you are definetlly gonna get sore.
This video was posted a long time ago but if new viewers come regular push-ups are rash if your used to them start doing the ones that are chest width those are harder but they pay off in the end
I just turned 16 5 days ago and I am wondering if it is safe for me to do this everyday besides on Saturday and Sunday. I have a slender body type I just want to build muscle for the summer fast! Lol
You should do it every other day because your muscles need time to recover. When you exercise your muscles you are tearing the fibers. The day in between allows them to heal, making them stronger in the process. (That might not be 100% scientifically accurate but it's what i was taught and is a good way to think about it.)
Aaron M You can do that, just make sure you have around 2-3 days of body rest ( no exercise in these days ) Because you are still growing your muscles will need more rest days than a normal adult which has stopped growing.
