Does the back of the cylinder a separate piece if it is you could possibly remove it and just 3 print a cylinder or as you said glue the cylinders together
I am getting one of these, painting it mainly white with an orange tip and red grips, doing all the necessary cosmetic mods to make it look like a Dan Wesson PPC. 357, painting a playing card spade on the barrel shroud, and calling it the "Discard".
Alright, since a lot of people might not get the actual purpose of this thing and why it has some specific features like the quick pressure system. It was designed as a home defence weapons for countrys like germany or other EU countrys that do not allow the ordinary citizen to have a real gun at home without a special license. In Germany for example there is an muzzle energy limit of 7.5 joules which is roughly 5.5 lb-ft. You usually have the "gun" ready in a drawer with a cartridge in it (but not pierced) and when the worst case happens and you have to use it you can quickly pierce it and do whats necessary in regards to the situation you are in. It looks like a real gun to intimidate your opponent. They specially designed pepper ball ammo and other types of ammo like rubber balls for it. This is not a paintball gun for playing on a field. Good video btw!
I bought a .50 mold to make my own projectiles. 9mm steel ball bearings and then use a top off of glue from a hot glue gun to make a sabot. I have been experimenting with different scattershot rounds with 7 .177 BBs in a wad and glue sabot. The rubber riot balls just bounce around everywhere. I have a laser sight and this gun is quite accurate at 15-20 feet. I wouldn’t want to be hit with this revolver.
In europe it is called the hdr .50 (home defense revolver). you mainly use it to shoot rubber balls or pepper balls with it. there are also some modded ammunition made with steel parts in rubber balls. there is also a pepper spray thing you can put on the bottom rail. it´s not really meant to be a paintball gun for paintball games. because of strict gun laws this is more or less one of the „strongest“ guns you can buy without a permit.
Dude, it's only a "paintball maker" to market in localities which discourage "self-defense". It's highly modifiable in terms of power, up or down though. Frankly, I think it's more fun as a tuner for blasting the crap out of targets in backyard range.
Non lethal self defence option. Shoots rubber riot balls, slugs, and pepper balls. Also has the quick charge co2 - great for when you want to defend yourself with less than lethal force.
You can put those little thumb tacks with the long plastic on them in the nerf darts little glue and you have a home defence weapon yes I have tried it and it works.
Hey walcom, airsoft revolvers use shells so maybe with some drilling in the barrel it could shoot stefans with the cylinder and since its airsoft it should be lower velocities too, the specific revolver I've been thinking about the smoke wagon but you can use other sheep ejecting airsoft revolvers
Yeah. Wow that hits hard my old tippmann and spyder don’t hit that hard. I still have all my paintball stuff since the sport died here in Oregon as well. Great video. I’m not sure it’s really worth modding like you said looks to real (you know how people in Washington and Oregon react 🙄)and hits to hard. But I’m game to watch if you decide to. 👍👍🤘🤘
Either that or it'd be a decent less lethal home defense tool. Can hold a cylinder in it, I can pop the cylinder easily, and fire off 6 shots. You know, in-between reloading my 12 gauge.
Walcom S7 yeah I’d go with the actual lead home defense situation. Since Washington would rather throw the book at ya. And dead people don’t usually sue. Well they’re family’s sometimes do.
dude HDR50 (HOME DEFENSE REVOLVER) yes it can be used as a paintball marker but in the U.K. and most of Europe where it's very difficult if not impossible for citizens to own firearms it is used with pepper balls or hard rubber balls as a nonlethal means of home defense
What would happen if you cut the darts to fit the removable cylinders? How much foam would still be attached? Your idea sounds good too, I'd love to see if it works!
truth, it wasnt meant to fire paintballs either. Umarex made this for home deference shooting 50 cal rubber balls. sense 50 cal paintball is a thing, paintball sellers started selling it for such. meantime it shoots at such high velocity most fields wont let you use it, unless modded. standard paintball velocity is 280-300sfps. out of the box and on fresh co2, it shoots 360-380fps
I think there’s A way to make a jolt magazine fed. If you have a magazine attached to the jolt but with some sort of rod applying pressure towards the barrel constantly every time the barrels empty do you just have to push the magazine into place it would blow the dirt and then pull it out
This might be a dumb question, but can you pull the tips off darts and put those in the cylinders and have it still work? That would remove the need to risk destroying it to modify it.
