Have to disagree with you there drac, although the top fed mag is funky, it works to make the mechanism inside the firearm fire at a higher rpm than a traditional bullpup.
You complain about the mag but the mag is the best part about the gun. I'm no gun expert (I'm English) but the p90 mag was designed to be slim and also Carry lots of ammo. And it defiantly does that, for example the secret service use it because it is well known as a gun you can hide behind a suit jacket. You do have a point that it's a weird mag system but the pros outweigh the cons. NOT SAYING I HATE THE Vid. I just subbed today. I watched your vids for a while and finally decided to sub!
"the platform can be improved upon" Drac the FN F2000 is the improved P90. they took the ergonomic marvel that is the P90, made it into a Bullpup AR but kept the spirit and feeling of the original sub
I have been considering to order this or not. Been waiting for someone to review this! P90 has been one of my favorites to use in a game since CS 1.0! Thank you!
One-it’s an F2000, two-The P90 was designed with the top loading magazine for a reason, it can hold more ammunition, and the caliber it uses,”5.7x28”makes it a compact assault rifle.
That's the strangest knife I've ever seen, Drac. If I didn't know better I'd almost call them scissors. Anyway, this seems like we're moving into a new era of Nerf modding, where it's possible to create almost anything projectile flinging in Nerf. Cool.
The p90 design is actually really good, the reason it's not a bullpup is because it ejects shells out the bottom so it's completely ambidextrous. The caliber is a 5.7 and is made for armor piercing and as far as I know is pretty good at that
Reasons that the FNP90 feeds from the top: 1. They didn't want anything jutting out of the gun. This keeps it from getting caught on things, makes it easier to store and some other things that I won't get in to here. 2. Having it feed from the top lets it have downward ejection which is great for keeping brass from hitting friendlies, allows you to easily catch it in a bag, and some other things that I won't get in to here. 3. If your running lots of gear on you front plate it can be a problem if you need to work around it every time you need to reload. Putting the mag on top eliminates this problem. There ate also some other things that I won't get in to here.
The reason for the p90 mag being in the location that it is in is so it's as compact as it possibly can be. It's competition was thr mp7, which also was actually worse in all main aspects except mag placement, wasn't as compact but also had a deployment time were the p90 doesn't.
I have a solenoid in a swordfish, dominator, retaliator, and a jolt. And am putting one in a stryfe, and will probably do a rapidstrike. I understand that not everyone likes them, but for the rest of us, it's hard to go back.
The FN P90 is better than you think. A sub-compact gun that can hold 50 rounds in a magazine, has a rate of fire of 900 RPM and also has a built-in ACOG sight
@@JoaomogusGD My man you should take a look at the two weapons side by side the F-2000 looks nothing like this blaster. The only similarity between this and the F-2000 would be the placement of the mag well. This is done no doubt because a Nerf gun would not be able to handle a loading system as complex as the P-90's. Further more the P-90 has a very distinctive front grip as you will notice the F-2000 lacks this. A version of the FS-2000 comes with a M-1913 rail in the 6 o'clock position that you could add a vertical or angled forgrip. This clearly has been inspired by the P-90 and not the F-2000. This blaster even has the finger stop at the muzzle just like the P-90 so you dont get your fingers in front of the barrel. Anyway great review Lord Drac thanks for bringing this super cool blaster.
i do believe the top mag was just to make the downward ejection easier to make, plus hey moar bullets. Since this is a blaster and doesn't need to eject shells the bullpup makes sense. Still this is an amazing blaster.
I find it very suspect that the Bulwark is currently the only "P90" like blaster available. Not to mention according to some people the Bulwark "maker" has been MIA from continuing to refine their "P90".
The P90 was invented for an alternate use of the smg, the P90 is a pdw (Personal Defense Weapon) diffrent from smg cause it use 5.7mm rounds. When they invented kevlar armor it was relise that the 9mm/45.acp smg couldn't penetrate kevlar. So FN (a Belgium arms developer) created the P90 to penetrate kevlar body armor.
Neef mega are supposed to be heavy guns, and then he's like "Hmm yeah, P90 heavy go brrr" Ayways it looks more like the Cordite from Call if Duty instead of a P90 it even charges like a Cordite instead of like a P90
@@muze2361 It looks a lot like a P90, just with a standard bullpup mag placement and without the P90's signature upper receiver. There is a low-profile receiver for the P90 (though it looks OTs-14 or Type 94 Nambu levels of ugly). PDR is definitely the best comparison.

There is a reason that the p90 was designed that way like it can hold 50 rounds in a compact a Fashion but if you wanna make that hold 50 rounds it will hit a wall left and right even if it was a real life gun.
p90 is one of my favorite guns. the top mag is there so the user can see the ammo as its being fired so they know how much they have left, if you made it like a "standard" bullpup it would share the same problems with other bullpups, shell ejecting either left or right hindering the use of the gun for people that shoot it if there dominate hand is opposite of where the sell ejects then the hot brass would be going into there face. . not fun with the p90 the shells eject through the bottom avoids that problem entirely and having the mag up top can also allow the ammo capacity to be increased being more room. can the p90 be refined yes does it HAVE to that's debatable.
Not necessarily. The mag is one of the massive pros, but the ergonomics, compact frame, and the P90's sheer performance are just as much things that only it achieves given what it is.

Addison Herbert and have a much higher capacity at 50 rounds compared to a traditional magazine which would probably hold 30-40 rounds
Also no snag points for getting in and out of vehicles.
Also allows for a way to spit the empty casings out where the mag would have been, had it been a bullpup, as to make it truly ambidextrous
and the mag being transparent, you can see the remaining rounds without changing position ....
I agree. I never liked drac
