A wonderful Audiotree! Discovered them when they opened for Hippo Campus in May, have seen them 3 times in the city and oh boy, they're hella talented. The piano really adds a full sound to the music and having Zack as another guitarist on tour helps execute all instruments to their fullest capabilities. Nothing better than humble, talented guys gaining recognition for hard work.
Lee Wise They were added to Hippo Campus' late spring tour since they rescheduled some dates due to illness. Amazing pairing! They opened for them at a Lolla aftershow as well and will be touring together again in the fall. I HIGHLY recommend going if you can - both bands are phenomenal live!

I remember seeing these guys at their first show back in 2013. Now, not even 4 years later, they're on Audiotree! It's crazy seeing how much these guys evolved overtime, not just creatively, but also as a live band.
watched remo drive back in high school at the garage in burnsville mn awhile back its amazing to see where they are now, super proud to say that my hometown was also home to these guys in bloomington
CryptZinoxal I dont think they had the backup guitarist and the piano when they originaly recorded it, and they probably have had more experiences playing the songs and refined what they had to because they have gotten a lot more opportunities to play the songa and become comfortable with them or this one is just way more heavily mixed and mastered, either one.
same thing happened with Conor Oberst/Bright Eyes. Pretty awesome how consistently singing and even lessons and shit can change your tone and range and all of that. Props to all of these dudes for kicking ass at what they're doing
A lot of the songs just feel uninteresting to listen to. natural, everyday degradation had so many bland songs. I like romeo though but the new album doesnt seem to be reflective of that.
But how much impact do you think the drummer made on the band? Don't you think their later stuff mainly falls on remaining members or whoever whote the songs? Its so different from their og stuff...
Noormis just seems like it dosent have that raw, fun, jammin In the garage type sound. I think drummers are often more important to the sound of a band than the singer is. :(

The organ really adds something to your tunes. Kinda makes your pre-organ recordings sound like they're missing an integral piece to the sound. Love it.
Drummer is using the benny greb sand ride by mienl, which is the best ride ever made probably. Definitely the best I've ever used. So versatile with a beautiful sound.
This is some of the best sound mixing on a live performance I’ve ever heard. Usually these live performances sound really tinny and thin - but this is thick and chunky.
