Literally just listen to turnstile or like old tbs and brand new. Bayside even has a wildly similar sound. As for newer bands I’d say algernon cAdwaller.

I personally don't know how I feel about these accusations. Maybe I just can't accept it, since this music has been such a big part of my life, and will continue to be, but there's also something that I never trust about the Internet. I believe something this serious should be taken to court, not just discussed on Reddit and then coming to a conclusion.
The justice system makes it extremely hard to prosecute sexual assault, especially this long after the fact. A lot of victims also choose not to come forward because of the social fallout that could follow their lives. You should believe it, but that doesn't mean you can never listen to the songs again, I guess.
'Believe women' is a disgraceful position, I have known many women to tell many lies in my time, why should they be automatically believed about anything

That's not quite the same as discussing on reddit or "just believing women" I mean they were clearly a really good band with a loyal following, why would the band itself throw that away if there wasn't something to this? They also said Lou posted an update around late February, detailing their life since JANK ended. They got hospitalized a couple of times for mental health problems/suicidal tendencies and are still going to therapy. Them writing new music is a fairly recent development, though. The same person who follows them said Lou is trying to keep it lowkey.
The whole story behind what happened makes me want to rip my hair out, these guys had such an amazing chemistry going