Look up the Crossman 3357. Does the same thing, but is vintage paintball circa 1988. I had one a while back. a real fun shooter, and a conversation piece. the cylinders were larger though
A bit off topoc BUT i was thinking of using capacitors as darts. Can u imagine being hit by a 300v dart in the leg? I made a taser glove w the same caps. It worked well.
If you cut the frame a picatinny rail riser would be helpful to realign during glue up (if you cut so there is some picatinny rail on both sides of your cut). JB weld or two part epoxy and all thread should be a solid frame stretching medium. (Put a layer of cling wrap inside the riser before clamping and you may be able to cast the epoxy into a rail shape.) I think a cylinder drilled out for brass would look neat. Perhaps with the cylinder cut in half (after drilling) to glue on each end of the brass. For the short term I'd cut the adventure force waffle head darts down to cylinder length and load them backwards so they don't explode. The paint ball guy I know said Umarex markers are not vary consistent, velocity wise. Could you chronograph it with cylinder length darts?
first thing i want to see is a dart cut down to fit in the tiny cylinders. i think if you can get away with cutting in to the fo cylinder and shorting it, you could use 2 of the cylinders with brass in the barrels so the front rotates the whole thing and the back just sits on a post like a nail or pin.
Well I do CA relatively decent used for it that I'm sure many of you have not thought of just yet but it is a very viable non-lethal self-defense weapon I mean those paintballs are supposed to be moving at 307 feet per second that is going to hurt and definitely deter someone from doing whatever the hell they're going to do and personally if I wanted a non-lethal option for home defense that would actually be a viable use cuz I'm you smack someone in the face with that two or three times or even once for that matter they're going to exit the house in a very big hurry so just as an idea ^^

Cab it’s use 68.cal paintball or 50.cal because it’s says both on amazon
I think there’s A way to make a jolt magazine fed. If you have a magazine attached to the jolt but with some sort of rod applying pressure towards the barrel constantly every time the barrels empty do you just have to push the magazine into place it would blow the dirt and then pull it out
Dude, don´t destroy that beauty please. Just bring more videos using it.
This might be a dumb question, but can you pull the tips off darts and put those in the cylinders and have it still work? That would remove the need to risk destroying it to modify it.
I hope I’m not the only one ready for the stream
That'sa spicy meateball
Walcom, guess what, today is National Train and Locomotive Day, May 11
Anyone know where to get umarex 50 cal pepper balls? I can't find them anywhere
do the thing walcom
Look up the Crossman 3357. Does the same thing, but is vintage paintball circa 1988. I had one a while back. a real fun shooter, and a conversation piece. the cylinders were larger though
A bit off topoc BUT i was thinking of using capacitors as darts. Can u imagine being hit by a 300v dart in the leg? I made a taser glove w the same caps. It worked well.
you should try a full dart in there
Oh my lord, I hope you make that work.
Man, you’re lucky u could get this there. NJ doesn’t allow any CO2 blasters at all. Even if they blast foam and not BBs
If you cut the frame a picatinny rail riser would be helpful to realign during glue up (if you cut so there is some picatinny rail on both sides of your cut). JB weld or two part epoxy and all thread should be a solid frame stretching medium.
(Put a layer of cling wrap inside the riser before clamping and you may be able to cast the epoxy into a rail shape.)
I think a cylinder drilled out for brass would look neat.
I'm not surprised that the next video will be walcom using a gun to fire nerf darts
Well, I see I’ve found my new primary
Wait I have to ram rod the darts? And they explode? Well that sucks
Wolcom cut the dart heads off the Adventureforce waffle darts Will it shoot the heads out of the stock cylinders?
first thing i want to see is a dart cut down to fit in the tiny cylinders.
i think if you can get away with cutting in to the fo cylinder and shorting it, you could use 2 of the cylinders with brass in the barrels so the front rotates the whole thing and the back just sits on a post like a nail or pin.
Can you please link the website for where you ordered the gun?
I didn't see is it f stamped
Well that's one way to shoot a dart 300+fps
I mean, we do what we can.
What 50 cal paintballs do recommend for this marker?🔫
Well I do CA relatively decent used for it that I'm sure many of you have not thought of just yet but it is a very viable non-lethal self-defense weapon I mean those paintballs are supposed to be moving at 307 feet per second that is going to hurt and definitely deter someone from doing whatever the hell they're going to do and personally if I wanted a non-lethal option for home defense that would actually be a viable use cuz I'm you smack someone in the face with that two or three times or even once for that matter they're going to exit the house in a very big hurry so just as an idea ^^
i think it will be great for airsoft
This reminds me of the Crosman Vigilante BB revolver
This is insane!! Was there any recoil
